largo – So much for your prediction LOL. Nonito made this cat look like a bum.

Donaire proved he’s TOO fast and TOO powerful…all these fighters are confident they can beat him, UNTIL they’re actually in front of him, then they become turtles who are afraid to stick their heads out. Donaire made it look EASY!!! No one at 122lbs can beat him, even that amateur Rigo.

Hopefully a Rigondeaux fight can now happen. I think the build up has now been made to a viable fight (hopefully not a PPV though).

Thanks, Kidney…this is a toss up fight, contrary to popular belief.

You could be right about this one. Enjoy the fights, brother!!

Excellently written article. However, i may be one of only a few that sees NIshioka as more than an opponent to solidify Nonito’s claims to greatness; on the contrary, Toshiaki is out to make a statement of his own and has more than enough speedy guile to befuddle the Filipino. I think the Japanese warrior will pull out a gutsy performance tonight and finally get the props he deserves. If Nonito does stop him then i will give him all the respect in the world. Can’t wait.

Thanks for reading, Tark…is it just my prediction you disagree with or is it something I overlooked while doing my diligence?

Because I usually don’t put very much thought into my predicitions and view them solely as entertainment?

I’d like to get your feedback on my analysis of the two fighters.

Thanks, brother.

I agree with some of Herron’s analysis but I don’t see a KO. Donaire UD 12… Although I’m picking Donaire I don’t particuarly like the 5 to 1 odds favoring Donaire so I’m taking a pass. I wouldn’t be shocked to see a split verdict or even an upset win by Nishioka, but that will be tough in Carson CA. If Nonito is going to end his “experimentation” and get a KO he’ll have to step on the gas early and keep the pedal to the floor. As you move up from flyweight to featherweight it gets more and more difficult to smash opponents into submission, but It would be a tremendous boost for Donaire to get a stoppage over TN so I believe he plans to try.

Nonito is over-rated & has made his reputation feeding on smaller foes; If Nishioka is able to avoid the counter-hook-made his homework-he should win because Nonito gets frustrated & becomes an ordinary fighter…
