“The ass beaten Khan and Alexander would still find the crude swinging Maidana a wide open target… Robert Garcia isn’t a miracle worker — GTFOOH”

Nah. You’re wrong Tark. They may find him a wide open target–every now and then– but who’s the one that’s good enough to get not one but two fights with Floyd?

Garcia is good enough and so is Maidana. Today Marcos would cream Khan and with a decent ref he’d beat Alexander by chicken chasing UD.

hibdeebibdee says.., “Marcos beat the crap out of Broner, Kotelnik has practically disappeared off the boxing map, and Maidana would pummel Khan and Alexander in a rematch.”

Broner fled the division, that shows how confident he is.

The fact that Kotelnik has no major wins, except for beating Maidana, just shows how bad a boxer Maidana is.

Im in the minority it seems of people who like this fight. May is a couple of leagues above Maidana, everyone knows that. But I gotta feeling he can do some damage even if he can’t win.

“Like I said… Maidana fought Alexander, Kotelnik, Floyd, Broner, and Khan — Maidana couldn’t stop any of them and LOST 4 out of the 5.”

Tark, Maidana is a much better fighter under the tutelage of Robert Garcia. Out of the five opponents you listed Maidana faced 4 of them pre-Garcia.

Regardless, Marcos beat the crap out of Broner, Kotelnik has practically disappeared off the boxing map, and Maidana would pummel Khan and Alexander in a rematch.

Marcos is preparing for his second match with Floyd. None of the fighters you listed have faced Floyd even once. Nor do they deserve to.

You’re the MORON Sremond

Thurman put Julio Diaz out in 3. Diaz floored Amir Khan and beat the crap out of him.. Thurman stopped Soto Karass, who is the only guy to KO Andre Berto…a guy YOU think would be a good “test” for Thurman.. LMAO!!!

Brook beat Porter in hostile territory and is a World Welterweight Champion.. Porter smashed Malignaggi like nobody else has been able to do.. Porter also outboxed Devon Alexander, who dominated Maidana.

Both Brook and Thurman are undefeated.

Like I said… Maidana fought Alexander, Kotelnik, Floyd, Broner, and Khan — Maidana couldn’t stop any of them and LOST 4 out of the 5.

SREDMOND

Tark is a MORON, neither Thurman nor Brook have any credentials and of course they have looked good facing NO ONE for most of their careers… Maidana, has faced Khan, Ortiz, Mayweather, Broner, and Kotelnik all these guys absent Kotelnik I believe were World Champions at some point… Thurman and Brook are newbies that would possibly get mowed down by a tank like Maidana

Maidana vs any welter weight is a competitive match up. There isn’t a Welterweight out there that I feel can blow him away, so whilst he may be lacking in some boxing skills he’s coming on like gangbusters. He’s improved quicker than Shawn Porter, his boxing skills are quickly catching up with Brook and his ring smarts are closing in on the top boys. I’d bet even money on him vs Thurman and Porter and bet the car, the trailer, the ranch and the paycheck on him vs Khan.

Thank you
At 147 Maidana is a wrecking machine and people love to point out his low times at 140 but he has always had heart and will trouble anybody today at 147…..Just ask Floyd

TARK did u really score the khan maidana fight in khans favor? coz no1 in england believes khan won that fight, except maybe his asian fans.

Posted September 4, 2014 5:34 am

I give credit to Khan, at 140, for dropping Maidana with body blows in round one. In my view that fight was a draw as the ref started warning and pointing Maidana for any and every thing he could find to give Khan a chance going into the deep rounds.

Maidana would clown Khan today at 140 or 147

TARK you lost serious cred with me today talking that BS

I’m hoping Maidana catches him like Shane did!!!! Goodnight IRENE IF HE DOES!!!

Why is a rematch stupid? Floyd Mayweather wasn’t able to run like he usually does. Maidana gave him a tough night. I don’t get people saying he’ll use smother tactics… Uh, he’s a brawler. Would you rather they hug?

I think Khan could cause Mayweather a few problems with speed but Floyds timing may well negate that easily enough. That’s why I want to see Khan v Marquez or Brook.

This fight will be a Mayweather lopsided decision. I have no desire to watch it really other than to see if Maidana can be even dirtier than the first time around. Good to see some credit now being given to Kell Brook. Can he beat Floyd? I seriously doubt it but it would be interesting for a few rounds. Thurman? No way can he beat Mayweather because he just doesn’t have the skills, it would have to be a punch out of nowhere like Hatton caught Floyd with in Round 1 of their fight or Mosley produced in Round 2 of their match up. Even then, Floyd has survived and gone on to dominate.

Tark is a dip s..t. Pretends he’s a boxer….but I seriously doubt it. If he is he isn’t a smart 1.

“Nope. He fought rematch with Mosely he just lost again!”

HAH!!!

6 years later—after Shane had a 3 fight winless streak—DLH rematched him

As for the Floyd-Marcos rematch??? I would much rather see Floyd fight a good boxer-puncher like Brook or Thurman ANYTIME.

Maidana fought Alexander, Khan, Broner, Floyd, and Kotelnik… Marcos couldn’t KO ANY of those boys — and lost 4 of the 5 fights. He sucks ass.

The only difference I see in this rematch is a more meticulous Maidana. After he starts getting tagged then he’ll go back to his smothering tactics. Didn’t mind the fight being made though cause I just like to see combinations Mayweather puts together. It’s almost like a well coordinated symphony

Judah won both fights with Spinks… He just made sure he stopped Cory in the rematch, because the judges hated him.

Forrest won both matches with Mora.

The Emile Griffith vs Louis Rodriquez fights were the best WW matches ever.

I loved the way Jose Napoles put it on Curtis Cokes twice.

Napoles was stopped on cuts by the unskilled Billy Backus — but he murdered the punching bag in their rematch.

The first Leonardi-Duran fight was a great fight… The rematch stunk the planet out — topped by Duran quitting with the fight close, and Leonard running like a dog.

De La Hoya lost the Welterweight Title to both Mosley and Trinidad… and turned down red-hot rematchs because he was CHICKENSHlT!!!!!!

Scrolling down the ESB homepage you’d think the global sport of boxing consisted of 2 athletes: Floyd and Pacquiao. It’s gotten old guys.
