Price still won’t be ready for Thompson next year.Posted June 7, 2014 3:27 pm
two bums.Posted June 7, 2014 3:10 pm
Price just won a UD over 12. Even allowing for the fact that he is rebuilding this certainly is not the look of a man ready for Wlad in twelve months. Twelve years…maybe…Posted June 7, 2014 2:46 pm
Wlad may not be around when Price is ready! It may be too latePosted June 7, 2014 8:28 am
Honestly the secret is out. There’s no getting around the glass jaw. Nobody with a weak jaw beats Klitschko ever. It’s just not a close call.Posted June 6, 2014 4:31 pm
and idiots pay to watch these plumbers.Posted June 6, 2014 2:17 pm
Blah blah blah…..this price talks more rubbish than haye…..price has zero chance of beating Klitchko when hes 60yrs old. I expect no less from the english, 2 good 4 every1 else they are.Should have kept the convicts in England and sent the educated upper class 2 the land down under?…….idiotsPosted June 6, 2014 5:55 am

Very good Tark. I’ve got Thompson. Taken a challenge but this a decent contest. Both beat price amy day. TT has of course already done soPosted June 5, 2014 11:44 pm
Nothing against Price, but…
Tommy Brooks: This time next year David Price will be ready to get KTFO by Klitschko !
Price has a slim punchers chance vs Wlad, nothing more.
“Takam v Thompson this weekend. Anyone picking it?”
I’ll take Takam, but he needs to get his butt in gear before round five.. He closed hard against Mike Perez and I had him winning.. More than 90% of the people I talked to had him winning.
He has to assume the judges are dead against him winning for starters.. Then he has to start a lot earlier.. and he has to close the show even harder than he did with Perez.Posted June 5, 2014 10:24 pm
Klitschko could ko price with a jab, im serious.Posted June 5, 2014 9:31 pm
Price blows he ain’t going nowhere, he will be in the boxing hall of bums.Posted June 5, 2014 9:30 pm
Price is easy work for Klitchko. He will never beat them. He will never beat an A level fighter. Probably can’t beat a B level fighter.Posted June 5, 2014 9:06 pm
Price will ko klitschko easy, price jumps on wladdy with a nuclear bomb, the end of kbro era, you got it from the best prophet, better than Jesus, Mohamed and squlbly bla.Posted June 5, 2014 8:53 pm
Funny, I ran into a British dude from Liverpool the other day here in California. Told him hey, let’s hope Price doesn’t get KTFO again. He just gave me a knowing smirk.Posted June 5, 2014 8:18 pm
Yeah, Price will be, so will I. Ridiculously inane bs. Takam v Thompson this weekend. Anyone picking it? Other than boxtra cos he gets everything 100% right. Dick!Posted June 5, 2014 7:37 pm
I saw the title for this article early this morning, I busted out laughing, it was good to start the day with a laugh.Posted June 5, 2014 7:14 pm
Yes very funny headline, I was laughing so hard I nearly fell of my dildo. I had to check which comedy genius had written this comic masterpiece…… Sauerland Promotion his promoters…. all cleared up now, you can go back to sleep David…. It’s like David and Amir Khan share the same chin…….Posted June 5, 2014 7:11 pm
Price is an average to decent heavyweight. No more than that. A world title for Price would require a Buster Douglas type of miracle event. He may be a top twenty guy. That’s as good as it will get.Posted June 5, 2014 6:58 pm
Price always looks tired and burned out… Always looks like a 40-year-old foundry worker who just got off a double shift.Posted June 5, 2014 6:36 pm
No he won’t.Posted June 5, 2014 5:50 pm
LOL – Won’t happenPosted June 5, 2014 5:39 pm
The idea that Price is being trotted out as a possible Klits conqueror after his RANCID outing further affirms the desperation of this era where mopes like him and Helenius are packaged and sold as Wlad clones only to get taken and exposed as JUST big…. Eventually HW will become a force in boxing again, but today is not that day as the stink continues.. Stiverne will get waxed by Wlad and the gnomes of ESB , Bears, Tark and others will laud the victory as a HOF caliber win over a chubby guy good enough to beat up that sad fighter we once knew as Chris “The Nightmare Arreola”Posted June 5, 2014 5:27 pm
Price is more likely to fail in a lead-up fight than he is to ever challenge Wlad.Posted June 5, 2014 5:27 pm
I believe that it would be a very big mistake to put Price in with Wlad. A big mistake.Posted June 5, 2014 5:05 pm
Tommy Brooks should meet Derek Trotter…this time next year we`ll be millionaires.Posted June 5, 2014 5:05 pm

SREDMOND is Octavius Jomar Chatman.

That was the EXACT same ANSWER SREDMOND would’ve and HAS responded WITH MANY times in THE PAST.
And COINCIDENTALLY enough Octavius is always backing SREDMOND up.

If you are a PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE…It is your RESPONSIBILITY to stay in the best shape possible REGARDLESS whether you are in training for a fight or not…If he abused his body during his downtime that’s his fault and should not be used as a COP OUT or an EXCUSE as to why he had a bad performance…That just shows lack of SELF DISCIPLINE on his part….I have NO RESPECT for that….He gets no pass here….

Pavlik has had a serious drink problem for a long time. That’s just the reality of the situation. Problems outside of the ring affect different fighters differently. It’s not the same for everyone.
Duran and Chavez are two of the greatest to ever lace them up. Poor analogy. They had natural talent Pavlik can only dream of.
You can’t just lump individuals together and expect the same rules to apply to all. At best that’s just lazy and naive to think that, at worst just plain ignorant.
That’s like saying all fighters age at the same rate. Or like fighting with a broken hand isn’t a major obstacle to overcome because another fighter won a fight fighting with the same handicap.
You judge it on a case by case basis. On its own merits. Pavlik’s long standing battle with the bottle obviously impacted his career to a severe degree.
Posted June 5, 2014 3:45 pm
Who CARES about all these issues boxers have! fact is that Pavlik had the MW title when Martinez took him out and Hopkins at 44 taking his 0 was no joke… Duran and Chavez Sr partied too but they kicked AZZ in the ring, I am NOT gonna ding Pavliks opponent for what he may or may not have been doing outside the ring…. On the night o the bout he got dealt with…
Posted June 5, 2014 3:06 pm
Pavlik was a drunkard long before Martiniez and Hopkins got a hold of him. There were posters from Youngstown on here who talked about it before then. They said it was common to see him propping up the bar drunk as as skunk and getting himself into trouble. He got himself arrested for punching an off-duty cop who was moonlighting as a bouncer after he’d tried to throw him and some of his buddies out for causing trouble. That was back in 06.Posted June 5, 2014 4:53 pm
and will lose royally!Posted June 5, 2014 4:52 pm
he’ll go down again the next time he takes a decent shot.Posted June 5, 2014 4:35 pm
In the post klitchko period the titles may well be passed around a number of fighters and Price MAY be one of those. But , IMHO, at this stage I would think it highly unlikelyPosted June 5, 2014 4:32 pm
Wlad got a whoopin a few times earler on in his career theres no reason why Price cant up his game an become a champ.Posted June 5, 2014 3:57 pm
Bummer.. Who has Price beaten?? LOLPosted June 5, 2014 3:55 pm
Price= a weak-chinned prospect with power who fights tough competition and loses.
Wilder= a weak-chinned prospect with power who fights only cans. And KO’s Urrbodyy.
Boxing fans= snake oil consumers who are impressed by voodoo and hype.
Boxing promoters= businessmen taking advantage of a gullible fanbase.
Boxing ruling bodies= corrupt politicians selling rankings and helping fighters dodge tough opponents.
There is no proof whatsoever that Wilder is better than Price, yet one is a bum, and the other is the number 1 contender…Posted June 5, 2014 3:54 pm
A year from now he might be ready for Tyson Fury. Maybe not. Or maybe he’ll finally be ready for Tony Thompson. And maybe not.
But Klitschko? What are they smoking?Posted June 5, 2014 3:15 pm
David Price is destined for great things. Unlike that bum Klitschko, who’s who beaten? That bum Haye? Don’t make me laugh, he’s just a bum! Who’s he beaten? That bum Barrett? Don’t make me laugh, he’s just a bum! Who’s he beaten etc, etc, etc…Posted June 5, 2014 3:07 pm

yes the hw circus is back in town.Posted June 5, 2014 2:18 pm
Mrs Klitschco maybePosted June 5, 2014 2:17 pm
Price probably couldn’t even clean the hair out of shower trap, let alone pebble-dash a motorbike. As for building a marzipan castle and filling it with unicorns – no chance! He’s lost it! He should get help. He makes no sense.Posted June 5, 2014 2:13 pm
WHAT, Tyson Fury isn’t a FARCE? He’s a HYPE job then. 0 skills. He does a poor man’s rendition of Klit’s jab and grab… Jab and hold…. jab and push down…. No Skills.Posted June 5, 2014 1:58 pm
Tommy Brooks does not have Price ‘ s interest at hart. Price belongs outside the ring & not inside it. Isn’t the last 2 defeats enough of an eye opener?Posted June 5, 2014 1:57 pm
St Vitus Dance
Does this mean that Price will actually have a 6’7″ heavyweight JAB instead of a measuring stick for his right hand?Posted June 5, 2014 1:18 pm
The full headline should read “Tommy Brooks: This time next year David Price will be ready for Klitschko [to be ktfo’d again]”. And lay off that KoolAid, Tommy!Posted June 5, 2014 12:51 pm
Kato, you imbecile! Stop talking on boxing message boards and get back to my apartment for our weekly session, you irresponsible nincompoop! I will teach you a hard lesson, Monsieur, my little Chinese helper!!Posted June 5, 2014 12:26 pm
I doubt it…. But Price needs to take out FURY first. Fury is ranked and haven’t fought any1. He’s a big loud mouth with no skills, but somehow through careful match making.. he’s ranked in the top 10 heavyweight…
Pulev couldnt even smoke out thompson. Stop.Posted June 5, 2014 11:31 am

Price will be READY to get KNOCKED out by Klitschko this guy cannot get by a 41 year old Klits sparring partner his reputation has been sullied… What a ridiculous boast in light of Prices having been taken 2x by Tony ThompsonPosted June 5, 2014 9:32 am
I really like Price, and he can still, hopefully, make a lot of money, but he is so vulnerable. I don’t see him as being a factor at the top level. Again, I hope he makes some big pay checks, and I hope he has a few upset wins in him. Not everyone gets to be champion, but that is not the only measure of success.Posted June 5, 2014 9:09 am
rod, agreedPosted June 5, 2014 9:02 am

He’ll be ready gor wlad in one year. They didn’t say they’d win. They’ll be ready for a pay day.Posted June 5, 2014 8:56 am
That’s one funny headline lolPosted June 5, 2014 8:52 am
I had high hopes for price. Losing twice to Thompson was terrible and he looked terrible in his last fight. Very stiff very uncoordinated but his massive punch ended up hitting the target. That will not save him against a skilled heavy. I think price is similar to richard towers, they are tall awkward and hit hard but when they go up against anther guy around their size or a skilled heavy they will be in deep water. Saying that price is doing the right thing. He is working with a guy who knows heavyweight boxing. He his giving it his best chance of success.Posted June 5, 2014 8:46 am
Price and Wilder would be a fun fight. At this point, low risk for Wilder, but then again Wilder never fought Thompson.Posted June 5, 2014 8:45 am
the only thing worse than watching a hw fight in germany is seeing david price doing the funky chicken.Posted June 5, 2014 8:36 am
Even if Emanuel Steward was able to crawl out of his grave, he could not help Price. Price is a marked man. Everyone is going for that chin.Posted June 5, 2014 8:35 am
For my money Price isn’t quite ready for Wlad yet. He needs a couple more fights first and then his inevitable rise to undisputed champ and p4p no.1 will come.Posted June 5, 2014 8:19 am
He’s clearly beyond binmen class now – he should step up and face some taxi drivers.Posted June 5, 2014 8:17 am
Flattened by TT and then beat up a couple of binmen….Posted June 5, 2014 7:54 am
Box tra it is certainly very prophetic of you to predict price defeating vlad one year out. It allows one the freedom to swap and change and adjust the prophecy multitudinous times between know and then, such grasshopperish bring your forte, in fact your pedigree. Wise prophet you are.Posted June 5, 2014 7:51 am

I’ve seen crazier things happenPosted June 5, 2014 7:14 am
They need to find guys that will give him rounds they should organise a fight with Maddalone or even Firtha someone tough as old boots just for rounds its no good sparking Euro level guys in 2-3 rounds there’s no experience in that. I like Price and hope Brooks can do something good with him but being ready to fight Klitschko next year is a bit of a silly thing to say at this point in time.Posted June 5, 2014 6:59 am
Was it inexperience that made his visit the deck again Ondrej Pala too? Chinny as chinny can be, I’m afraid, and every halfway-decent opponent will know it.Posted June 5, 2014 6:56 am
im a price fan but I doubt whether he will survive a meeting with vlad…Posted June 5, 2014 6:40 am
Ha Ha Ha
THIS TIME NEXT year Vitali KLITSCHKO can come out of retirement without even having stepped into a boxing gym or laced up a boxing glove and smash David Price to pieces. Wladimir will beat Pricey on just the jab alone before laying him out whenever he feels like it!
When Price was unbeaten I tried to write on here on numerous occasions, but was always blocked that Price’s body shape was all wrong – he is carrying huge muscle mass on his upper back and shoulders – which needs to be tapered away… His lower back and legs can’t compensate for this adequately.
Price paws and fences with his non-existent jab and he bunny hops around the ring, whilst standing up tall with his chin in the air. Out of all the heavies Britain has produced Price is technically the poorest I’ve seen. But, funnily enough, he is possibly the best finisher…
Pricey is a great bloke and quite a knowledgeable guy outside the ring, but he needs light years of work inside it. His last fight was almost as big a joke as NATHAN Cleverly’s!
Right now I would say Fury knocks him out on one week’s notice…. That would be a fat and out of shape Fury!Posted June 5, 2014 6:19 am
Indeed it seems far fetched for price to eradicate his flaws to take on big bad vlad next year. However, vlad himself is evidence that such monumental tasks are not impossible.
Bahahahahahahaha!Posted June 5, 2014 6:10 am

he won’t be near ready for Vlad in one year. he has yet to show if he’s able to improve his speed and defence. all this big talk is just it a big talk. let’s see if they can back it up.Posted June 5, 2014 5:22 am
