I AGREE. GUERRERO, was trying to turn it into a brawl. Unfortunately Berto let him drag him to the ropes and hold him there. He had his head in Bertos chest and on his shoulder most of the fight weighing him down with his weight. A real fighter slugs it out in the middle of the ring!!!

“Don’t worry about it Boxtradamus, I know you 4got you picked Berto to win”-Well its a GOOD thing that the English language differentiates between pick and prediction…..I predicted that Guerrero would WIN on points and I changing MY pick to satisfy NY John does NOT change MY prediction….I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born!!!!1

I don’t know what fight some of you guys were watching but what I saw was Berto doing most of the holding. When Guerrero had his glove up behind Berto’s head it was being held there by Berto so Guerrero just pounded him with his free hand.

Floyd is getting old and slow. He’ll get busted up fighting any top fighter at this stage of his career. I doubt limited and slow Guerrero could win that fight though.
Reading fools like Q and others on ESB makes me feel old and uninterested in posting.

Please no rematch to watch another bloody boring mugging alley fight. After this, Marquez vs. Pacquiao IV will be a refreshing sight.

No way Guerrero’s ready for Mayweather — but okay he can try to get at least 1 million to be fun, easy target for Mayweather who will NOT have to exert hardly any effort — it will be a typical day at the gym type of fight for Mayweather. Only difference will be the PPV millions Mayweather will rake in.

I still don’t see Guerrero as a legitimate opponent for Mayweather. Not yet anyway. In my mind, he needs at least one more victory vs. a top-flight welterweight. Ideally, I’d like to see him fight Tim Bradley next, but that Top Rank/Golden Boy nonsense won’t allow that to happen. So Guerrero vs. the winner of Bradley vs. Brook seems more likely. A fight w/ Maidana would be damn good too. And while Malignaggi is up there in terms of WW rankings, I have NO interest in Guerrero-Malignaggi. It’ll be interesting to see who he fights next. I just hope it’s not Money because I only buy Mayweather PPV’s in hopes of seeing him lose and right now I still don’t give Guerrero a chance to win that fight.

Berto just fought for the pay check, he made 1.5 mil and Guerrero only made 631,000.
I want to see a rematch??

Great victory by Guerrero last night. He dictated the pace and distance the fight was fought at. And when he absorbed Berto’s wicked uppercuts, not only did he show a good chin, but he also remained relentless, pressing forward and throwing punches in combination. He held a little to much for my liking, but I guess he kinda had to so he could keep it an inside fight. Overall I’d say it’s the Ghost’s best performance.

If Guerrero want big money/less danger/more interesting fights/a 5th titles, he should goes down to 140 and fight Amir Khan, Brandon Rios, and Danny Garcia

A Mayweather/Guerro fight televised on Pay Per View should be considered theft to the consumer.

Proud African

Guerrero is a dirty fighter. He justs wants a huge paycheck against the great Floyd Maywather. But of course he knows he’ll be knocked silly, like a paper doll.

Berto was a poor man’s floyd in terms of style in the fight. The real Floyd will kill Guerrero. He was no Ghost. Rather, he was an octopus, clinging and grabbing in a sickening way.

In an ideal World, Canelo fights the winner of Cotto/Trout @ 154Lb, while Guerrero & PBF get it on @ 147Lb. Then the 2 winners sort it out @ 154!

or should i say goldenshower and canelo …

Posted November 25, 2012 4:32 am

Why would Floyd want to fight the dirtiest fighter? He should fight PAC. Boxing must turn away from this new obsession with maulers who continually foul. I.e. mares, Guerrero, rios, ward, Bradley. Refs are complicit and judges r rewarding prison street fighters, it’s sad.
