For a guy with a supposed bad chin, he hasn’t even visited the canvas yet. Marriquin was a good puncher and also been fighter at or near 126 most of the time. I know nothing of the Thai fighter, but the problem with fighting Rigo is that fighters who open up feel the power and lay off the gas. Rigo’s biggest problem is that he doesn’t know how to finish guys, once he learns that part of the game he’ll be hard to beat. As for his chin, he probably doesn’t like to get hit and isn’t used to it. He’s a defensive fighter. As long as you don’t get hit that shouldn’t even be a factor.

KO- Maybe Arum is ready to see him sink or swim and not prolong the investment. Rigo is a spectacular technician and the superior pure boxer in the division, but if he can’t take a punch at the higher level he just will not survive with the likes of Mares and Donaire.
