George looked severely unimpressive in his last bout. He simply isn’t very good. I highly doubt he will, but If he makes it passed Stevenson, he will be destroyed by the competition beyond that. He hasn’t improved since the savage beating Sierra gave him; the quality of his opponent just went back down.
I haven’t read or seen anything from his manager in awhile either. Maybe that guy finally realized he was never gonna make any money off of Donovan and moved on.
To George – these aren’t personal attacks or Internet tough guys commenting on here. The guys typically call it as they see it. You just don’t have the ability to beat the elite and thats been obvious with each test that you’ve had. Rodriguez out classed you by a long shot. You had no business being in the ring with him. The only reason you have the Stevenson flight is because those better than you declined. Your fight with Stevenson wasn’t even picked up by a respectable network. You’re a club fighter man. The sooner you figure that out, the better off you’ll be. We all admire your heart but it’s about time we started calling a spade a spade.
Maybe you should consider training fighters. Teddy Atlas started making real money from the other side of the ropes…..Posted September 2, 2012 10:05 pm
I hope I get to see the George/Stevenson fight, should be interesting. If George moves his feet and leaves that long left hook to the body in his pocket, he can knock Stevenson out. I wish I had seen Stevenson fight before to know if he has a right hook. Anyway, I’ll be rooting for my hometown Chicago fighter.Posted August 31, 2012 10:19 am
Are you serious ? Do you really think that Stevenson needs the help of the judges ?Posted August 30, 2012 10:26 am
I am making a prediction right here. Don the Bomb by KO or TKO for this fight late rounds. You know the criminals in Canada will never give a decision to him after the fiasco’s we have seen especially those peppers (Thats what they call French Canadians) up there. Adonis (Superchicken) Stevenson will have the refs, judges and Manny Stewart on his side but Don the Bombs fists will do otherwise. Superchicken made up some BS excuse not to fight because he wants to be cheated into a fight vs Froch which he would lose anyway. Unless Superchicken has an iron chin he is in trouble and even the ref might not be able to save him from Da Bomb.Posted August 30, 2012 9:00 am
Don’t sleep on Donovan George in this one, it could be Adonis Stevenson taking a nap when Da Bomb gets hold of him !!!!!!
Remember how Donovan destroyed Cornelius White, which looks good since white beat Yordanis Despaigne & Dmitry Sukhotsky up at Light Heavyweight !Posted August 30, 2012 7:53 am
Awesome, this is why I like eastsideboxing. I get a response from the man himself. More fighters should do this and not just stick to twitter. I first heard about you a few years ago when you were less known but still a good prospect. Yes, you didn’t hesitate to take this fight, even though it seems dangerous for you. We all respect that. Remember that Stevenson was knocked out in the second round against Boone. He has a suspect chin and it is forever ingrained in his memory that he was stopped like he was. We know what happens to fighters who get stopped so early like Stevenson did. Amir Khan was knocked out by Prescott, then we saw what happened again with the heavy handed Garcia. Stevenson is vulnerable to your power. That would be cool to see you make him feel very uncomfortable, and then knock him out. Good luck.Posted August 30, 2012 7:01 am
Stevenson should be challenging Commonwealth champion George Groves.Posted August 30, 2012 6:28 am
Thanks my manPosted August 30, 2012 2:00 am
Thanks bro. You got all these computer tough guys out there. Most have never had the balls to step in the ring. If you follow me, I fight everyone and anyone. I would never turn down a fightPosted August 30, 2012 1:06 am
That’s a funny pic of George. He’s just chillin like “what?”Posted August 30, 2012 12:00 am
We will see about that. Don George packs a punch and doesn’t sit down for anyone.Posted August 29, 2012 10:38 pm
Nice to see that boxers arent afraid to take on a last minute opponent and then reschedule with the previous opponent. Take notes Jon Jones. This is why MMA is GarbagePosted August 29, 2012 5:37 pm
