Browne won by early KO. What a big surprise! Maybe Browne could try a breathng opponent before he takes the David Haye path of talking himself into a fight he hasn’t earned? Even after his loss to Thompson, I imagine David Price is asking his manager….”Lucas who?”

Heart Breaker

I think Solomon Haumono is the Australian Heavy Champ. I like that Browne has been getting experience in the UK though. I think Browne would KO Haumono, check out Haumono vs Sio and you’ll see why. Haumono has doubts on his chin just like Price.

As Australian H/W champion Browne should be looking to challenge Commonwealth chamion David Price this year.

Thats just the thing,it wasnt a shot on the jaw or nose. That shot was on the ear hard enough for a ruptered ear drum. That type of hit takes away your balance. It dosent mean a decent shot on the jaw is going to do the same thing, have the same effect.Well lets see we sure will find out soon enough…..

Browne has a good jab and can box a bit, but hasnt really been in against anyone who could match with skill let alone power..

50 bucks

now it’s confirmed he IS an easy target. No way in hell was that a power shot. Now any average boxer may have a chance with him. Just break through his jab and reach advantage and just start swarming-any half decent shot you get through might hurt him.

anon…I agree to a point about Price and a accident.Yes some guys could have fought through it,but alot of guys with that kind of shot couldnt have the whole balance thing.I think alot of people are thinking now Price is a easy target…this could be a huge mistake.

I saw Browne fight and he is very raw.He has power but anyone with skills would box him silly…Price and Fury would be way to much for him.

50 bucks

Lucas would drop Price inside 3 rounds and he wouldn’t even make it to his feet like after that light tap Thompson threw.

top hat

Spot on boxsmart and knowall. This guy should fight guys like rogan or sprott before talking about Price or Fury.

I agree with box smart. Fury would teach fat daddy a lesson

Posted February 28, 2013 1:34 pm

Box Smart

Fury would stop this guy in one round so would Price he’s not in their league & never will be

David Price == a terrible accident

Lucas Browne = Fat Bum

Suzie Q

He didn’t actually call out Price, he wants the Commonwealth title which Price happens to hold. He is trying to do things the right way. Beat, arguably, Australia’s best heavyweight in Leapai. Move onto a Commonwealth belt. Then start banging down the hype jobs like Fury. Beat top contenders and then get a title shot. If he keeps winning and with KO’s he will get his chance in 2015.

Look at this guys resume on boxrec. He has fought absolute cannon fodder…….fat taxi drivers. Why are we even mentioning this guy in the same sentence as Price and Fury. He has along way to go

Bing Bam Boom

Yeah, I can’t see Price getting in the ring with Browne after being exposed with that china chin. Fury’s glass jaw is running scared too. Towers backed out of a fight just recently. Browne will make big noise this year and we’ll see what happens in 2014.
