While I’m here, I’m surprised that Lucas Browne has not chosen to defend his Australian & Commonwealth title’s in Sydney against Alex Leapai.

Gumboot: I’m looking forward to seeing Parker in against the likes of Anthony Joshua & Hughie Fury in a few years time when the next generation flowers.

I tend to agree Mick and while the belts available in this weekends Parker -Mintp fight are pretty meaningless, other than in ranking terms with a minor body, the fight itself is a good test for the developing Parker. In his 9th professional fight I doubt he is ready for Browne but certainly one to watch

It was nice to see Lucas Browne win the Commonwealth H/W title, but when will more from down under contest this genuine title instead of buggering around with Asian/Pacific Micky Mouse title’s?
