Pac is indeed great! he is in the history books…. do i think he juiced? YES!!!! But he has the best foot work in all of boxing, the most stamina, and punches with power, and acuracy. the roids cant do that for him, those are natural gifts hes allways had! Cotto gave Mayweather the best fight! even better than Oscar. And if Zab wouldve stayed focused he would’ve beaten Floyd (by the way that was a knock down!) i think Mayweather is the best defensive boxer of all time along with James Toney but he ducks alot!Posted March 12, 2014 12:52 pm
Marcos Maidana is not worthy of a fight with Mayweather! HE lost to Devon Alexander, and Amir Khan convincingly. he beat a light weight that he should’ve beat in Adrian Broner. he has no foot work, no real technique besides aggression and stalk with hard haymakers. though his combos are getting better and not as wild he dropped Broner with the same wild over hand right which will not work with Mayweather. he is to slow, comes in face first, takes to many punches (though he has a good jab) and can be hurt. This match up is made out of pure hype. He’s afraid of Pac Man period, point blank!!!!Posted March 12, 2014 12:40 pm

The world awaits the great Manny Pacquiao what a dud, we all heard the talk of how the Rios fight would be huge not. Manny couldn’t even drop a blown up lightweight punching bag. Arum sold you loyal tards on the BS fight Rios was a bum hell anyone would have looked good against him. I beat if Manny took a tune up with Ruslan he would have got his ass smoked. Manny will be back on the juice for the Bradley fight that’s why he stayed overseas to avoid the proper testing this fkcer will he juiced to the gills. No way does a guy jump five weight classes and gain power and speed it happened never will and walk away from the biggest fight of his life over a blood test….Posted March 11, 2014 3:07 am

@Havoc, not me! I happen to love pure boxing, evading punches, countering, etc. All the defensive attributes Manny Pacquiao does not have. Manny Pacquiao’s has arrived and the song echoing through Los Angeles is none other than “The Champ is here,” “The champ is here.” The City has come alive since the news of Manny’s presence was broadcast on every City, State and Federal radio and TV station. The boxing world becomes as unsettled as a restless ocean before the fury of the hurricane begins. Manny Pacquiao is the hurricane ready to unleash a myriad of punishment on a man they call “Dessert Storm.” This will be a fight of redemption for boxing’s Super Star, Manny Pacquiao. It’s been two years since Manny Pacquiao was clearly of a victory against Timothy Bradley. Bradley himself said on the HBO post fight broadcast that he had to go home and see the replay to make sure that he won. Regardless, the moment of truth is coming soon, and the fighting congressman of the Philippines is in prime shape as never before. This fight will end by knockout at the hands of Manny Pacquiao. I watched Bradley fight both Provodnikov and Marquez. He was all but out and should have received a loss in the Provodnikov fight, and he did well against Marquez. Unfortunately for Bradley, he can’t out box Manny and he can’t out fight Manny. He desperately wants to prove that the first fight was not a fluke and his bad performance was due to two broken ankles, feet, legs, back and every other part of his body. This time around, Manny will catch Bradley with right uppercuts, and will end matter with the devastating straight left hand. Bradley will be hurt early, and the fight may not last 6 rounds. After the fight is over and Manny Pacquiao has won convincingly, I believe the time has come to allocate a mountain and begin sculpturing a Mount Pacquiao similar to Mount Rushmore. I realize there is a quantum leap from boxing champion to Mount Pacquiao, Manny’s impact on the wold’s economy and general better overall living cannot be denied. The stars of entertainment and sports will be ringside as usual. Ashanti, the world renown signing artist has already been penciled in to sing the National Anthem by Manny Pacquiao himself. Food from the Philippines is currently being selected and transferred over to one of Manny’s favorite restaurants as we speak. The man with a personal postage stamp is a man of importance. A doer that is always under a microscope. He puts himself out there because he is transparent and wants everyone to see he is what he is. A man full of honesty, respect, fairness, humility and courage. Manny Pacquiao’s fan base throughout the world is made up of every single culture. He transcends sports. I have never witnessed such pandemonium and excitement leading up to a championship battle in any sport. Please take in all that is happening leading up to this fight for we will never witness a legend like Manny Pacquiao ever again. The legend of Manny Pacquiao is back. Manny is the best, trust me.Posted March 10, 2014 1:37 pm

Gentlemen, no need for harsh verbal attacks. Listen, Manny Pacquiao may not be your favorite fighter, but no one can disagree that he is boxing’s most electrifying, pure fighter and arguably the greatest fighter to have ever put on a pair of gloves. He won 8 titles, it’s in the record books, so you need to argue with them. Manny’s accomplishments inside and outside boxing are too numerous to count, but everyone must accept that he is an amazing prize fighter that never backed down from anyone. His arrival in Los Angeles I heard was similar to Elvis Presely coming to town. What’s most amazing about Manny Pacquiao, and why I admire and respect him so much is because of what he came through to get where he’s at today. We all know that he was invited to the White House by the leader of our Country, President Obama. We know that he is a respected and intelligent Congressman. This all accomplished by a 5ft 6 inch Little Big Man with no education, money and a young man that grew up in poverty with no hope. Someone please name me another boxer that has accomplished so much. There is no one else. Why? Because only he was chosen to grasp the world’s attention. Manny Pacquiao will one day become President of the Phillipines, and many of you will continue to doubt this man’s accomplishments. Trust me, Manny is the best!Posted March 9, 2014 10:10 pm
Octavius there is no cold war Golden boy has all the top guys. Top rape has Manny and Bradley that’s it Arum tries his best to work leverage but the fool has none. But they will never get a shot because of they greedy Jew master. Oscar left Arum, Floyd left and Cotto left. All have fought one another and gone on to have great careers. Manny and Tiny Tim need to wise up….Posted March 9, 2014 7:44 pm

Who needs who? Floyd legacy is already cemented he is already in the hall of fame? Manny is not. Nowhere in the history of the sport has a fighter moved up in five different weight classes and improved his speed and power. Guy move up all the time but usually they loose power. Manny is the only one. Floyd and people who know the game felt his weight gain wasn’t genuine he requested a blood test to prove he was clean. Manny agreed except for 4 days before the fight he claimed needles freak him out lol. But the fools has tattoos ok if you clean why would you turn down 40 million dollars and the biggest foght of your life? Floyd makes everyone who fights him take random blood test. ou same ass clown thought Marecheato was on the up and up and he almost killed cotto with plaster in his gloves. Boxing is corrupt, Manny is broke and he needs Floyd but he blew his shotPosted March 9, 2014 6:57 pm
Floyd said “I’m not scared of any opponent. I fight who I want to fight” What a joker ! Floyd was publicly humiliated by Pacquiao when Pac challenged him to be man enough and have the balls to fight him. What did we hear from Floyd? NADA. For 2 weeks, Floyd kept his mouth shut and goes into hiding. He’s afraid of the Pacman, coz Floyd knows he’ll lose and tarnished his zero loss card.
Hec dog what mob scene are you talking about the press conference was nothing spectacular for Manny. He already said he has to fight 10 more times to get out of debt how in the hell does he win ten more times? He top rank don’t have 2 good guys he could fight let alone 10. Manny is getting 20 million for the Bradley fight all of which will go to the IRS. Arum is pimping your boy like a hoe. Hec dog your post tell a man that is obsessed its one thing to like a fighter but you are gone you need help guy I just hope when Manny does get KTFO again the you wont throw yourself off a bridge its not that deep. Hell the Bradley fight wont even crack 1 million ppv. Not to mention he has Marquez 5 after that. No one is going to watch the same fight all over again…Posted March 9, 2014 4:55 pm

Manny Pacquiao created a mob scene as he arrived in Los Angeles to do final preparations for his fight against Timothy Bradley. The City appropriately called the “City of Angels” has welcomed a true Angel in Manny Pacquiao. For the next month, Los Angeles will turn execute new routes, build new roads and relocate law enforcement in order to serve and protect the ONLY 8 division Boxing Champion in history. This is what happens when a prominent figure such as Manny Pacquiao makes his entrance to any city in the world. There were more people at the airport waiting to see Manny Pacquiao than were at last night’s one sided beat down of Alfredo Angulo. There was practically no media at Floyd Mayweather’s laughable press conference to announce his fight against Maidana, another Angulo type fighter. The truth is that Manny Pacquiao rules boxing and has been doing so for the better part of 10 years. Why you ask? Because Manny never ducked any fighter. He has earned sincere respect from the boxing world as well as the world in general. His upcoming fight against Bradley will add to his PPV records, which he does all by himself. Manny doesn’t need additional under cards to be a success. Go to Las Vegas the week of the fight, and you will see a transformation like never before. They should just call Las Vegas Manny Pacquiao’s House. His appeal is measureless in terms of the positive impact he has on the economy and the well being of people. Everyone is at peace, happy, and people spend money. Manny Pacquiao is a type of emperor that transforms from a killer inside the ring to a kitten outside of it. Like all athletes, boxers careers all come to an end. Many have said that Manny’s career is close to ending, but they’re wrong. Manny is a special person that can do the impossible because of his unwavering faith. They say he hasn’t knocked out anyone in years. They say he was knocked out and will never recover, but he did more than that. he came out of the hands of death and put on display a magnificent display of boxing as he outclassed Brandon Rios. Manny put all doubts to rest as he electrified the crowd in Macau China with his extraordinary boxing performance for the ages. Manny is now in fight mode as he will capture the world’s attention and regain in stunning fashion yet another world title. Better yet, Manny is rumored to present another quality singing performance at another casino. The world belongs to Manny, and no one can stop him. Trust me, Manny beats them all from 147-160. Also, keep your eyes open for the much anticipated movie documentary “Manny.” This documentary will be a life changing experience. Manny is the best.Posted March 9, 2014 3:06 pm

Floyd Mayweather is a good fighter, but his legacy will always be tarnished no matter what he says. People that don’t even follow boxing much know that he avoided fighting Manny Pacquiao. Boxers all say the same thing. Why was Floyd afraid to fight Manny. Last night he tried selling a same caliber fight as canelo and Angulo to the public, and it’s not working. Hand picking only the fighters you want instead of taking on the best works for only so long. Floyd’s name will always be tainted because of one guy, Manny Pacquiao. Let’s forget all the excuses or reasons. Bottom line is if Floyd really wanted to fight Manny, he could have.Posted March 9, 2014 1:54 pm
Floyd is great, but he shoulda fought Manny…Posted March 9, 2014 1:28 pm
Floyd will go down as a great fighter and the greatest fighter of his generation. No matter how you slice it, those are just the facts.Posted March 9, 2014 1:12 pm
I pick mayweather by UD or KO, he could KO this guy because technically he will pick apart maidana. So this is just another fight where we already know the outcome. Mayweather is just in the game to make cash now, legacy? Well mayweather will go down in history as the biggest ducker of any really challenge in history but who cares right when your rich.Posted March 9, 2014 12:51 pm

Happy—Since you seem to know, why don’t you tell us. For sure we know Mosely, DLH and Cotto were past their prime. That cannot be denied. And that other little future HOF’r, who never fought at WW until he fought floyd, and where floyd STILL intentionally came in over the contracted weight, how anyone can give floyd accolades for this particular fight is anyone’s guess. Most Floyds fights are done for the purpose of perception, but anyone who has watched fights past and present are not blinded by this illusion Floyd lives by.Posted March 9, 2014 10:55 am
“Anon – when was Mayweathers prime?”
When you swallowed.Posted March 9, 2014 9:34 am
I firmly believe that the ”Prime Pacquio” would have beaten the ”Prime Mayweather”, although it would have been the toughest fight for Manny.
I wonder if people realize that if you take “fight time weights” and make it “same day weigh-ins” again, that Pac and May would have been in the same division before they fight was first purposed.
But anyway, if you take Floyd that fought at 140 and Pac that fought at 140, I got Floyd all day. Pac struggled mightly with JMM and Floyd in his 20’s, his true prime, down below 147, was awe inspiring for most of his fights. Pac had a better chance of beating the version of Floyd that was fighting at 147 like Freddie Roach said because Floyd was on the slow decline. His punch-out-put dropped, he was more inactive, he was a tad bit slower from head to toe, etc.Posted March 9, 2014 9:26 am
Anon – when was Mayweathers prime?
I think is absolute best physically (except for strength) was from 130-140 which were divisions he showed all around athletic ability, punch-out-put, stamina, aggression, etc.
At 147, he started off well but he altered his style and by the time he hit the big 30, he was really paying more attention to smarts than relying on his slowly declining physical abilities (athletic wise).Posted March 9, 2014 9:21 am

Happy boy….would any of those headed to the HOF by chance be past their prime when floyd fought them??????? and did any of those so called champions dominate and kept those titles more than 2 years? Were any of those “champions” elite fighters rated “p4p” when they fought floyd???Posted March 9, 2014 4:20 am
Broner is no WW and neither is maidana which just means, floyd is fighting another little guy which equals to a safe fight for him. For floyd, its business as usual.Posted March 9, 2014 4:15 am
“mans” world….. you must not be a boxing fan and think the only viable opponents today for floyd that can present him a challenge is maidana. Lets not get carried away now. Maidana is ok…but who did he beat?? Who the fk is broner, the man that barely got past malinaggi, is that all you got??? So some how in your little mind, a belt makes a champion?? Well, not really and not always. There are fighters who have no belt that can probably woop floyds ass but floyd knows better. Ignorance is not the best answer in selecting the best opponent, neither is using always using the race card of which so so many just love to use so conveniently without using logic and thought. Thurman is an interim champion who is available and MUCH better than Maidana, and I happen to like Maidana, but I’m also realistic. Porter is another champion at 147 who is better than Maidana and also ignored and with good reason. There is Kell Brooks who like Winky Wright….is being totally ignored. If you can see past the forest for the trees, then, I can’t help you with that. Floyd just made himself as clear as day….” I fight who I want to fight. I’m not forcing anyone to watch.” That about says is all you need to know about Fldyd’s supposed greatness and his modus operandi.Posted March 9, 2014 4:10 am
Who are the most talented welters Floyd is avoiding? Maidana won 4 in a row he deserves a shot the only other ones were Kahn who is 2 for 2 and Bradley or Manny who are signed with Arum who is a stale mate with GB. So that really leaves Maidana as the best viable options. Arum will never let his fight face Floyd…Posted March 9, 2014 3:12 am

I firmly believe that the ”Prime Pacquio” would have beaten the ”Prime Mayweather”, although it would have been the toughest fight for Manny.
We must never forget what Manny Pacquiao has done for the sport of boxing. He revived it as doctor revives those that have met death and were revived back to life. The sport was dead until Manny Pacquiao came on the scene. Fans around the world were somewhat worried after watching Manny lose to Ped Man Marquez. Those worries dissipated soon after watching Manny Pacquiao put on one of the greatest and most respected boxing clinics in recent memory. A boxing exhibition to be studied for centuries to come. Versatility, athleticism, pin point accuracy and total command of the ring made it a night to remember. All of this has led to the monumental fight against Timothy Bradley slated for April 12th at Manny Pacquiao’s second home, the MGM Grand, which he has been kind enough to rent to both Canelo Alvarez and Floyd Mayweather for their meaningless fights against limited one dimensional opposition. Manny Pacquio’s legacy towers over all past, present and current boxing champions. And I say this with true respect. The 8 division titles clearly hold Manny Pacquiao a few steps above the rest. He is the only fighter that brings violence and fear to there knees. A fighter that can become and ice cold machine intent on savagely hurting his opponent. And on the other hand, he’s a loving, caring, adored, respected honorable man that enjoys making this world a better place. Manny Pacquiao has arrived in Los Angeles. The celebration has begun. Manny is the best.Posted March 9, 2014 12:40 am

Love him, hate him, call him what you will, it makes no difference no Floyd Mayweather Jr. Whatever your creed is, whatever style of boxing you like Mayweather will always have his critics and anti-fans. Facts are he has fought big names and has beaten them all. We as fans have selective memories of the greats of the past. Not every fight was a classic, even the late great Arturo Gatti had some not so great fights but we remember the Wars he fought and the guts he showed. Mayweather at every weight class has dominated champions in winning their titles. In time Mayweather will be remembered as a great boxer. My thoughts are that even if he had fought and beaten Pacquiao someone somewhere would have some excuse or something negative to say about it. Floyd is boxing for the next 2 1/2 years. We should enjoy excellence while we can because when he’s gone we will miss Floyd Mayweather. Sorry Adrian Broner, you will never be Floyd Mayweather.Posted March 9, 2014 12:07 am

Why dont you all go outside and get some fresh air from time to time.Posted March 8, 2014 11:07 pm
