El Nino Rodriguez is also fighting on the card, along with USS Cunningham.
Rodriguez vs Darnell Wilson should be a war. Wilson has a solid beard and can punch. He had Boystov hurt with a right hand before succumbing to Boystovs own R hands. Rodriguez IS LIKELY the hardest hitting HW in boxing. He’s able to KO solid journeyman types with R hooks to the body. Not a lot of HW journeyman get starched by body shots.
Monsour is also powerful, but he’s had trouble when his opponents get overly defensive or look to slug it out. He’s patient and looks for openings, but it shows he’s got a certain level of fear when he should be going for the kill.
I think a guy like Price will avoid exchanges and hide behind his LOOOOOOOONNNGGG jab. He’ll keep Monsour outside and make for a boring fight unless Monsour catches him and stops him. Otherwise, Price will lose on the cards because his offense will be so negative.
Rodriguez will KO Ding in devastating fashion. Ding aint a slouch, but Rodriguez is 6’5 250 and fights inside like he thinks he’s 2000 JLC or Kostya Tzsyu. Not overhyping the guy, but he aint afraid of being hit, and he’s gonna keep coming until he lands that bomb.
Cunningham is fighting hard hitting Latino slugger, Manny Quezada. This will obviously be a comeback fight for USS vs a smaller 6’1 230lb HW who is NOT slick at all. USS will potshot and counter his way to a wide UD or even catch Quezada lunging and drop n stop him.
So it looks like Duva is prepping USS for a showdown with Nino or Monsour. USS will look great and he’ll likely be pitted with whoever looks better between Nino and Monsour.
USS would school Monsour, but I think Nino is too big for USS and would LIKELY end his career very badly.Posted December 13, 2013 8:40 am
Would not be suprised if Kelvin out points him. His height and reach are a massive advantage and he looked ok for a few rounds against wilderPosted December 13, 2013 8:23 am
I think Price is a good opponent. The man has a win over Tor Hammer and only one loss to a top 10 contender. If Mansour wins this one he needs to step up again. Time is a factor maybe he could fight anyone in the top 20.Posted December 13, 2013 7:28 am
As much as I hate stereotyping people, I can’t help but think that this guy is just another
Too old and too late though he wins this fight by KO.Posted December 13, 2013 4:15 am
If this dude is at all for real he needs to step it up after this fight and find a real challenge. If he’s fighting on NBC maybe they’ll match him with a bigger and more accomplished name like Cunningham or Adamek next.Posted December 12, 2013 8:21 pm
kelvin price? wtf? you aren’t going anywhere fighting guys like that at your age, jailbird.Posted December 12, 2013 5:09 pm

As good a chance as any?! Based on his padded record or just because the writer doesn’t rate the handful of US boxers or 20-odd boxers worldwide who are ranked above him?Posted December 12, 2013 2:16 pm
No.Posted December 12, 2013 1:01 pm
I wouldn’t be worried about fighting a guy who 1 got knocked out inside 3 rounds by wilder and 2 can’t knock out Danny Williams who even a few years ago got knocked out easily by Audrey Harrison and dereck chisora. And anyone know where I can watch this fight in the UK?Posted December 12, 2013 12:27 pm
he is also a jailhouse rat that snitched to get his sentence reduced. selling crack to schoolkids is not good.Posted December 12, 2013 11:57 am
Lavern Moorer went to prison for selling crack. spent years in the slammer. changed his name to man sour. came back out. boxed a bit. got caught with crack again and went back for 14 months. so yes i would say he will go back yet again. if he didnt learn his lesson the first time why would he learn it this time?Posted December 12, 2013 11:40 am
So because he has been to jail, he is automatically going to go back? Why is that? So I guess you assume that if you have been to jail you will automatically go back?Posted December 12, 2013 11:37 am
what did this clown do to keep go to prison? rape? drugs? prepared to die? yea yeah. this bum will be back in the can once againPosted December 12, 2013 9:55 am
