Maidana got no style to beat fraud Floyd . Fraud has it hit and run.Posted April 19, 2014 7:24 am
stupidest thing everPosted April 19, 2014 6:29 am
I like the post about future fights and I like the fight with Packman/Maidana or Canelo/Maidana and as I’ve said many times, I like Maidana but NOt in this fight but after Mayweather retires, he and Canelo will fight it out but i can’t see anyone beating Canelo in a few years .. whoever is managing him is doing a GREAT job and I know, with any doubt he will kick Lara’s ass when they meet. Now, ladies and gentlemen, that’s going to be a GREAT fight but will show the greatest of Canelo. Also what I’d like to see is a Packman/Porter fight, that would also be a great, awesome fight and a fight in which Porter would retire Packman… NO DOUBT AT ALL ABOUT THAT… Boxingdictionary.com … “The Langauge of the Ring aka Sweet Science Dictioanry”Posted April 18, 2014 8:45 pm
Gayweather on points he cant ko anyone anymore.Posted April 18, 2014 3:37 pm
This story makes no sense. Maidana has merely a puncher’s chance, nobody says his style is what will beat Floyd. Is the point of this story simply to give a counter-intuitive POV?Posted April 18, 2014 2:06 pm
See Floyd was retired 3-1/2 years when PAC was fighting the bunch of undefeated Mexicans of top rank side. Two fight per year. That why PAC has 18 fight total over Floyd,
And pac later He has gotten over the hard 154. Margarito, or the Mosley or cotto ,cotley and last was he lost to Marquez, but Bradley beat Marquez and took his belt, so Bradley was top dog, but PAC took that away from him.
its Floyd job to beat the best Of GBP fighters, not pac job.
Come on Floyd, PAC waiting for a call, call him and let’s see what you can do, aren’t you the best of GBP fighter? Top rank side has Been decided PAC over Bradley and Marquez Guess because you got the 154 belt. We can’t call you the top dog of GBP yet, there Lara at 154lb that a slugger/ boxer like Bradley, porter, PAC .
Forgot you are afraid of fast slugger/boxer that Lara and avoid then like the plague. Maybe Lara is the best top dog of GBP fighters. Who knows.Posted April 18, 2014 12:57 pm
I ain’t fighting Manny, suckas! I gotta keep my cosmetic 0. Y’all tryna get me beat or somethin’?!?Posted April 18, 2014 12:55 pm
Joke.Posted April 18, 2014 11:55 am
Poor pactards Manny has a style to beat Floyd? When Marquez and 4 others dropped Manny? I guess the five guys where better than Floyd? Lara and Manny have a style to beat Floyd? When 46 others couldnt do it? What a joke Lara sparred at MW guy where he got his ass beat. And Manny got KTFO by a 40 year old flat footed Marquez. Arums strategy is too hold out on letting Manny fight Floyd as long as possible to try and work levergave so that he can get his lions share but it hasnt worked to date Floyd made 300 illion since leaving Arum and top rape. Once again haters and pactards call for Manny who is broke and needs Floyd.Posted April 18, 2014 11:52 am
It’s Me, Ernie
He doesn’t have the power? That’s his main quality, another crap article…Posted April 18, 2014 11:45 am
Pac-Maidana would be awesome. Sadly, Arum won’t allow it. Canelo-Pac would make tons of money. Unfortunately, Arum would never even consider it.
Arum is contemplating Pac-Rios II. LOL.Posted April 18, 2014 11:41 am
Maidana has less than -0- chance.Posted April 18, 2014 9:56 am
Whoever thought Canelo Alvarez would beat Floyd was reaching, or thinking wishfully. Never thought he was ready…Maidana is a fine sturdy fighter, full of heart, shown improvement with experience in world class, can punch etc, but he’s a little one- paced and slow afoot to actually beat Floyd who has great footwork, balance and anticipation. Someone who can take FMJ out of his comfort zone has a chance to beat May but I doubt it’s MM. Manny Pacquiao would have a better chance even today. Marcos HAS a small window to win but a Floyd UD is likely in a better fight than the Canelo one.Posted April 18, 2014 9:41 am
Looking at this photo will be how Maidana fights in the ring….COMPLETELY WIDE OPEN FOR COUNTER SHOTS!!! Fraud knows this, that’s why he picked Maidana….Easy counter punching win for Fraud…. Did I mention BORING!Posted April 18, 2014 9:12 am
I like Maidana, but as I knew and stated publicly that Buster Douglas could beat Mike Tyson (And what were the odds on that fight?), I simply cannot entertain the idea that Maidana can beat Floyd. The best that I can hope for is a more competitive fight than the Mayweather/Canelo fight.Posted April 18, 2014 8:42 am
v town vet…
Floyd’s not going to ko elchino….if it’s close….dont be surprised if the judge s”Manny vs bradley 1 money may lolPosted April 18, 2014 8:23 am
No he doesnt this will one sided like all FMJ fights.Posted April 18, 2014 2:46 am
enough already says.., “Floyd is too smart for him or anyone esle.”
How would we know that??? Since he hasn’t fought Lara or Pacquiao you don’t know how smart he would be in there.Posted April 18, 2014 1:58 am
This writer for ESB is garbage, Miadana doest have power? Hell he has plenty of power thats not the problem. Floyd is too smart for him or anyone esle. Its funny how before he fights these guys they had a style to beat him everyone from Oscar to Miadana and all got they ass beat, They said Canelo would be is toughest fight yeah right? And as soon as he beats these guys they were cherry picked. Heavy is the head that wears the crown I guess haters come with the territory Miadana can KO anyone with both hands but he is slow Floyd will simply mix it up with him a bit to keep the crowd excited some then sit back make him miss and counter all fight like he does everyone esle bring on Manny already so he can get his ass kicked…Posted April 18, 2014 12:19 am
I have to disagree with people who think Maidana will lose based on his performances vs Khan/Alexander/Morales.
And HECDOG… if Pacquiao is the G.O.A.T., why did he walk away from a 50/50 split, choice of gloves, choice of ring-size, and 10 million dollar per pound penalty fight, all of which Mayweather agreed to, over a few drops of blood with a 14 days-out-cut-off-date(Pac’s camp wanted the cutoff date at 21 days) back at the beginning of 2010? I don’t blame Mayweather for moving the goal-post since then… first to a 60/40 split, then to a 40-million dollar flat-fee to Top Rank for the fight.
etumbi etumbo etumba
This is definitely a mismatch on the making. Don’t waste time buying on it… BOYCOTT is the right thing to do.Posted April 17, 2014 8:39 pm
Jonn E. JaGozza
I like Canelo and Canelo has a few things over Maidana like age and heart but Canelo said after his fight with Mayweather
queens berry??? This writer is an idiot. Come on ESB, scrutinize these writers a little more closely….This site is getting watered down with half-ass articles written by guys who are not true students of the game. And to correct this fool even further; Maidana is about as predictable as they come. No mystery in his attack. Maidana is a decent fighter, but Floyd will brutalize him. Floyd’s body punching is pure precision. Maidana will be folded by the eighth round! Ike outPosted April 17, 2014 7:37 pm
This is Alexander – Maidana all over again. They could use some originality for this re-run.Posted April 17, 2014 7:17 pm
Maidana does have power…but is to crude for a fighter like Mayweather!!!Posted April 17, 2014 7:13 pm
Manny Pacquiao is clearly the greatest fighter in the history of boxing. He has accomplished more than any boxer in history, His physical boxing skills, abilities and talent can be matched by no one. He has carried and dominated this beautiful sport for over 10 years. His convincing, spectacular victory of Timothy Bradley last weekend closed the door on who was the better fighter. Manny Pacquiao has no more questions left to answer. The vast majority of boxing fans come to the same conclusion as I do. There has never been a better fighter that fought all challengers regardless of weight class, and brought more excitement to boxing than Manny Pacquiao. Boxing was in a frenzy every time Manny Pacquiao entered the squared circle to take on, and beat yet another world class fighter. He is the number UNO P4P fighter today. His tax issues are being resolved, and he will not be in need of money. His future is secure, trust me. He has so many avenues outside of boxing to make a living from. His endorsement deals are very rewarding financially. He is the most sought after person in the world today. His influence in society continues to make it’s way into every stitch of society. Manny Pacquiao is more than just a hero to everyone, he’s a blanket that clothes peoples hearts. Manny Pacquiao has an aura about him that speaks of love, respect and humility. Manny is a fighter that puts his heart and soul into each fight and asks for nothing in return. He continues to have the discipline and honor he’s always had for the sport of boxing. Manny Pacquaio is a good man in a bad sport. Corruption is always around the corner waiting to get him, but he is the only fighter I can recall that keeps his integrity and loyalty to his friends, family and those that gave him the opportunity to make a living. This is a true and genuine man that will stand up for what’s right in the face of death. We will see the greatest fighter in history fight again. He doesn’t need the arrogant, selfish, materialistic, money hungry Floyd Mayweather. He doesn’t need whining, crying, cheating, lying Juan Manuel Marquez. They need him. Manny Pacquiao has graced us with his presence for many years. I will send a letter asking congress and president Obama to have a day of celebration for Manny Pacquiao once he calls it a day. Manny Pacquiao will break a lot of hearts, and the world must create more oceans so that the tears of Manny Pacquiao will fill them up once he’s retired. Trust me, there will never be another Manny Pacquiao. And also trust me when i say that Manny Pacquiao has a little more work to finish. Manny is the best ever!Posted April 17, 2014 7:02 pm
Pac picks on punching bags & road kills to look good.Posted April 17, 2014 6:52 pm

Headlines on ESB need a lot of work.Posted April 17, 2014 6:42 pm
They’ve been trying to rip Floyd off ever since he began his showtime deal.
No he dont. Hell even Alexander schooled him.Posted April 17, 2014 6:36 pm
Maidana has zero chance. He offers absolutely nothing more than toughness and wild punches. Mayweather picked this one dimensional fighter to look good, and that’s all. Don’t be fooled.Posted April 17, 2014 6:16 pm
Floyd has dealt with many a puncher…I think Madiana deserves the fight, he’s on a roll. This fight is happening at the right time 4 Madaina. I still don’t think it will help him but he’s ready.Posted April 17, 2014 6:04 pm
Its sad seeing money mayweather flash all your money you give to him for his glorified sparring sessionPosted April 17, 2014 5:42 pm
FARCE FIGHT, AND YET THE DUMB BRAIN WASHED WILL PAY $70 FOR A SAPRRING SESSION..ITS SAD THAT HUMAN BEINGS ARE THIS DUMBPosted April 17, 2014 5:41 pm
This fight is a joke.Posted April 17, 2014 5:36 pm
Don’t care. Not putting another penny of my money into Mayweather’s pocketPosted April 17, 2014 5:36 pm
Man, I swear. Some people are just HOPING and WISHING Mayweather will lose. Do you really think he’s gonna just stand there and let slow ass, prodding Chino hit him like he did Broner? Puh-leaazzzee!!! And if he does so happen to get hit, like he won’t make any adjustments? GTeffOH! Only way I see Money losing in the next few years is if the judges blatantly rob him. Especially if he gets to 48-0. SOME people don’t wanna see that, yanno…They already tried to get him in the Canelo fight.Posted April 17, 2014 5:25 pm
You all sound funny. Wishful thinking. Maidana does have power but he is not nearly fast enough to catch Mayweather. Mayweather has a tough defense. Good luck chino with denting that defense. Mayweather by a WIDE UD.Posted April 17, 2014 5:22 pm
12345678- yea agree. Mayweather by a WIDE UD.Posted April 17, 2014 5:20 pm
Broner did not belong at welterweight that is why Maidana had his way with him. Mayweather is no Broner. Mayweather will walk through Maidana and render him impotent like what Devon Alexander did to him. Watch the Alexander Maidana fight and you will find out for yourselves.Posted April 17, 2014 5:04 pm
he doesn’t have the power? gtfoh yes he does. that’s his best attribute going into this one.Posted April 17, 2014 4:57 pm
It takes only punch to end a fight ..amd 12rounds its a long way to gp against a fighter like el chino…without expecting not tp get hit…..vamos mi CHINO!!!!!!!!!!!!!Posted April 17, 2014 4:51 pm
