inspite of Pacman’s loss , Floyd is still afraid of Pacman until now.
Floyd is very silent , inspite of Pacman’s continued chanllenge to fight him…..maybe Marquez’s predection that Floyd wont fight is really
just right..

Roy Jones took over a year off after his bad KO loss to Glen Johnson… That’s the wise thing to do.. A boxer is more likely to get KO’d again after a bad KO loss where he’s out for several minutes. The brain heals itself but needs a lot of time, rest, and rehabilitation. Several months after a bad KO loss a boxer’s brain may appear normal in a regular MRI—but the newest machine, called an fMRI or functional MRI—will show his brain is still not functioning optimally or normally. The fMRI uses iron in the blood to trace areas where neurons are fired and gives a much clearer picture of where the brain is in the healing process. There comes a certain point where it’s difficult to impossible for the brain to rebuild normal functionality and that comes from repeatedly disrupting the healing process … which unfortunately happens a lot in football and Boxing.

Manny Pac, use your 120 and see if you’re ready by then money isn’t everything. You got to be smart like JMM. Sometime patience has its rewards.

facepalm* well this is the internet, not the boxing ring. go on, continue to spew hate on fighters you just judge based what you see in the media. poor souls. happy holidays.

Eat it losers!!;PEDman got KTFO and he will get KTFO AGAIN if a 5th fight should happen;PEDman is in no position to call jack,he should fold tent and take his PEDS kit with him into retirement!!

I hate how everyone calls the first three fights controversial, why not just close. I’ve just finished rewatching all four fights and honestly feel Manny won the first three, and was winning the fourth until that brutal knockout. Personally I think there has to be a fifth fight. Marquez got some revenge, but is still down 2-1-1.

Posted December 24, 2012 2:23 pm

You don’t get punching power like that at age 39, Just by looking at Marquez it should be clear he is on PEDS. And by having your strength coach Angel Hernandez doesn’t help much either. Hernandez should be shunned from all professional sports, mainly boxing.

You are an idiot and don’t know what you are taking about. Bob Arum would not have risked the health of his greatest asset against Marquez just for a Mayweather fight, that was not going to happen with Arum being any part of it. Secondly if there was any set up it was Marquez who wanted to play the aggressor to get Pacquiao to do the same, hence the counter which he trained for.

Posted December 24, 2012 11:47 am

Pac just got whupped and is acting like he calls the shots. JMM is the shot caller now and Pac has to take 60\40 and shut up. JMM can box where he wants does not have to be Texas.

Posted December 24, 2012 4:30 am

The last PAC fight was a fix no doubt at all, it’s all an arum money making scheme to get mayweather in the ring, then 5 will happen. Save this message everyone, I will bring you all back to it when it happens

Posted December 24, 2012 3:28 am

…and believe me,PEDman DOES NOT want another fight with daddy Marquez,he’ll get K.O’d again!!

Posted December 24, 2012 2:22 am

…Cotto fought Floyd, even took random blood testing,Marquez also fought Floyd, but NO!!,not PEDquiao,he’s too good for random testing!! In the end,he got his wishes!!

Posted December 24, 2012 2:18 am

…the BEST EVER EXPERIMENT,that’s for sure!!

Posted December 24, 2012 2:14 am

…blah, blah, blah!!…the only SUSPECT of any PED use is PEDquiao himself;the Mayweathers call him on it and it’s been downhill from that point on for PEDman…COINCIDENCE??,I THINK NOT!!

Posted December 24, 2012 2:11 am

…proof is in the pudding;0 for 3 since the Mayweathers call him on it and refusal to random testing…that’s enough sircunstancial evidence for me!!

Posted December 24, 2012 1:47 am

was there a solid proof of pacquiao using peds or other drugs? lol at the guy calling a fighter names. poor keyboard warrior. btw both a pac and marquez fan here.

Posted December 24, 2012 1:42 am

How long does a footballer take off after being smacked cold? Couple of weeks? Pacquiao was not beat up. He got caught being stupid. No reason why he shouldn’t get right back at it if tests show no damage. Personally, I’m tired of Marquez-Pacquiao. Get some new blood. Let Marquez try to make a name fighting somebody else. Marquez is this era’s Ken Norton.

sorry to hear that guess fighter just dont know when to stop being fighters . wish him well

Anonymous- yes the ghost will b an easy win 4 Floyd but he does deserve his shots. Mayweather had a long layoff he’s only working his way in2 Alvarez who will b on the undercard…U should stick around long enough 4 that 1? I believe u said Floyd would get juiced by Alvarez, Mayweather won’t b the 1 getting beat 2 a pulp. And I don’t want 2 hear that Alvarez wasn’t ready or any other excuses from u. We have all heard enough over Mannys last 2 fights. Say hi 2 Chicago guy

Anonymous- go than u won’t b missed, go hook up with Chicago guy. No1 on this site spews more crap than u. Except Chicago guy. Manny is done move on get over it. People r finally seeing thru the Crap of Arum and Manny, ur the biggest hater on here so cya later, all the best

Posted December 23, 2012 10:12 pm

all you lot on this forum are a bunch of tossers… much hate to towards a legendary fighter its pathetic……pacquiao got hit with a shot that would drop a lightheavy……he never took a beating it was lights out with a massive shot……and he was all over marquez and if had just used a little more patience he would have ended up stopping marquez in the latter rounds….these 2 fighters could fight every week and the result would alwayb different……but I tell you one thing at least he takes on fighters that are not suited to him unlike monkey man mayweather who is going to choose a bloody lightweight in guerreo…this forum is not even worth my effort in writing….im bailing out of a fan controlled site

Posted December 23, 2012 8:04 pm

Whoever they choose as an opponent next, sure as hell it ain’t gonna be against a counter puncher and more likely a come-forward brawler…guaranteed!!

Posted December 23, 2012 8:03 pm

…and it’s plenty obvious why PEDman never did agreed to random blood samples;i mean all that money down the drain just because you simply tried to avoid some random tests?;didn’t Ortiz,Mosley and Cotto took those silly tests along with Floyd?

Posted December 23, 2012 7:55 pm

Fight Aficionado

April is not what Roach said. A couple days ago Roach said he recommended Pac sit out til September and that Pac agreed with him.

Posted December 23, 2012 6:03 pm

…and it’s plenty obvious that PEDman MINUS his “shakes”,”vitamins”, “dietary regime” or whatever other fancy name Ariza will call that magical potion (wink wink) he was operating under,is just another ordinary fighter;no super speed,no endless stamina,no granite chin,no ferociousness…none of that!!,so is back to the lab for PEDman!!

Posted December 23, 2012 4:47 pm

The Best!

You must be kidding me…….It is pretty obvious why they want it in Texas, I think Riza wants to load Manny with the JUICE. Regardless I think it is a terrible idea for Manny he will take another terrible beating from Marquez which he may never recover from. Roach should really reconsider a 5th fight against Marquez, hasnt he learned from the previous four, Manny is in a no win situation, period?

Posted December 23, 2012 4:36 pm

Forreal: There’s no doubt in most boxing fans Floyd’s boxing superiority over Pacquiao even before the fight. The question was always Floyd wasn’t man enough to even consider fighting Pacquiao. All his theatrics tells me he’d rather take the easy money and fight lesser opponents past their prime or fighters that are below his weight class.

Posted December 23, 2012 4:11 pm

i dont know about this. Im almost thinkin pac should maybe face someone else and try for a fifth against Marquez later next year. Bradley would be a good option cause he punches like a little girl. I just think it could be a big health risk if he faces Marquez first and gets hammered like last time. If he fights someone else and looks like he hasnt lost a step then go for it. Arum is the devil! He must be sitting on millions but it will never be enough, so he has to squeeze every bit he can no matter what the risk. What does everyone think the odds would be on a fifth fight. Marquez a slight favorite maybe?

Posted December 23, 2012 3:52 pm

There’s no doubt in my mind that after the disaster of a few weeks ago that PEDman’s chances of beating Floyd were ZERO to NONE @ best!!

Posted December 23, 2012 3:45 pm

If it happens, I really hope there’s some olympic style drug testing going on leading up to the fight

It’s Me, Ernie

LMAO @ third world

I’d say April may be a little early; June would be better. But as long as he takes a full 30 days of no head contact, another 30 of very light training. Then he can get into gear. But June would be a safer bet, Lennox Lewis got knocked out by Rahman and came back strong.. so I have no doubt Pac can.

Fine, except te tumbo always comes out of his hole when Packy has a fight.

I’d give these two credit for repeatedly facing the most difficult opponents out there; each other.
