c level at best.

Both fighters are B+ fighters at best.

Bute better boxer but isnt confident and dosent hold up well with a big puncher.

Pascal is just a over rated banger but has good power and decent stamina.

This fight could go either way and it depends on butes fight plan and or strategies.

You already know what to expect from pascal.

Im leaning slighty towards a pasczl ko win.

Bute is overrated. He is a B level fighter. Pascal is a slightly higher B lever fighter who can crack. Going with Pascal by stoppage

big head

pascal can crack u see he knock hopkins down i think he can stop bute we see

Posted January 13, 2014 2:07 pm

big head

if bute focus on pascal body alot then he can slow down pascal especially when they get close bute needs to go to that body i think bute is the better technical fighter more sharper but pascal is proably more tougher and stronger pascal is as tough as they come he got a good chin he durable he faster to more athletic then bute for bute to win he just got to use his jab he taller control distance when pascal jumps in get ready to counter him jab to the body throw that straight left to his mid sections i think pascal needs to relaxed conserve his energy just use his speed and angles or he can try to back bute up put the pressure on him bute seem like he havent recover from that froch loss pascal seem confident and ready relaxed so i gotta go with pascal to win

Swedish Boxing Fan

Bernard Hopkins vs. Beibut Shumenov – WBA/IBF/IBA unification match = Hopkins as winner by close UD.

Adonis Stevenson vs. Sergey Kovalev – Lineal/WBC/WBO unification match = Stevenson by UD or late TKO.

Beibut Shumenov vs. Sergey Kovalev – World title eleminator match = Kovalev by middle rounds KO.

Bernard Hopkins vs. Adonis Stevenson – Unified/Undisputed light heavyweight championship of the world (Lineal/WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO/IBA) = Hopkins winner by close SD.

Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev – Unified/Undisputed light heavyweight championship of the world (Lineal/WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO/IBA) = Hopkins winner by close UD.

Now all this is very wishfull thinking BUT I will wish for this fights to happen with the same outcomes of the fights :-)
It would be awsome to see a 49 year old Bernard Hopkins, against all odds pull all this off.

I hate to say it but both these two fighters may have seen their best days. This is mostly a payday for both of them.It could go either way but my pick is Bute by decision.

Well…let’s just face it: Bute is over the hill with no chance of wining against Pascal, and i think that deep down he knows it,he is basicaly fighting for money right now,i wish he the best but i think he should retire while he still has his brain intact,God blesss both fighters!

Pascal puts Bute into retirement after this beatdown.

Calzaghe was undefeated… But he refused to fight Froch, Dawson, or any good young fighter at all… Bute fights the wrong guys and gets KTFO.

@HH – A guy is undefeated and everyone loves him. Then he loses and all of a sudden he’s a bum. If Bute gets his mojo back this fight ain’t even close. Pascal is the one trick pony when he beat a very over rated Chad Dawson. You must be a youngster HH because you need to get schooled on the sport of boxing.

JP has a proven longevity and pedigree over the exposed one-trick-pony pin-up girl Christine.

Pascal has hired angel memo heredia for this fight

Re Martin: and Froch is Ward and Kessler left over, without bought judges Dirrell left over , withtout a lucky shot Taylor left over and without a bad referee Groves left over
Froch lol

bald bull

Did they pull Alvarez off the televised card?

Both Pascal and Bute are damaged goods. Neither will be more than a challenger to a title ever again. Still, I think Bute has more than Pascal, who really hasn’t looked good at all since about the third round of the first Hopkins fight. Look for this to be a UD Bute win.

I have Bute by KO here. Pascal is going to get roughed up and rode hard like an abused dark pony.

Posted January 12, 2014 8:00 pm

Bute wins with one of his crushing body shots. Pascal is 2nd tier level stuff.

Posted January 12, 2014 7:40 pm

Froch’s leftovers.

Posted January 12, 2014 7:33 pm

Nobody gives Bute a chance on this one but Pascal isn’t very skilled, has mediocre power, and bad stamina. I got Bute on this one.

Pascal by KO
