413 Earlier tonight, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s SMS Promotions and Lou DiBella’s DiBella Entertainment presented an exciting seven-bout card before a loud and vibrant crowd at the beautiful Resorts World Casino in Jamaica, Queens. Hot 97’s DJ Carmelo created a party-like atmosphere mixing it up from the DJ booth and the special Monday night of boxing also featured three separate live performances from three of 50’s G-Unit rap artists including Tony Yayo.

Headlining the card was SMS promoted undefeated junior lightweight contender Mark Davis taking on the always-dangerous Carlos Vinan.

New York, NY (7/29/13) – Former light heavyweight and cruiserweight world champion Zsolt Erdei (33-1, 18KO’s) isn’t looking for any easy fights after suffering his first professional defeat in a razor-thin and questionable split decision loss to Denis Grachev in the first leg of the Monte-Carlo Million Dollar Super 4 Tournament. Erdei is instead offering up his services to super middleweight kingpin and ESPN.com’s pound-for-pound number two-ranked fighter in the world, Andre Ward.

Ward, who is coming off a shoulder injury and extensive rehab, hasn’t fought since scoring a 10th-round TKO over Chad Dawson in September of last year. Erdei says he has no problem in moving down to super middleweight and would jump at the opportunity.

392 New York, NY (7/19/13) – Earlier tonight, before a sold-out raucous crowd, DiBella Entertainment presented this week’s edition of ESPN’s Friday Night Fights at the historic Rockingham Park, in Salem, New Hampshire.

The 10-round main event featured a battle between WBC #3-rated junior welterweight Olusegun Ajose and WBC #5-rated “Hammerin'” Hank Lundy that ended with the latter winning a dominant 10-round unanimous decision.

Ajose was just two fights removed from his world title bid and first professional loss at the hands of Lucas Matthysse and was hoping an impressive victory over Lundy would put him back into the world title picture. Unfortunately, Lundy had other plans.

Golovkin stalked the game Irishman and finished the fight at 1:22 of the third round with a vicious left hook to Macklin’s ribs, sending a strong signal to the entire 160-pound division that the Kazakh is a true force.
