Cottos tight spandex painted on pants during training made me all tingly inside.. Ay Chihuahua..Posted June 2, 2014 2:40 pm
TUMBO Orale Carnal! Well, Martinez is the obvious favorite and well should be. Cotto will have to have the perfect strategy and follow it perfectly as well. If we review Sergio’s last 4 fights, especially his last one, he hasn’t looked all that great, with the exception of maybe the Chavez Jr fight. But how good had Chavez Jr looked since then himself? Two wins, one very controversial win over an often beatable Brian Vera. Maybe I might be giving Sergio too much credit for that Chavez Jr win as well. Anyway, like I once said, IF Cotto happens to win will most say his skills had nothing to do with it because Martinez is damaged goods? But what IF Chavez Jr would’ve beaten Sergio? Would’ve it been because he’s that great? Even when we consider his showings vs the C+ / B- Vera? Anyway, a Martinez win won’t surprise me, although it won’t make me happy all. LOL! Martinez will win . . . IF he’s been put back together again. whatever version of Martinez that shows up for Cotto is rebuilt. following long rest and healing, which he needed. if he’s fully recovered, even if just for one fight, he convincingly defeats Cotto. if he’s either not recovered and/or rusty, Cotto’s got a chance to catch a stationary Martinez. poised to be Socked and Dropped. that would be some spectacle(?). what’s most likely is that Cotto is unable to get underneath Martinez’s guard and is consistently tagged by Martinez power-shots. i anticipate that Martinez will come out aggressive. probing for mental or physical disadvantages he can exploit with Power. IMO, Cotto is nothing but a puffed-up welter to Martinez and Sergio is going to establish that persuasive tone early and often. i don’t see Cotto hanging with that for 10 rounds. a healthy Martinez TKOs a healthy but undersized and outgunned Cotto. otherwise, i still give Martinez the edge. Cotto’s not in pristine condition himself.Posted May 30, 2014 8:32 pm
I know two things about this fight. One Martinez is the strongest bigger man in the ring. Two- Martinez will be facing hands speed and combinations that he has never seen in a middle weight fight. Which one will prevail? I don’t know.Posted May 30, 2014 1:24 pm

Roach must have brought bigger, taller, stronger, faster, and slicker southpaws for Cotto to spar than Marvelous Marvin Somodio… He sucks big time as a sparring partner.
How about slickster Austin Trout???. He weighs into the ring a lot heavier than Martinez.Posted May 30, 2014 3:30 am
Cotto deserves sh!t… He thinks Martinez is on his last legs. His knees are shot. He’s an old man.
Most think Martinez lost his last fight to the unknown Murray. Cotto is like a vulture circling a carcass.Posted May 30, 2014 3:28 am

Cotto, to me, has a heart of a lion and a fighter’s spirit, but what I’ve always been critical of was him in his younger years., When he fought Pacquio, his training camp looked more like a circus or carnival and his , then trainer, had no idea what the hell he was doing. Then, several years later, and after taking a horrific beating at the hands of Pacquio, he changed trainers. SMART MOVE, but perhaps a bit too late, he should have done it years earlier. Now, past his prime, he’s fighting for some glory and honor but lacks what he once had, YOUTH and HUNGER.. Sorry to say , he’s past his prime… but I’m still pulling for him and praying for a miracle… Martinez is a boxing wizard ….In short, it doesn’t look good, but they said the same about The Cinderella Man, James Braddock who became heavyweight champ and beat Max Baer … Boxingdictionary.com …”The Language of the ring “Posted May 29, 2014 7:09 pm
