I expect Johnson to win this one with a stoppage in the middle rounds.
He has fast hands, good defense, and more power than his record shows. He is exactly what Fury doesn’t need right now.

Swedish, heres the problem i see, Wladimir is not ranked by the WBC because he holds the WBA belt! So in my eyes Wlad should not automaticcaly qualify for that accolade. They have been using this as one of their excuses for not fighting eachother, so they cannot have it both ways. Politics eh

Swedish Boxing Fan – i get your point but in-essence but no… Wladimir has not fought for the WBC belt and as such it does not belong to him!! He’s got to fight someone for it and not be given it! He might be the best HW out there but he still needs to win it in the ring.

The WBC belt will after Vitali Klitschko belong to the true and only heavyweight champion of the world – Wladimir Klitschko. Any one want the belt? Stand in line and fight Wladimir and defeat him in order to take all his world champiochip belts.

When Vitali retires hopefuly Fury finds his sack and takes on Wlad for the WBC belt.

Fury is a bit of a joke at the moment in my mind… all talk and management. let me make this crystal clear. Fury has not taken the traditional rout i.e. British title, European and then on to the world level. for me the reason he has not taken this route is plain and simply he’s been managed and lead in this direction. As such you have to question the confidence in his management team in his ability. The price match up exemplifies this point. now this is a fact, Hennessey made an offer to Frank Maloney which was turned down. they were going to go to purse bids as stipulated by the BBBofC. Hennessey, with fury’s backing (TV interviews support this) pulled out rather than going to purse bids, which Hennessey might of won. the fact they didn’t go to purse bids and dropped the belt… Fury is not ready for world level yet… he should have looked to learn his trade but being the best in the UK and then Europe and then move on to world level. The only thing about plotting you career this was is… you are told who to fight and there is no cherry-picking opponents. This is where Hennessey & Fury will come unstuck in my mind…. I could be wrong… time will tell.

Fury is blatantly waiting for a Klitschko to vacate then pick up the left overs.

Box Smart sais ‘Tyson 2 Fast Fury’ …………HAHAHAHAHAHA Pull your tongue out son. People, do not get too excited. Fury ran from Price citing money couldnt be agreed, then when i heard Peter Furys interview with Steve Bunce, Peter claimed it was because promotion deal and tv channel couldnt be agreed. All of which team Price know nothing about. All they seen was a Tyson Fury shaped hole in a wall. Tyson ‘big man behind a keyboard’ Fury aint gna fight Vitali! Nope not neva! I rekon hes after Povetkin for the WBA regular bangle. Fat make makes me laugh aswel, talking about they will bring a Klitschko to England for the fight. Behave! They aint coming here to fight Luke Fury. Box Smart AKA Fat Mick, jog on chubby

Fury has called out Boystov who backed out..and Fury talked to Adameks people who didnt want a Fury fight.Glad to see Johnson take this fight which could be a really good fight overall.Fury is showing positive improvements as time goes on and looks in very good shape aswell. And Vinny M. might not be a world beater Furys last fight but Fury did put him away much faster and better then Adamek did or Boystov did in fact he went the distance with Boystov.Again show me a hvwt. right now who has a better resume then Fury and is only 24???

I would like to see fury face vitaly. Vitaly has seriously declined but I bet he would smoke fury. Why are posts not coming up. I’m getting tired of east side bs…..knock the bs off. Fury hasn’t faced Anyone and it will remain that way after price comes and goes. Plus fury is featherfisted from what I can glean. Of course he doesn’t want to fight a klitschko, he desnt even wanna fight the top ten guys and namers

Fury looking in great shape..and at 24 he will be a force in the hvwt. div. sooner or later.

Meh,

Already wriggled out of a “mandatory” defense to Price, now after all the BS of we’re fighting our way to “mandatory challenger” for the WBC belt, now we get more nonsense and of course chumps like you suck it up.

He can tell the world he wants both Klitschko’s on the same night, until he steps in the ring with a signed contract, he’s just the mouthy Tyson Fury most of us know him to be.

WBC rankings: Champ: V. Klitschko – 1. Arreola (US), 2. Stiverne (Canada), 3. Fury (GB), 4. Boytsov (Russia), 5. Grano (US), 6. Banks (US), 7. Mitchell (US) …

So if Vitalli will retired, and Furry wins against Stiverne it will be Fury/Arreola for the most prestigious belt? it will be a funny fight, but not serious for the WBC crown

What is a WBC Eliminator fight? Didn’t Bermane Stiverne beat Ray Austin over a year ago in a WBC Eliminator fight?

Posted November 27, 2012 3:15 pm

Box Smart

Price isn’t worthy of a fight with Fury yet he’s beaten NO BODY he is Britains Deontay Wilder just fights useless old worn out bouncers, Fury as already beaten world class fighters and Johnson is another to add to that list.

Everyone is running scared from Fury cos Adamek, Chagaev, Boytsov, Chambers, Haye all refused to fight him. This is a good fight Fury wide points decision for me

Posted November 27, 2012 3:03 pm

WHAT!!

Obviously dropping domestic belts and running scared from the No.1 challenger is worthy of a World title now. Can’t wait to see this glass jawed hype job flounder when he actually fights someone with a pulse. His run from all those guys so far.

Also he’s ripped to pieces he’s in magnificent shape now he’s got a great jab and throws very powerful combos just ask Malik Scott he could only spar for 3 days he got a perforated ear drum and couldn’t land a glove on big Tyson, Fury will have that WBC belt around his waist inside 8 months

The writer of this article obviously hasn’t seen recent Fury fights, he’s the complete package now and my prediction for the Johnson fight is PAIN
