Absolutely, that’s why little floyd is fighting maidana. I like maidana, but he is going to lose. I will not spend another dime to watch mayweather in another easy fight, not one dime, and I am not alne.
read the latest Bleacher report about this fight, they are predicting low PPV numbers.Posted February 26, 2014 7:23 pm

Yes Amir, Floyd is ducking Julio Diaz too right? Man, Khan is absolutely insane, he needs a psychiatrist.Posted February 26, 2014 12:24 pm

Your wrong yet again MANSWORLD. Guerro did 1 mill or just less. Canelo did 2.2 mill. PAC v Bradley 2 will beat there first fight. He fought a no body in another country and did 450 on his own with no other draw. Pretty safe to say PAC is on the rise. Lets see if floyd can stay at his 2.2. Highly unlikelyPosted February 26, 2014 4:25 am
Hec dog please give me some of what you smoking that’s some good sht. I mean look at the numbers? Mannys first fight with Bradley did like 850,000 ppvs. Since he lost to Marquez his sales are less than half the Rios fight did 450,000 ppvs. Sorry guy Bradley simply is not a big enough name to do big numbers. Floyd Fought Canelo and did 3 million ppvs. Hell even when Floyd fought a nobody like guererro it did 1.5 million ppvs. So the Bradley rematch will somehow out do there fight fight? lol poor retard Manny needs bigger name fighters Marquez and Bradley over and over wont do it. Who will pay to see him fight the same guys? Hell he is already going to fight Marquez 5Posted February 26, 2014 3:59 am
teflon my friend, the world cares about Manny Pacquiao. What’s there not to like about this man. Just watch for yourself how Canelo vs Angulo and Floyd vs Maidana do numbers wise compared to Manny vs Bradley. Manny’s numbers are going to wipe them both out combined. Trust me on this. The top news of the day is about Manny Pacquiao. The long awaited Movie “MANNY” narrated by the great actor Liam Neeson is set to open in the Philippines on March 12th. I suggest everyone that comments on the ESB site view this inspirational documentary about the ONLY 8 division Boxing Champion in history. I truly believe this will be nominated for Documentary of the year. Manny Pacquiao is a living legend that astounded the sports world when he came on the scene. Today, he is widely considered the greatest fighter of all time. This highly anticipated documentary should be sensational and will open the eyes of those that have never taken the time to learn about this prize fighting warrior. Congratulations to Manny Pacquiao for adding another successful step in his already impressive life and career.Posted February 26, 2014 12:40 am
PEEJ do you have any proof Golovkin said he’d fight anyone from 154-175 please? I keep hearing this line but I’ve never seen and proof that it’s true.
I know he said he’d fight anyone from 154-168, but that was quite a while ago now and he already made it clear that his main priority is cleaning up at 160 first before he moves up, this was before Ward ”called him out” as well.Posted February 25, 2014 11:46 pm
Horrible, ridiculous article trying to convince smart boxing fans that Maidana is the best option for Mayweather. Once again, Floyd has HUGE advantages in speed, boxing skills, agility, athleticism, experience, reflexes, talent, defense, ring generalship and every aspect of boxing. Alexander beat Maidana fairly easy, Khan beat Maidana and hit him with everything conceivable. And some other unknown guy back in 2009 gave Maidana a boxing lesson. Now, tell me how on earth Maidana has any kind of chance to win this fight. All this after Mr. Coward Mayweather puts out some DUMB pole for his fans, and the fans pick Khan, and still Mayweather makes fools of them all as he goes the opposite way that his fans voted for. Mayweather is making a mockery of this wonderful sport. He has DUCKED everyone that posed a challenge to him. He has obviously ran, hid and left the country just to avoid Manny Pacquiao. This fight will not go the distance, and it will be a replay of Mayweather vs Baldomir or worse, Larry Holmes vs Randall ‘Tex” Cobb. This will follow the massacre of Canelo vs Angulo. These are fights that will see one fighter destroying their limited one dimensional opponents. These fights are not competitive in the least. Once again, the 80′s and 90′s offered great competitive fights pitting the top contenders or champions fighting each other. Today, we have Floyd Mayweather as the model of ducking opposition, lying to his fans, and cherry picking those fights that present no challenge to him due to old age, catch weights, physically drained opponents, one dimensional or inexperience. Fans have been clamoring for Mayweather to fight Manny Pacquiao. He cowardly continues to run. The quality Cuban Erislandy Lara. He doesn’t even think about. GGG, forget about it. In his earlier days,he ran from Kostya Tyzu, Shane Mosely, Oscar De La Hoya, Paul Williams and many others. Floyd Mayweather made some good choices picking his management team. He has made a lot of money. He remains unbeaten in the record books even though he lost to Castillo and an old Oscar De La Hoya. He still is looked at as the DUCKER, DODGER, AVOIDER and most importantly, the man that is plain scared of fighting Manny Pacquiao. Floyd Mayweather will not another easy win to earn another padded victory over a tough, but very limited Marcos Maidana. And the only way these types of lower level fights will stop will be when fans stop buying these horrible PPV fights. The under card will undoubtedly be the Main Event. That’s how Haymon and company seem try to convince fans to pay ridiculous amounts of money for these PPV. Don’t buy this PPV if you’re smart. Floyd already had his laugh as he went the opposite way that his fans voted for. Don’t think for a second he won’t be laughing when you pay for next PPV.Posted February 25, 2014 9:58 pm

Pactards are the laughing stock of boxing
Why do you keep posting this BS, over and over. We got it. I know how pleased with yourself you are for putting this BS together, but give us a break.Posted February 25, 2014 6:48 pm
Pactards are the laughing stock of boxing
Pacroid keeps making his fans look foolish over and over again.
The pactards were a lil’ over-excited when Pacroid was on his PED fueled tear back in 2009 and they began acting out and calling out Mayweather.
Mayweather answered and agreed to fight Pacroid. Mayweather agreed to Pacroids’ choice of glove size, ring size and even a ridiculous $10M per lb overweight penalty, but Pacroid refused Mayweathers’ sole demand that they both submit to random blood testing with hilarious comments “afraid of needles”, “I am superstitious” and ” blood loss makes me weak”.
Egg on the pactards face.
J.M.Marquez would hire Angel Heredia for rematches against Pacroid in 2011 and 2012. The pactards went into a frenzy accusing Marquez of PED use because of his association to Heredia.
Marquez fans countered these accusations as beautifully as Marquez countered Pacroid with that KO punch. Pactards were reminded that yes Marquez did hire a PED cheat for 2 fights, but that Pacroid had worked with PED cheats Justine Fortune and Alex Ariza for 13 years straight and nearly 30 fights. In short, if Marquez was cheating he did so only against another fighter who was on PEDs so the playing field was even and it would not tarnish Marquezs’ career at all. Pacroid on the other hand built his whole career on Fortune and Ariza, tarnishing everything he accomplished from 2001 to present.
Double egg on the pactards faces.
Then for the Marquez/Bradley fight, the pactards went into a frenzy yet again when it was revealed that only Bradley would do the VADA testing and Marquez’ blood testing would be monitored by the NSAC. The pactards said that Marquez’ refusal to do VADA testing was proof that he was juicing.
Recently for the Pacroid/Bradley II fight, it has also been revealed that only Bradley will be doing VADA testing and that Pacroid will be doing testing by the NSAC. To make matters worse it’s not even clear if Pacroid will be blood testing at all. Suddenly the pactards are silent on the issue and VADA is no longer “the best” like they claimed before.
Egg on the pactards faces AGAIN.
Pactards have so much egg on their faces they’re beggining to look like an omellette.Posted February 25, 2014 5:54 pm

Mayweather received a guarantee of $32 million for his Guerrero fight and should see something similar for Maidana (Mayweather’s record $41.5 million guarantee for The One was based on the huge expectations). Ultimately, Mayweather’s upside will be based on the PPV audience. He saw almost no upside for Guerrero, but added $40 million to his guaranteed payday against Alvarez with the massive PPV. As he has done since his split from Bob Arum and Top Rank in 2006, Mayweather will beat on himself by promoting the fight through Mayweather Promotions and cutting out the middleman. Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Maidana, will co-promote the bout. Expect Money Mayweather to keep winning in and outside the ring.Posted February 25, 2014 3:49 pm

Problem is there is no proof that GGG can make 154. He didn’t even fight that low in the amateurs. If he could make it I think he would of already since there are many fights there. But what is also funny is the simple fact that he said from 154 to 175 and Ward and Hopkins both accepted. Unfortunately team GGG back peddled on that.Posted February 25, 2014 1:58 pm
“‘Man up & fight GGG Floyd?’ That’s like telling GGG 2 man up and fight Ward….” — Except GGG offered to do it at 154, he’s not asking Floyd to go at 160. If Ward offered GGG a fight at 160 it would likely happen.Posted February 25, 2014 1:54 pm
Lexington, MA my friend. I am a normal everyday working person that admires Manny Pacquiao. His story is one that is intriguing in more way than one. If fans would take the time to read this man’s life story and see where he has come from. I believe everyone that has an open mind and good heart would be applauding and cheering for this humble man. He’s a true model fighter and human being. His biggest success is found outside the squared circle. He gives to those in need. He donates millions of dollars even against his closest friends asking him to be careful with his money, but he knows no other way. He was raised with poverty, and wants to help those that are living in that dark dismal dungeon of poverty. And this not the poverty in the USA, but poverty in a third world country that. Manny is well off today even with his tax issue. He’s walked through the streets of hopelessness as a child, and has reached the pinnacle of sports. He is a modest, humble, respectful, giving, caring person that turns no one away. Look at his fights, and you see the fury that lives deep inside of him. Watch his post fight interview, and you can’t help but like him because he is a real person that never puts on a front for the audience. He never swears, boasts or complains. Manny has true character. Those of us that have children of our own would choose Manny to be their role model. There are still some people that can’t stand to see such a wonderful person. They try and knock him down and are constantly looking to see fault in Manny Pacquiao, and that’s a shame. He is a loyal person to a fault. You then look at a fighter like Floyd Mayweather. Here is a person that is the complete opposite. He brags, boasts, disrespects, swears, brags about his fame, fortune and shows off all his worldly materialistic possessions. This is a man that is empty inside looking to full fill that big empty hole in his heart. He craves attention, for him it’s about me, me, me. His entire character is about one thing and one thing only, MONEY. Manny Pacquiao has worked hard to make himself one of those great successful cross over athletes that connects with people from all over the world. In the USA, he’s one of the most sought after people. You’ll see him on all the sports shows, news stations and every day talk shows. This happens because of who Manny Pacquiao is. He’s well liked by all. Let’s just take a look at some of his accomplishments: Fighter of The Decade, The ONLY 8 division Boxing Champion in history, Cover of TIME Magazine, Platinum Music records, Invited to White House by President Obama, Hit movies world wide, Most sought after athlete by sponsors/companies, CONGRESSMAN of the Philippines, Helped pass a Human trafficking Bill, Successful Model, supports a variety of charities to help the needy. And these are just a few of his accomplishments. I enjoy watching Manny’s career as it unfolds. His next fight vs Timothy Bradley will be memorable, historic and a fight for the ages. Manny Pacquiao is the best!Posted February 25, 2014 1:47 pm
I won’t pay a dime for a little floyd fight, until he fights someone with a chance to beat him.Posted February 25, 2014 1:44 pm
Time for boxing fans to get smart and not buy this PPV or any other of Mayweathers BS fights. Seriously, Maidana is the most predictable fighter in boxing.

Khan can cry and complain all he wants, but did he EARN the right to face Mayweather, regardless of what ONE poll says? No. Does Khan have a belt to leverage a title or unification fight? No. Has Khan even tried to fight Garcia, Provodnikov, or Peterson at 140 or any of the belt holders at 147? No. Khan’s math doesnt add up and Maidana has earned the chance to unify the titles.Posted February 25, 2014 12:52 pm
KIND OF DUMB You make a few good points BUT it seems CLEAR to me that Floyd REALLY wanted Khan, not Maidana. As I predicted, when he/Showtime saw the reaction of the fans he would be forced to shift gears and go back on his own BOGUS poll. He did. NO doubt he wanted Khan. In REALITY, Floyd DIDN’T chose Maidana, the OUTRAGE of the fans DID!! On the other hand Khan looked like novice politician desperately seeking the Prime Minister nomination. Having him vs Broner on the undercard might make the ppv tempting, but… Oh well, peace to all.Posted February 25, 2014 12:40 pm
Now we will get a front row seat to see the difference between Mayweather and Broner. Floyd wont work out for this fight no sparring nothing he will just get up on fight day and beat Maidana .Now everyone is saying this is a easy fight. That’s what Broner thought as well before he found him self looking up at the lights.Floyd wins by knockout if Maidana comes to fight.Posted February 25, 2014 12:33 pm
How about Pac be his own Man and leave Arum, promote himself, and work out a deal with Floyd. That was laid out way back but Pac didn’t do it.
Arum will want his cut if Floyd and Pac fight. Not a buyout like Schaffer offered but a Big Promotional/Manager Cut. Floyd isn’t having that when he can sell the fight himself. Pac can sell himself as well.Posted February 25, 2014 12:06 pm
There are only two opponents that will help PPV sales for Floyd at 147, Pac and Bradley, and both of them are Top Rank fighters and fighting each other.
Even Bradley admitted his chances of getting Floyd decreased with his resigning with Top Rank. But he hopes, given Floyd is his own boss, that the fight can still be made which is a joke considering its a contradiction because he already said himself signing with Top rank lowers his chances. Why? Because Floyd will not work with them. So why bother to sign?Posted February 25, 2014 12:04 pm

So, we got screwed over by Floyd. Plan B is to challenge Manny Pacquiao. My son knows he can take him out. They sparred hundreds of rounds and the truth is Pacquiao is scared of my son and don’t want to fight him, but we will push for this. Khan by mid rounds stoppage.Posted February 25, 2014 11:48 am
Baby Khan will start whining again soon. How long before he starts talking about wanting Floyd in May 2015? Maidana is so classy, unlike Khan who begged and whined for the past three weeks. Well done Floyd, this is justice for boxing.Posted February 25, 2014 11:30 am
Thurman is ready for Floyd yet. It would be a good fight between Maidana vs Thurman. That is a pick em fight right now. Thurman may be ready next year but we will see. Porter has a mandatory to full fill. I think he may be able to beat Maidana but no sure about that also. With the way Porter struggled against Diaz who knows.Posted February 25, 2014 11:11 am
Doubt it. I also doubt he could beat Porter or Thurman.Posted February 25, 2014 11:01 am
If Maidana were to fight Alexander again I bet Maidana would beat him.Posted February 25, 2014 11:00 am
You guys not to worry about Khan. Floyd will fight him next after he beat Maidana. It’s all about hyping up this two cherry pick opponents to make Floyd more money. It’s a brilliant way to market this two cherry pick opponents, put up a poll and let fans start talking and go crazy banana with the issue and boom 1 million PPV buy for an easy boring fight.Posted February 25, 2014 10:59 am
Cmon man Alexander schooled Maidana. The reason he got the fight was because of his style and ethnicity. This style will make Floyd look sharp and untouched.Posted February 25, 2014 10:43 am
When Maidana beat Broner, everybody said Floyd would never take a fight with Maidana and said he didn’t have the balls too. But as soon as he became part of the equation it is another cherry picked fight. Always a double standard. Fight is still gonna do well. Even though yall are now serious about boycotting the fight. lolPosted February 25, 2014 10:33 am

I think Maidana would do well.Posted February 25, 2014 7:32 am
Maidana earned it but his style is perfect for Floyd. We’ve seen it all before against Baldomir, Canelo and even Corrales. Big punchers with limited slowish footwork are perfect for Floyd. Easy 12 UD, most probably a shut-out.
A boring fight win for cherry plcker Floyd.Posted February 25, 2014 7:20 am
Maidana earned the fight. Khan never even tried to earn it. This news is justice for boxing. It was absurd that Khan’s name was even in the discussion to begin with. Khan was just looking for a retirement pay day. Now Khan is in a very bad place, because if he fights any of the top ten welterweights, he’ll get beat. We saw in the Diaz fight that Khan is finished at top level. How angry Khan must be that he couldn’t talk his way into one last big pay day. This is a great day for the sport. The deserving man has got the shot, the undeserving, arrogant and deluded fighter was left out in the cold, rightly so. Expect Khan to offer Lamont Peterson a fight at 147lbs, forcing Peterson to come up in weight (to give Khan the advantage) in Bolton or Sheffield, again to give Khan an advantage, and then assuming Khan edges past Peterson, expect Khan to do exactly what he just did, i.e. he’ll duck any other challenge and remain inactive whilst trying, yet again, to talk his way into a Floyd fight in 2015. Except the moment has gone, Amir. The game is up.Posted February 25, 2014 6:50 am
‘Man up & fight GGG Floyd?’ That’s like telling GGG 2 man up and fight Ward…..so fighting a guy with a belt in the welterweight devision instead of khan is cherry picking? If Floyd beats Madaina he has 2 belts in 2 devisions…..4 belts. If only the others could cherry pic like that?Posted February 25, 2014 6:02 am

You are kinda dumb!
This is supposed to be a Boxing blog but somehow 90% of the people hear no absolutely nothing about boxing. Why would anyone be mad because Floyd chose to fight maidana & not glass jawed Khan who wouldn’t last 5 rounds. I am sure the British fans are incensed at how Floyd is not beholden to the poll where they so diligently voted for their countryman. LMAO Lets get one fact absolutely clear their is NO ONE that is going to beat Floyd at welterweight period. Maidana is coming off a good win against Broner and is pretty popular. He is also a much better opponent than Khan. People cannot keep expecting mayweather to go up in weight and challenge bigger fighters this late in his career. Am sure klitshko would give him a good test but give the poor guy a break. That being said this is another easy fight for Floyd; maidana is a pretty easy to hit, lacks handspeed & really flatfooted. I will give maidana 3 rounds at the most(early in the fight)!!Posted February 25, 2014 4:25 am
“I’ll give Maidana a punching chance if Floyd decides to use 8oz gloves if not Maidana won’t stand a chance.” – According to the rules, if it’s a 147 lb bout it’s 8oz and 154 lbs it’s 10 oz. This is a straight up welterweight bout as far as I know, so if we hear about 10oz gloves the NSAC needs to forbid it.Posted February 25, 2014 3:36 am
Time for boxing fans to get smart and not buy this PPV or any other of Mayweathers BS fights. Seriously, Maidana is the most predictable fighter in boxing. He has no chance whatsoever of beating Mayweather. This is the biggest fraud of a fight ever. Floyd makes all of his fans look stupid as they vote for Khan, and Floyd laughs his ass off as he goes the opposite direction and instead picks Maidana. If anyone thinks Maidana has any chance whatsoever, they have some serious issues. Maidana has no defense, horrible feet, no boxing skills, no agility, no reflexes, no gas tank, the man offers nothing, but determination and toughness. This is a beautiful recipe for Floyd Mayweather. I guarantee 1000% that Maidana gets stopped badly. Boxing is letting Mayweather turn the sport into one big joke. You can give Floyd your money if you want to, but I’m not paying a dime. Mr Cherry Picker strikes again. Now, who’s going to pay for this farce?Posted February 25, 2014 3:30 am

I’m glad He can’t bully Pacman and Top Rank.” – He became the mandatory by winning against the human punching bag Rios? Don’t you think it’s odd that he is even in the conversation knowing he had lost 2 of his 3 fight and had just win against an opponent going up in weight?Posted February 25, 2014 3:11 am
I’ll give Maidana a punching chance if Floyd decides to use 8oz gloves if not Maidana won’t stand a chance. Floyd will win in a boring 12 rounds UD!Posted February 25, 2014 2:56 am
Floyd via MD, not counting out Maidana in this fight but Floyd’s too fast for this kid…. it’s going to be like Pac vs Rios. Maidana’s punch is like a mule’s kick, but heck, you can’t make him taste that power if you can’t hit him.
Given that Maidana had success with Broner, but Floyd is not Broner.Posted February 25, 2014 2:24 am

Mayweather has that throw away popstar thing about him, you can’t be famous as you are a fool, laughing at you, just the way it is, just retire, you will not be missed, the popstar brigade will miss you.Posted February 24, 2014 11:34 pm
Khan v Maidana.
Pacquiao as well, that was Pacquiao the Boxer, famous for the Boxing fans.Posted February 24, 2014 11:24 pm
After Maidana it will be Khan. It’s just another way to stir up the fight hype so these 2 bums Khan and Maidana will gather enough fight fans to watch it and make Floyd’s lots of money. Brilliant! 2 bums looking like a winner with these poll bulls|ht!Posted February 24, 2014 11:24 pm
Pac ducked mayweather hahahaha. What he was scared of maybe loosing by decision haha that’s the only way it would ever go down. No power!!!Posted February 24, 2014 11:22 pm
Floyd Money Mayweather
I know I put out a poll so the fans could choose who I fight, but f#*k the fans. I fight whoever the hell I want.
Posted February 24, 2014 11:20 pm
^No doubt, Floyd, you paid the cost to be the boss. Could be fighting Rios, but you paid nearly a million dollars to get out of your snake contract w/ bob arum. Do your thing Floyd.
Khan v Maidana.
Dopey Mayweather.Posted February 24, 2014 11:18 pm
Khan v Maidana.
Mayweather is a fool, there are better fights for the Boxing fan, Mayweather is not even really famous, he is a mug, if you saw him in the street, you would think what a fool, he has nohting about him, idiot, like Hagler for instance, you would think, was that Hagler, tat was Marvin Hagler that was, famous Boxer.Posted February 24, 2014 11:15 pm
Havoc-Pacman ducked his opportunity to drop Arum and get the Floyd Fight. Floyd does not face Arum promoted Fighters. Go take a Box rec.com class.
Posted February 24, 2014 10:27 pm
^QUACKMAN! NOT PACMAN!Posted February 24, 2014 11:14 pm
Plz use the logic you mentioned to justify fm vs ortiz , fm vs gurerro etc……….Posted February 24, 2014 11:13 pm
Floyd opted for Maidana so that he use not fighting Khan to set up a fight between them down the road. He’s killing two birds with one stone. He knows that nobody wants to see him fight either of these substandard opponents but by doing it this way it gives him an angle to fight both. He doesn’t want any part of the opponents the fans really yearn to see him in there with. Fighting legitimate prime threats is just not his thing. People want to see him in there with Pacman, even the shot version of today, and Lara, Golovkin, you know opponents that actually pose him a real risk. Truly dangerous opponents.Posted February 24, 2014 11:05 pm
Yaa boxtra looks like i hurt u.Posted February 24, 2014 11:04 pm
He needs a good undercard or they would t sell. It will do 1.2 with Thurman and broner. Hope they both fight on the undercardPosted February 24, 2014 11:03 pm
“Hope FM has enough belief in his starpower that they dont have to put 2 or 1 big undercard fight to pump up the ppv”-WHAT??? What type of fan wishes for a WEAKER undercard??? You’re no fan. You’re a SISSY. YOU just don’t want the viewers to be pulled from ICE skating SO you wish for a weak undercard.Posted February 24, 2014 11:00 pm
FM fans will be voting soon and this time it will for FM’s september fight and the options will be something like
Ortiz and Gurerro.Posted February 24, 2014 11:00 pm
Havoc-Manny needs to show that he can beat Bradley before any rational perso believes he can beat FloydPosted February 24, 2014 10:56 pm
Manny is 1 ranked WBC. That’s floyd fav belt. SimplePosted February 24, 2014 10:55 pm
Havoc-Pacquiao had a chance to drop Arum but he re signed with him for 3 more Fights. He next chance to drop him is in 2015. Hopefully he will MAN UP and take Mayweather’s challengePosted February 24, 2014 10:54 pm
Lets see what ppv# fm vs maidana does and what MP vs TB does.
Hope FM has enough belief in his starpower that they dont have to put 2 or 1 big undercard fight to pump up the ppv#.Posted February 24, 2014 10:54 pm
Auzbox-Nope. The Ring belt is the BEST belt and Floyd has TWO of them right now. WW and Jr MW. He also has TWO WBC belts. WW and Jr MW.Posted February 24, 2014 10:51 pm
It’s funny he is money may but he does t want the biggest money fight. InterestingPosted February 24, 2014 10:47 pm
Boxtradamus: Pacman can’t drop Arum for he has a contract with Top Rank. It will be a breach of contract if he does. I just don’t see the problem why can’t Mayweather just fight Manny in the ring and just get done with it. He is better than mAnny and yet for some reason he don’t want anything to do with top rank. What a shame! You praise him as the best and yet he can’t touch Manny because he hate top rank. If Floyd beat manny then Floyd will be rubbing it to Arum. It’s a shame! All I know is Floyd can’t beat Manny cause he can’t bully his way to all the demands that he wants to get the upper hand in the fight. Manny will beat Mayweather no matter how you look at it.Posted February 24, 2014 10:44 pm
Great boxtra. But the WBC is the best belt and PAC is ranked #1. SimplePosted February 24, 2014 10:44 pm
Khan v Maidana.
Maidana is going to beat Mayweather like he did Broner, it’s the way it goes in Boxing, Goodbye Mayweather and his 0, once that goes he will be nothing any decent fighter will beat him, he won’t be in control then, fight in May or September, you jump when we say, he will not like that, and that’s not even avoiding Pacquiao, taht’s a different story.Posted February 24, 2014 10:40 pm
The oracle of Delphi
Maidana is a tough SOB, not a pop star like Alvarez. If he can corner the runner, he might hurt him, otherwise easy point win for Fraudweather. Will I buy it? NO! I will give Floyd not a single cent…he is one of the most boring fighters to have ever entered the ring. Watching our janitor fight our cleaning lady is more interesting…Posted February 24, 2014 10:34 pm
Khan v Maidana.
After Maidana takes care of Mayweather (same as Broner) on May 3rd, it will be Khan v Maidana, super fight at Wembley.Posted February 24, 2014 10:33 pm
“Srr did not fight as many champs because there were 8 weight classes and 1 champion per division”-SO I am CORRECT in stating that he didn’t DO it….Now what is everyone ELSE’S EXCUSE???? They had just as many CHAMPS to Fight as Floyd does. They just don’t have the BALLS.Posted February 24, 2014 10:33 pm
“15 years ago the wbo was no better than a regional belt.”-Well that’s why Floyd doesn’t face WBO CHAMPS.Posted February 24, 2014 10:29 pm
Havoc-Pacman ducked his opportunity to drop Arum and get the Floyd Fight. Floyd does not face Arum promoted Fighters. Go take a Box rec.com class.Posted February 24, 2014 10:27 pm
Khan v Maidana.@ you are little bit stupid are you? ran out of cherries? they are both cherries.Posted February 24, 2014 10:22 pm
Khan v Maidana.
Ran out of cherry picks, you fight Khan or Maidana, he was told that by Showtime, if he could of got away with it, it would of been some other fighter, that was the delay in announcing the next fight.Posted February 24, 2014 10:12 pm
Just another brilliant way of Mayweather to sell his next coming fight! Controversy sells! But no matter how you slice and dice it Floyd pick, demands, set rules in his favor! Brilliant for a boring fighter who gets paid will easy fights! He makes tons of money and it seems like a crime when you get to see what is the outcome of the fight.Posted February 24, 2014 10:10 pm
Khan v Maidana.
Maidana will throw the left boxing and beat him up, same as Broner, Mayweather will get dismantled.Posted February 24, 2014 10:07 pm
Miadana will gas out soon.Posted February 24, 2014 10:05 pm
Khan v Maidana.@ but now you told it to everyone, you spoiled it idiot! Floyd is reading these posts and now he knows. You must come up with a new plan for Maidana.Posted February 24, 2014 10:03 pm
Bixtradamus: and yet he duck Pacman the mandatory challenger to his claim championship. The greatest until he man up and fight Pacman!!!!! Floyd the greatest and king of the PPV event so he have all the power to bully and toy who he ever wants to fight! I’m glad He can’t bully Pacman and Top Rank.Posted February 24, 2014 10:02 pm
WHO Fights 11 CHAMPS in a 13 Fight Span????? WHOA this guy is CRAZY…… SRR didn’t DO it. SRL didn’t DO it. Ali didn’t DO it. Wlad didn’t DO it. Duran didn’t DO it. Pacquiao didn’t DO it. Roy Jones Jr. didn’t DO it. NO ONE has DONE it….The CONCLUSION is that Floyd has MUCH BALLS. More balls than anyone in the History of Boxing.
Maidana and Robert Garcia SAID that they deserve the Fight. Well now they HAVE it. GOOD luck to them.Posted February 24, 2014 10:01 pm
Floyd was going to always fight Maidana. He decided that from the moment Maidana upset Broner. Khan was never a factor, and Khan played himself by believing so. Also, Maidana won on majority of polls held around the boxing world. Khan only won the poll from Mayweather website, and that’s becaause Khan begged the UK to vote.Posted February 24, 2014 9:59 pm
Not watching Floyd fights a slow punching Maidana. Forget about the power. Floyd knows he can demand everything and anything he wants. Bigger gloves please so that he can neutralize the power and easy to block!!!!Posted February 24, 2014 9:55 pm
Floyd took MY advice just as I predicted!!!!!! I am STILL the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born! !!!!! 11 CHAMPS in his last 13 Fights!! WOW!!!!!Posted February 24, 2014 9:54 pm
Khan v Maidana.
Maidana is going throw a left to the body, then change it to a left hook, all of a sudden, Mayweather is going to hit the deck.Posted February 24, 2014 9:52 pm
I suspect that Khan-Maidana poll was a bait and switch. Much like how Alexander got swapped for Guerrero. Floyd knew he would disappoint fans who universally want him to fight Pacquiao. So he threw a name out there that made everyone freak, and signed with a better opponent. This made Guerrero and Maidana look like the better proposition and reduces complaints about his blatant ducking.Posted February 24, 2014 9:51 pm
who cares. pu–y floyd cherry picks another onePosted February 24, 2014 9:48 pm
Khan v Maidana.@ are u seriouss?Posted February 24, 2014 9:47 pm
How will maidana beat Mayweather when Mayweather demands 10 oz gloves plus random blood testing?Posted February 24, 2014 9:46 pm
why does khan think it should be him in with matweather he has a glass chin and would be in a position where we have seen him when he moves up in compition ON HIS ASSPosted February 24, 2014 9:46 pm
Khan v Maidana.
Styles, Maidana is going to beat Mayweather, same as Broner, Maidana will be even better for the fight, Goodbye Mayweather 0.Posted February 24, 2014 9:42 pm
Khan v Maidana.
Yes!!!Posted February 24, 2014 9:40 pm
Khan v Maidana.
Maidana beats Broner then Mayweather, all set up for the Khan v Maidana rematch, can’t wait.Posted February 24, 2014 9:39 pm
Khan blew a fight for a belt against Alexander by gambling on a shot at Mayweather. That’s the way things go, but Khan is in no position to complain.Posted February 24, 2014 9:38 pm
so what are the conditions? headgear? 12 oz. gloves? stringent testing for maidana only? rehydration clause?Posted February 24, 2014 9:37 pm
Lol Amir Khan was problaby training for months for the May fight, and now we get to see Maidana vs Floyd. Maidana hasnt even been training from what I see on ESnews videos. So if we do the math Maidana has about 2 months to prepare for the fight vs Amir Khan who had prolly 6 months.Posted February 24, 2014 9:34 pm
Floyd put up a poll and then decide to fight the loser! Cherry picking at its best!!!!!!!!Posted February 24, 2014 9:31 pm
10 oz gloves plus random blood testing should be enough for Floyd to demand to neutralize the punching power and chance of Maidana. Bye Ariza!Posted February 24, 2014 9:27 pm
Hip hip hurrah for Floyd!Posted February 24, 2014 9:22 pm
