Poor Trinidad. Are we talking about the same Trinidad WHO TRIED TO KILL ALL OF FERNANDO VARGAS CHANCES OF HAVING MORE KIDS BY “CONTINUALLY HITTING HIM IN THE NUTSACK BECAUSE HE WAS HURT?????”

Now haters are coming up with PHONY PED claims for Hopkins, OK you don’t like the guy thats fine.. But pretending that he is using something is just garbage.. Bhop is not knocking guys out nor is he a whiring dervish in the ring (neither of which means you are definitely on something) he is just a CRAFTY, seriously disciplined, mentally strong athlete… There have ALWAYS been guys with more talent around, but they lacked his work ethic, and his mental fortitude…It only makes boxing look bad, trying to smear one of its ATG’s and yeah hate him or love him Hops is going down as an ATG…

When Hopkins finally gets caught on the PEDs, his loyal fans will feel betrayed. But old
BHOP will instead give us one of his epic “dont interrupt me” speeches. A ten minute special about how “the man” has been putting him down and how his life was such a struggle and how everyone is against him. Many viewers will slip into coma and die, cobwebs will form, flesh will turn to bone and STILL Hopkins will be blah blah blah blah blah blah

Slopkins is a dirty fighter and everyone knows it..
also many suspect he’s been using PEDs for years…

it was Tito Trinidad who took Slopkins out of the Friday Night Fights Dumpster
and gave him his first shot at big Money… Tito Trinidad also stayed in
NYC helping with the 9/11 rescue efforts for three weeks prior to the fight being rescheduled
not training while Hopkins ran back to Philly like a scarred Rat and continued training..

Tito Trinidad moved up in weight and took on Slopkins a true
light Heavyweight with ZERO Strings attached, no catchweight bullsht
and still went 12 rounds.. Hopkins fought dirty the entire night as he always does..

The Hopkins camp waited until 15 minutes before the fight and then asked for a rewrap.
it was done by Hopkins Camp to mess with Tito nothing more…

There was no Cast anything you moron.. it was simply too much Gauze and
some tape touching the skin which in 49 states is perfectly fine but
in NYC not allowed.. a simple rewrap took care of the issue not even a warning..

Trinidad was not in the same league as Bernard. 9-11 had NOTHING to do with that defeat. And as far as the wrapping of the hands is concerned; his FATHER wrapped his hands WRONG and Hopkin’s corner CAUGHT IT. That’s why they have other men from the corner in the locker room to witness what’s going on. The commission even concluded that his hands were wrapped to form a cast; so what the hell is DK talking about??? Go away you OLD CROOK!!!!

Interesting as well to hear that former 3-time world boxing champion Bernard Hopkins is interested in a IBF/WBO world light heavyweight title unification match against undefeated Nathan Cleverly if Hopkins manages to pull of another upset and win the title against Tavoris Cloud, BUT I’m not that sure if it is so good plans as I just wish he can pull this off and defeat Cloud and become champion again. Cleverly is a young potential fighter and Hopkins I’m afraid is to old to have a good chanse to win against young Cleverly. We will see hom he tackles Cloud first and I wish Hopkins all the best to win :-)

Are some people serious here? Bernard Hopkins’s legacy is already WELL secured and will be remembered threw the ages. 11 years of record reign as the undisputed middleweight champion of the world with a record of 20 world title defences. The first and only man so far to conquer all 4 major world title belts (WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO) and the Lineal crown and have them all at same time. Hopkins became world light heavyweight champion at age 41 and then he regained the world heavyweight title at a record age of 46 and is still great. Over the years having in an impressive way defeated over 14 recognised world champions – Oscar De La Hoya, Felix Trinidad, Roy Jones Jr, Antonio Tarver, Glen Johnson, Ronald “Winky” Wright, Jean Pascal, William Joppy, Kelly Pavlik, Keith Holmes, Lupe Aquino, John David Jackson, Simon Brown & Carl Daniels along with numerous top contenders including Howard Eastman, Enrique Ornelas, Robert Allen x2, Segundo Mercado, Wayne Powell, Antwun Echols x2, Andrew Council and many more good opponents so Bernard Hopkins have one of the most impressive victory records of all times and will be very remembered for all those fights. The same with his 6 losses on his record and only 2 of them are real losses (1st Roy Jones Jr fight and 2nd Chad Dawson fight), the rest where fights his opponents (Jermain Taylor x2, Joe Calzaghe among) got away with some cheap decisions and not at all mastered him in any way. Bernard Hopkins is a hard and one of the most difficult boxer ever to fight.

For the good of the sport I’m hoping for a Cloud win, followed by a Cloud/Dawson scrap while Nathan Cleverley travels to LA to take on Beibut Shumenov.

risky fight for cloud whats he done since getting schooled in his last outing ?

Posted March 1, 2013 9:17 pm

It’s Me, Ernie

Cloud is a good dude, and a solid well schooled fighter. He did have a bad outing in his last fight against Campillo, so obviously Bernice the “Snake” Hopkins weaseled his way in…
