Jesus i have never seen so many ridiculous comments on a single article. This one had everything from conspiracy to steroid allegations. Apparently everyone is a boxing forensics expert. The first 3 fights were all close and controversial but this one was decisive. Plain and simple, marquez countered pac with a clean punch and ko’d him……simple peoplePosted December 15, 2012 3:07 pm
There will be a 5th fight . Manny will make 30 Million this time.Posted December 12, 2012 8:08 pm
The punch landed from a wide stanch barely half rotated punch that never went beyond the shoulders and never went through Pac and only landed. Pac dove his face in their with both guards down and looking all the way. This was all a dramatic setup to make millions on future fights.Posted December 12, 2012 5:39 am
Pac took a dive. Read the article above. Marquez was so damaged from the 5th round beating that he wasn’t expected to go another 6 rounds. We know now that Marquez got a broken nose and concussion while Pac CAT scans are negative with no damage.
There was nothing to be gained by a Marquez loss. A 5th and 6th bout that Bob Arum keeps bragging about would never sell if Marquez was crippled. Close examination of the knockdown and then KO was all staged. Marquez punches from a wide stance and from on his back foot doesn’t have that much power. PAC improvised by diving.Posted December 12, 2012 5:36 am
Pac was guaranteed 8 million and now its going to top 30 million due to PPV sales. Marquez got 3 million guaranteed and will top 10 million. Remember, it’s not winner take all. That’s why Pac brags about being the Pac of old, being careless, taking risks. Yeah right. Bob Arum is telling him to take a dive. Freddie Roach would never tell him to fight that way.
Who needs Mayweather when you can take a dive for millions more on the next two rematch bouts? I predict that the 5th match will be a controversial draw and cause the morons out there to buy a 6th bout.Posted December 12, 2012 5:15 am
Pac hopped forward with a couple slap jabs while guards down that didn’t even touch Marquez. Pac never raises his left previously to guard or follow with a straight left. Pac is even eyeing the incoming counter right from Marquez that is launched from a wide stance. It lands when the punch is half rotated with no extension beyond his right shoulder. Look at the left side angle of Marquez when he lands. No extension. Pac has got both guards down all the way into the counter punch. Pac looks like he’s even sticking his head forward to kiss Marquez right shoulder before he dives forward.
Pac took a dive. Marquez losing would spell doom for a 5th or 6th bout. Now Mexican fans are giddy and are ready to pay for more.
Bradley decision win didn’t work for Bob Arum in selling a rematch. So he tells Pac to take a dive with Marquez. Pac hints at this by telling the media in prior days that he will take chances, be reckless, be the Pac of old. Freddie Roach would never tell him to fight that way.Posted December 12, 2012 5:11 am
Yet PAC was guaranteed 8 million and is now climbing to 30 million due to PPV result sales. Marquez got 3 million and topping 10 million. Bob Arum immediately brags about a 5th/6th fight before the 4th and after. How can he sell those fights if Marquez loses again?
Pac CAT scans came out negative with nothing broken. Marquez has another broken nose and concussion.
Don’t be a fool. There is money to be made.
Pac even bragged about being the Pac of old, taking chances, being reckless prior to the fight. Why say that? Freddie Roach doesn’t teach that type of boxing. That advice came from Bob Arum. Think about it.Posted December 12, 2012 4:57 am
Pac took a dive for the upcoming millions that will be made in the 5th and 6th that Bob Arum is already bragging about. Marquez even went to Bob Arum’s post fight birthday party.
Remember when Pac said he will this time fight like the Pac of old, take chances, be reckless. That’s not Freddie Roach coming out of his mouth. That is Bob Arum. Those words were a hint of a fake KO dive. Remember when Bradley posted a poster ticket of a rematch with Pac even before his first fight? No one was convince with the Bradley decision win. So this time it had to be bloody before the dramatic KO. Can you KO a pro elite boxer with a punch that doesn’t even extend beyond the shoulders when it lands? PAC dove his head in and took a dive. Just like he exploded backwards from that 3rd round knockdown from an upward wide stance punch when he was fainting backwards. No power there.Posted December 12, 2012 4:51 am
Don’t be dumb. A Marquez loss in this fight was bad for business. Mexican fans who are the majority of boxing fans were angry in previous bouts. So Bob Arum gave them what they want and he promises a 5th and 6th.
Third round knockdown was landed from a wide stance and upward and reaching and Pac was fainting backwards. Not enough power to cause a knockdown. Yet Pac explodes backwards to his butt. Yeah right.
Six round KO was landed from another wide stance, shoulders halfway rotated, and gloves/arms not even extending beyond the right shoulder. It landed but not through Pac. Yet Pac dramatically dives forward. The moments before that Pac is standing straight up, guards down, he takes two hops forward, soft/slap jabs Marquez chest and barely touching, no left guard up to block or follow up a left straight . Instead, PAC stands head high , guards down, head looking straight at the incoming right counter that again doesn’t extend beyond the right shoulder when it landed. PAC takes a dive.
In prior days, PAC brags how he will be the PAC of old and take chances, be careless, reckless, etc. Freddie Roach didn’t tell him to fight that way. Why would he say that? Answer: Bob Arum.
PAC CAT scans come out negative with nothing broken. Marquez has a broken nose and concussion. PAC is guaranteed 8 million and is climbing up to 30 million due to PPV sales. Marquez is guaranteed 3 million and climbing up to 10 million. Millions more will be made by the 5th and 6th that Bob Arum is promising.
Who needs Mayweather when your getting richer just diving into the canvas?Posted December 12, 2012 4:42 am
Yes to give to friends/family even the guy that drives his tour bus. Generous guyPosted December 11, 2012 10:37 pm
You are all a bunch of morons if you even think that marquez is a better boxer than pacquiao. Pac made one mistake. Marques got lucky. He would not have made it two more rounds.Posted December 11, 2012 8:21 pm
Only 15k tickets sold?????…..Posted December 11, 2012 7:51 pm
“But you can’t find where i said UD ANYWHERE” I can, Braggadamus : In the thread under the article “Pacquiao vs. Marquez IV: Firmly on the Fence, by Paul Strauss, Dec. 6, 2012. Here’s your post, cut and pasted:
I predict that Marquez will win by UD!
Fool. My memory is better than yours. So is my 2012 prediction record.Posted December 11, 2012 12:14 pm
Ok Marquez won. For the first timePosted December 11, 2012 12:02 pm
Marquez stepped on Pacquiao’s foot and knocked him out cold in the 6th round. Veteran tactics. He was getting busted up badly and likely wouldn’t have lasted three more rounds like that. His nose was broken and would only get worse. Both guys have slowed down considerably and should fight a fifth time and then call it quits. Great role models and great fighters.Posted December 11, 2012 11:46 am
While watching 24/7, they said Manny spent a million dollars on tickets.Posted December 11, 2012 10:34 am

Now we can clearly says that Pacman has 2 Mega Fights. 1. Pacquiao-Marquez 2. Pacquiao-Mayweather, but I think Pacquiao -Marquez V will topped them all all. I predict it will generate past 230 millions.Posted December 11, 2012 9:37 am
I love Pacquiao/Marquez fights, their styles gel together so well and make really exciting and intriguing fights. I hope they keep on fighting each other – I’d watch them no matter how old they are :-)Posted December 11, 2012 8:34 am
