Molina the Mexican Pulpo will be all over Khan like he was over Kirkland wrapping him up all night long in his trademark Sticky Pulpo attack…Posted October 6, 2012 6:43 pm
If Khan does not have Molina out of there fast he will look an even bigger failure….Posted October 5, 2012 1:39 pm
By the way…Hidalgo …..This discussion is no where near finished……Posted October 3, 2012 1:27 pm
There’s a good reason why Canelo fought Josesito Lopez.. Lopez upset Ortiz and you reward him with a title shot. If you flip him off because Ortiz was supposed to win you just perpetuate the notion that professional boxing isn’t a merit based enterprise.Posted October 3, 2012 12:46 pm
“Tark and hidalgo talking nonsense here they have bought into this farce from khan”
What are you talking about, Khan’s Chin? I said Molina was a “viable” opponent. “Viable” means practical. It makes sense to put Khan, in his first fight under Hunter, against an opponent who likely won’t KO Khan’s butt but will give Khan a chance to fight a reasonably qualified opponent, using the tools and skills that Hunter is now teaching him.
So, you are entitled to your opinion–about me or the fighters–but I still say Molina will go the full twelve rounds with Amir. Wait and see.Posted October 3, 2012 11:46 am
Rich, go home and suck harder on your bink. You are too thin-skinned. But you’re an expert cry-baby. So go home cowboy and suck on your bink. After all, it’s the only thing you can master. Before breaking out in tears again.Posted October 3, 2012 11:36 am
Khan is done and it’s his and Roach’s fault. Simple ass habit that will keep him from being as good as he could be and that is THE FACT THAT HE KEEPS HIS HEAD IN THE SAME PLACE WHEN THROWING PUNCHES. That’s why a no look shot was the first to start the onslaught. Garcia knew where his head was gonna be and didn’t have to look. Paul Williams had the same problem and that’s why he was laid out by Sergio Martinez by a no look bomb. I don’t see how trainers don’t see their fighters doing this.Posted October 3, 2012 10:56 am
A KO blow can land in the 1st round as easily as in the 12th round. If you buy a ticket that’s the chance you take.Posted October 3, 2012 10:07 am
Hidalgo…..Shouting great if MOLINA gets knocked out in the first round is your idea of a good match up is it.That is your intelligent boxing input that you are so proud of…..For the 90% more boxing knowledge you profess to have you certainly have not shown it on your comments on here…Still I am learning every day,my goal is to reach your level and humbleness and self important appreciation, perhaps in a few years I will attain your awesomeness….Posted October 3, 2012 2:58 am
Khan articles get all the posts, even if he loses.Posted October 2, 2012 9:35 pm
Rich, if you knew one tenth of what I know about boxing, you could make intelligent comments about the sport and particular boxers. But you don’t. And, you don’t.Posted October 2, 2012 9:31 pm
Just to be clear this is not the Carlos Molina who fought Kirkland and Lara, just the same name…Posted October 2, 2012 8:33 pm

I find it funny how some of Khan’s biggest supporters can no longer defend him as being one of the best so they say things like Khan is still fun or exciting to watch to him relevant..Lol!, more like Khan getting KTFO for flapping his gums is still must watch TV..Lol!Posted October 2, 2012 3:52 pm
This fight is not much different than Canelo-Lopez, sure two wrongs don’t make a right but if we are to criticized Khan then we should do the same with Canelo.Posted October 2, 2012 3:21 pm
Khan’s chin- I am not sensitive dude, I am just not emotionally attached to Khan as you are. If anything, you might be too sensitive if you feel that strongly against someone you don’t even know.
Ok, Khan is arrogant. Ok, so are many fighters out there. He is not an elite fighter, mainly becuase of his weak chin, but you can’t say Khan has faced weak opposition, because if you do, then obviously your hate towards Khan has clouded your judgement.
Danny Garcia is a top 10 jr. welter, so was Peterson, so was Malignani and Kotelnik. Khan also wanted to fight Bradley but Bradley had his sights on Manny.
So, I don’t care about Khan either way. He’s not my neighbor nor will I probably never meet the guy, so why would I care if he’s arrogant. The only thing I care about is whether at the end of the fight night I was entertained in the fight Khan was involved in. And usually I am.
I agree, this next fight is probably garbage, but as much as you hate him, Khan does have the right to try and continue his career as a boxer. Who is anyone to tell him otherwise.
The only complaint I have is really against Showtime for buying a crappy fight. Khan has the right to get back on track butnot on a premium network. It’s not Khan’s fault, but the network that bought it.Posted October 2, 2012 3:06 pm
Eddie – i have a feeling you might be too sensitive for this sight but here goes- khan has always believed his own hype he has disrespected nearly every fighter he has fought, looking past his immediate opponent to his next and paying the price, “Freddie roach is the best trainer on the planet and has every facet of my game covered” those the words of our fr iend, the kid is not confident he is arrogant ! Always has been ! Your right Eddie not every fighter is going to be elite, but of all those non elite fighters khan is the only one who thinks he is! I don’t know amir khan but as James Joyce said ” a man’s character can be seen from a distance ” and this fight stinks and goes against every thing khan has said ie “cleaning up light welter ” haha i mean how pathetic! This guy is the biggest fraud in boxing !Posted October 2, 2012 2:34 pm
I don’t see why so many people have such emotion when it comes to Khan. I have no feeling about the guy either way. Only thing I care about is if Khan is fun to watch, and he is.
This fight probably sucks, but you can’t say Khan has been matched easy in the past 2 years. Garcia, Peterson and company were all top 10 jr. weltersPosted October 2, 2012 2:32 pm
I love this picture! POW!Posted October 2, 2012 2:15 pm
Khan’ Chin- Maybe Khan won’t ever be elite, but so what. Not every fighter that steps into the ring can become an elite fighter.
And I do think Khan needs a fight like Molina to get his confidence back. Why can’t Khan TRY to get his career on track? Why such a personal attack on someone you probably don’t even know.
The only complaint anyone should have is that Showtime bought the crappy fight. Kudos to HBO for passing, and bad for Showtime to air it.Posted October 2, 2012 2:06 pm
Khans chin – well said ! I think the fact that khan is actually trying to talk UP his opponent really means even he knows this is the easy way back and you don’t become great by taking the easy route, khan is and has been overrated built up by the British mediaPosted October 2, 2012 2:05 pm
Tark and hidalgo talking nonsense here they have bought into this farce from khan , this is the cowards way back, fight an unproven smaller fighter and hope that because you got andre wards trainer that will gloss over the fact ! Khan will never become elite he doesn’t have the talent or ballsPosted October 2, 2012 1:59 pm
Funny, Khan can’t fight Molina but all Haymon fighters fight Molina type fighters all the time on HBO.Posted October 2, 2012 12:56 pm

take your gums off khans nuts for a second and smell the jockstrapp you mug.Posted October 2, 2012 11:36 am
Kingslayer your the moron if you listen to what khan says you foolio, its reasons like this is why people don’t like him.Posted October 2, 2012 11:35 am
Lucky for us that Eddie Gaedel is no longer alive, or else Khan might schedule him as an opponent.Posted October 2, 2012 8:46 am
“What are you all going to say if Khan takes him out in the first round….or its stopped by the ref in the third…..What possible inkling could you get about AMIR and Hunter…..except feel you’ve had the piss taken……”
What’s your point, Rich? I’ll tell you what I’m going to say if Khan takes Molina out in the first round, “Great!” But what do you mean by asking “what possible inkling…?” Do you not realize that Khan has to fight different? Do you not realize that Hunter will have different ideas about training Khan than Roach did? Inkling? Common sense, man.
As for “had the piss taken…” WTF does that mean?Posted October 2, 2012 7:43 am
It’s Khan’s job to promote the fight you moron.Posted October 2, 2012 5:26 am
he was on sky sports the other day to FOOL them into thinking this was a credible opponent it was pathetic to be honest.Posted October 2, 2012 3:56 am
Tark who cares if this is a good fight for Khan, is this not supposed to be a spectator sport and they fight to entertain? that is not keeping anyone happy but himself, I hope it backfires and Molina wins, that would rumble his easy fight plans.Posted October 2, 2012 3:55 am

Khan is doo doo for picking a weak opponent a Ortiz maidana fight would be goodPosted October 2, 2012 1:06 am
Hope this lands on the Cotto vs. Trout card so Sky can pick that up.Posted October 2, 2012 12:57 am
Khan will do better defense training with Hunter who will also teach how to manage inside distance a lot better. He still has a chance to make it back to the leagues. I’m not a fan of his but would not want to see him go the deep bottom and scraping barely in the prime years. He’s got the best trainer for a comeback — that’s for sure.Posted October 1, 2012 11:56 pm
How do you have no chin…when you can absorb bombing head shots from Maidana and Peterson for 24 rounds without hitting the canvas??? … AK has a chin, but he has no defense—and if he doesn’t learn some his brain power will soon be that of a bird.Posted October 1, 2012 9:19 pm
It’s not about the trainers Khan has no chin against top fighters that will always cost him greatnessPosted October 1, 2012 9:11 pm
@HH…. Yes this IS a good fight… Maybe not a good fight for you. Maybe not a sizzling fight for the fans. It’s a good fight for KHAN…or Hunter wouldn’t have approved it … Khan’s new team doesn’t want to see him stretched out on the canvas again during his career. Does Hunter care what you think? Does Hunter care what ANY hater thinks? Or is Hunter going to make sure Khan reaches his potential as a fighter?Posted October 1, 2012 8:58 pm
Molina is a viable, sensible opponent for Khan at this point in Khan’s career. Molina is no slouch and I feel he can go a full twelve rounds with Amir. Watch this bout carefully. Hunter will have Khan fighting a more technical, paced fight than he has fought in some time. Hunter will have Khan going for the UD win rather than a stoppage or KO. Molina on the other hand, will be boxing to win.Posted October 1, 2012 8:49 pm
Is it me or did they change the site again, anyways yeai so i use to think khan was the real deal of course with bad chin but tought he could avoid getting hit, boy was i wrong, and about this guy molina he might have been hand picked but if u know ur Boxing u know he comes from a Boxing family both his younger brothers were olympians 2008 and 2012 hes undefeated had a good amatur career and hungry to be champ i think this is the end for khan he wont be as explosive as he use too with virgil because we all know virgil thinks safety first so molina might even k.o himPosted October 1, 2012 8:47 pm
If an ex-Navy Seal found out that you were sleeping with his wife. There is nowhere on earth that you can hide. That bitterly angry ex-Navy Seal will hunt you down and chillingly shoot and kill you. And likewise with Khan,in the sense, that there is nowhere in the ring that he can hide his glass chin it`s just a matter of time before he will be knocked out again in the not-too-distant future with his body twitching and laying unconscious on the canvas.Posted October 1, 2012 7:32 pm
Some people talk so much crap it’s unreal!
“This is a good fight”?
Two fights back they were talking about Khan/Mayweather at 147lbs and now we’re being told Khan/Molina a career lightweight as a good fight!
Some people are just too stupid!
We actually have to breath the same air as these clowns!Posted October 1, 2012 7:16 pm
The Russian Tyson
Molina is a handpicked, cherrypickedopponent who has been carefully chosen by Khan`s team because he is a harmless puncher who is not likely to hit hard enough to knock out or give Khan any difficulty.Posted October 1, 2012 6:50 pm
Hahaha love the pics eastsideboxing puts on khan hilarious hahah!!Posted October 1, 2012 5:28 pm
Khan vs lightweight powder puff puncher-no thanks!Posted October 1, 2012 4:27 pm
This is a good fight.. This is an undefeated kid who will make Khan work his ass off and maybe go the distance. What do you do when you’ve been badly beaten up in a couple fights – and iced in a couple more??? Humiliation is part of Boxing. It’s the great occupational hazard to be scoffed at and ridiculed by jerks who never accomplished anything. People get off making jackasses out of famous and accomplished people. If you can’t take it you get out of the kitchen. You either retire and find another line of work, or you take baby steps back …. Khan is not ready to hang ’em up so he’s opting for the baby steps.Posted October 1, 2012 4:17 pm
Lol…why duz ESB always put those pics of Khan getting KTFO everytime they post an article about the kid..lol..its kinda disrespectful.Posted October 1, 2012 4:00 pm
Why would anyone want to see this fool Khan on tv? I guess if it’s free, and we get another chance to see this egotistical loud mouth get his ass knocked out again. I’ve never seen a guy that is in such denial about his chin and his ability. It’s laughable to see this guy go down any time he fights someone with two hands. He’s a joke! Danny Garcia should be receiving a lot more attention for his boxing career. I know his father makes him look bad, but he seems like a great kid that comes to fight every time out, and that gets a lot of respect from everyone.Posted October 1, 2012 4:00 pm
Michael, Once again,excellent article. Thanks!Posted October 1, 2012 3:41 pm

Look, I know I’m in the minority here in thinking Khan is a very good fighter but even if you think Khan is a bum in disguise this fight is a joke.
You’ll also be disappointed in watch Khan now that he’s got Hunter in his corner. Khan’s going to become a saftey first defensive and boring fighter as a knee jerk reaction to getting KO’d.
In my 31 years as a fan I’ve seen this story play out time and time again. Khan will attempt to redefine himself, when he really didn’t need to do anything other than be less careless, and his career will pay the price. Don’t count on him stepping in with any more big punchers either.
Thanks Amir, it was fun while it lasted. This is a joke of a fight.Posted October 1, 2012 2:59 pm
