Santana, Hernandez-Harrison, Guerrero on card for Friday Night Fights Nov. 22 at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino

DOVER, Del. — Friday Night Fights returns Nov. 22 to the Rollins Center® at 7:30 p.m., with a headline bout featuring Edgar “El Chamaco” Santana, of Spanish Harlem, N.Y., which is expected to be for a Light Welterweight Championship Title, currently awaiting final sanctioning.

Undefeated Washington, DC, welterweight sensation Dusty Hernandez-Harrison (17-0, 10 KOs) will be the co-feature of the night. Now 19 years of age, Hernandez-Harrison turned pro at 17, and is ranked No. 19 by the NABF and No. 40 by the WBC. His notable success was recently praised in an open letter to USA Boxing by none other than Mike Tyson, the youngest man to win the Heavyweight Championship of the World. Slugtoberfest undercard bouts detailed

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – More bouts were added to the SectionLive and Two Fist Promotions’ professional boxing event Slugtoberfest, making October 26th a night packed with excitement. Junior lightweight pro boxer Vincent Jennings is from Grand Rapids, MI., and currently has two wins zero losses and one draw. Jennings will be competing against Anthony Molson, from Nashville, MI., who has one win and two losses thus far in his professional career. Fonfara Clears Up Promotional Situation

Despite rumors and innuendo to the contrary, Chicago-based promoter Dominic Pesoli of 8 Count Productions and IBF #1, WBO #2 and WBC #7-ranked light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara have no other intentions than to continue working together.

“I am with Dominic Pesoli and 8 Count Productions. I have always been with 8 Count Productions and I will continue with them for the foreseeable future,” said Fonfara.

Echoed Pesoli, “Andrzej and I have been together a long time and we are excited to be headed to his first world title fight as a team.” Continue reading

We Have Lift Off – Austin Trout is Training in Houston, TX For Lara Fight

Austin TroutAustin Trout has landed today in Houston, TX to begin training for his fight against Erislandy Lara.

Trout vs Lara will be the undercard of the Zab Judah vs Paulie Malignaggi fight on Dec 7th. Austin is looking to get back on the winning track after losing a decision to Saul Canelo Alvarez earlier this year in San Antonio, TX.

Austin is originally from El Paso, TX but now resides in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Austin is looking to make alot of moves since his last fight. He is now a client of Carla Ja Sports and Entertainment. Carla Ja says, “Austin is an amazing talent, we are looking to do great things together in the future.”
