Eubank jr needs to step up the level of competition, that guy he demolished got ko’d by a guy who Eubank already beat so a bit of a forgone conclusion, I hate fights like that, nothing learned or gained apart from the chance to mouth off at fighters way above his current level of fighting.

thats why you have 5 belts per division in modern boxing. take the middle”s, GGG is the Real champ and then you have 4 mickey mouse”s to back him up.

His old man had the best set of whiskers in British Boxing . . . . EVER
The punishment he took from a peak Carl Thompson was incredible
A proud and determined warrior . . . They don’t make them like “big Chris” anymore

Eubank jnr is a massive prospect in promotional terms. The fact that he’s a decent boxer coupled with the fact he’s the legendary Chris Eubank son the possibilities are huge. He needs toget on sky and they also need to look at getting him on other media as well. His appeal could go beyond boxing esespecially with Chris Snr in the back ground. The eubank road show could be back on!

It’s sad to say but how would any of our British middleweights fair against GGG?, at the end of the day he’s the man at the pinnacle of the middleweight division although I’d still like to see him wipe out Cotto and Quillin just to unify the divisions. BJS is a gifted boxer for sure but we really haven’t seen him absorb a REAL bomb of a punch , the kind that GGG delivers.

All of these guy’s need to start fight overseas more!

TARK

Chris Eubank is progressing rapidly??? NOPE!!!

I don’t know what his people are thinking.. He needs to be fighting better boxers who can get him quality rounds and make him box his ass off..

At this point he should be way past the point where you’re feeding him bums like Jukic — who he can blast out with little effort, without even worrying about defending himself.

Like BJSaunders said,he doesn’t need Eubank Jr, hes the British, Commonwealth and now EBU Champion, What’s Eubank bringing to the table apart from his dads big name?

I really enjoyed the BJS fight, that fella gave him his toughest fight and yes BJS has found his power KOing an unbeaten European Champion, good show and great news.
A fight with Eubank junior looks to be spicing up nicely too with both Guys trading insults after their fights.

“This guy could give GGG a run for his money. He’s that talented. I’m a big fan!”

Hahahahaha funniest thing I’ve heard here in ages.

you get me

It seems to me the Eubank’s are trying to goad Billy Joe into a fight so they can take a quick route to world rankings and collect his belts – pride comes before a fall and good as Billy is
JR has the edge in power and better quality sparring even though he is less experienced

klaus heisler

why are the boxnation team so obsessed with trying to create a rift between Eubank Jr & Sr?

Posted July 27, 2014 8:22 am

Mick the Marmalizer

With only 1 more notch required to secure the Lonsdale belt out-right Saunders would be a fool to jump straight in against Soloman or Quillin, I suggest he make 1 defence against BBBofC #1 mandatory John Ryder before moving onto the World stage.
Terry Flannigan looks like one to watch!

Fight Aficionado

Only saw Saunders fight once before but he’s got talent. The Brits seem high on him and I notice he’s been mad dogging Eubank Jr lately so maybe he’ll start getting some premium fights.

hookoffthejab

Saunders fought a pretty average fight even he said so …….He will be back bigger an better next time ……….Missed the junior fight spewing ……………….

Posted July 26, 2014 8:17 pm

Mr Gav

Saunders has enough quality to be a second/third rate world champion but like Arthur abriham for ex sample , but would be easily beaten by the top dogs GGG cotto. Eubanks looks class but needs better competion before stepping up but he will go far

Posted July 26, 2014 7:41 pm

Scottyboy

Eubank jr needs to make that fight with Saunders and step up to the mark. Trouble is that Saunders is a seasoned pro and goes 12 rounds like it’s nothing. Eubank jr has yet to go past 8 and would be in big danger of a late stoppage if he couldn’t get Saunders out of there. Saunders also has more to lose and imo would lose. That punch tonight aside, he just doesn’t have the power.

D@MN!T!!!! NO FURY/USTINOV?????

Posted July 26, 2014 6:42 pm

Popkins

It’s true, Eubank’s opponent was mediocre. He looked like a division smaller than Chris, but still, I reckon he wud give most middleweights 3 or 4 rounds. Eubank annihilated him!……

pjd

Flanagan looked brilliant. Very talented.

Posted July 26, 2014 6:37 pm

Decent win for Billy Joe. Eubank Jr sure is talented – a fight with Saunders later this year wud b a great scrap. … Gutted Fury pulled out 2nite!!!

at least billy jos opponent had a pulse

Posted July 26, 2014 6:31 pm

Billy Joe does not look good at all, after the fight he looked so flustered compared with Eubank’s dead stare…

Posted July 26, 2014 6:18 pm

my word did you see the bum eubanks fought then they all proclaim he the next big thing/ best in the world hahahaha

Posted July 26, 2014 5:51 pm

Typical Warren show, headline fight pulls out to be headlined by a domestic fight with a bum.
