Wow, and I bet he would KO Eric Martel Bahoeli in the 5th or 6th round! Congratulations Lucas Brown for your victory and your conqering of the Commonwealth heavyweight championship.
Nice achivment to be the 1st Australian born heavyweight fighter to win the title belt in incredible 122 years!
Now bigger fights will be a head of you!Posted April 27, 2014 5:39 pm
Got to admit Brown has sort of won me over, big heart for sure, and a willingness to learn.
Ideally, I’d like him to lose a stone, and and sharpen up a bit. Regardless of this he seems like a nice guy and believe he can definately go further.Posted April 27, 2014 5:22 pm

Joseph Parker is without doubt the future of Antipodean H/W Boxing, but needs more time to mature. Hopefully Big Daddy get’s a voluntary Commonwealth title defence in Australia before hitting the big time.Posted April 27, 2014 4:21 pm
Browne is an exciting fighter but has no chance against the Furys, Wilders and Pulevs of the division. I would like to see Browne vs Chisora as that would be an excellent fight.Posted April 27, 2014 2:15 pm
Fury would probably outbox Browne, the same way he did Chisora.
Fury has the height, reach, quickness, and stamina to totally outclass Browne.
It would be a sparring session at best.
Bohoeli is big, strong, and a good puncher- but he has bad punch resistance
People are reading too much into this stoppage.
A fight with David Price is what Browne should be begging for.
Price is clumsy, limited boxing skill, a big name, and weak punch resistance.
He is tailor made for Lucas.Posted April 27, 2014 12:23 pm
Not sure I agree with that . .
the klitschko brothers have made the last 10 years in the heavyweight the greatest era ever.Posted April 27, 2014 8:44 am

this hw boxing today is now beyond laughable.Posted April 27, 2014 6:02 am
Congrats Browne! I’m glad they showed the fight here in Australia on Eurosport channel but pissed off that no News programs had a story about it. Browne fought his heart out more than Leapai did against Klitschko.Posted April 27, 2014 6:02 am
Browne would crush Fury.. He has both of Fury’s weaknesses, size and ko power.Posted April 27, 2014 5:42 am
Lucas Brown v Shannon Briggs in Melbourne would do well
Lepai could fight Kiwi Parker on the undercardPosted April 27, 2014 4:15 am
i think Audley would give him a great fightPosted April 27, 2014 3:23 am
Agree Mick, It’s a logical step for both.Posted April 27, 2014 3:01 am

I see Alex Leapai as Big Daddy’s 1st challenger for the Commonwealth title.Posted April 27, 2014 2:59 am
Personally, I would like to see Lucas fight Wilder, Mansour, or Price.
Wilder would be the easiest, most likely..Posted April 27, 2014 2:09 am
Browne is a beast and a nice guy. He is very honest with where he is at world wide. He understands his weaknesses and strengths. I think Browne would be a great gate keeper, testing any guy who needs to get rounds under their belt and any guys with suspect chins that are buying their way to a title shot. Yep Wilder and Fury that’s you 2 frauds.Posted April 27, 2014 12:22 am
