Fact is promoters work for boxers, not the other way around. If a boxer who has a world title demands his promoter make a fight against someone the promoter does it. Too many boxers like Quillin use their promoters to hide behind the fact they are ducking cherrypickers. Martinez too, only DiBella in a moment of transparency admitted he wouldn’t let Martinez anywhere near GGG. of course the haters will continue claiming it’s GGG who ducks these other dudes he’s been calling out for years already. Gullible sheep.Posted November 8, 2013 7:08 pm

Promoters decide who gets on a card.. and what Matches they deem worthy of the event.Posted November 8, 2013 1:36 pm
Is it the networks, promoters or boxers who decides who fights who?Posted November 8, 2013 12:16 pm
Quillen is a joke…still searching for a career defining fight? Err…,maybe GGG then?…..what’s wrong with fighters today? It seems they want to avoid any kind of real test and take only fights they feel they can definitely win….Posted November 8, 2013 6:06 am
Kid Chocolate can run but he can’t hide from the fact that his ducking GGG. Unify or GTFOH!Posted November 8, 2013 12:29 am
Why doesn’t Kid Dark Chocolate (85%, Yum) step up and become the next evening date to be Goodboy’d (trademark) by GGG? Just do it! Wake up next week!!
p.s. Why am I being banned from posting because I am posting too fast? Let me back in … my bros before hoes !!Posted November 8, 2013 12:02 am
I guess Quillin is deaf since Golovkin has been calling him out for a long time now……………….Posted November 7, 2013 11:33 pm
He wants a career defining fight eh? Go fight GGG he’s waiting. Then your career will be defined as busto. So it won’t happen.Posted November 7, 2013 6:36 pm
PE , what weight did he get rocked at? I rest my case. When a fighter is weight drained that will happen. Quillen is a C level fighter and ready for the taking, I wont even mention Rosado, well I guess I just did. Rosado is a C- fighter not muh of anything. I give Canelo a B- , so he would beat those other two clowns and Cotto as well. Don’t get me wrong, I think Canelo is overhyped but can still learn, those other two clowns are what they are.Posted November 7, 2013 6:31 pm
Peter Quillin, take on GGG, there’s a meaningful fight.Posted November 7, 2013 3:00 pm
WHAT IS it with boxing fans?
Blah, blah, blah I read on here for three/four months solid about him….
Difference is, I was never sold on him and could not see what all the fuss about the so-called SECOND COMING was.
However, I find it quite sad that those people who embraced him have not only dumped him! kicking him to the kerb! but have now tried to bury his career as a non-entity, which he clearly is not.
Heck, let him at least perform again before we rip him to shreds.
Just a thought guys!!!!!Posted November 7, 2013 2:44 pm
Doesn’t really matter where the title is. Martinez is the champ and all roads lead to him and his overrated careerPosted November 7, 2013 2:43 pm
thank you leonardPosted November 7, 2013 1:49 pm
im telling you now its gonna be golden boy fighter jacobs so the outfit can keep its hand on the belt no matter who wins.Posted November 7, 2013 1:48 pm
deepwater152… you could be spot on about Danny Jacobs replacing Quillin soon….well said…..Posted November 7, 2013 1:48 pm
His best shot is Martinez, hoping father time is his allyPosted November 7, 2013 1:37 pm
everyone at barclays still thought the frenchman won more rounds then quillen. danny jacobs will get rid of quillen. golden boy isnt happy with quillen. he has no fan base and abad attitude. jacobs will get the shot because he sells more tickets, has a great story,is polite, and is better all around boxer then quillen. golden boy thought the kid chocolate hype machine would do well but they were wrong. no one in nyc likes him. no one from michigan likes him. he doesnt know who he is as a man or a fighter.Posted November 7, 2013 1:23 pm
ive seen quillen fight live and in sparring. nothing special. decent chin and hard shot but nothing special. bad attitude. thug mentality. no adjustments.cares more about buying a watch more then a house.Posted November 7, 2013 1:20 pm
anony bang on. the days of the best fighting the best are long gone, thats why they need hype jobs like canelo.Posted November 7, 2013 12:59 pm
The Best – Canelo could barely handle Cottos little Brother who put him on noodle legs you think Canelo can handle guys his true Size? LOL, stop being a Groupie and start being a Boxing Fan..Posted November 7, 2013 12:50 pm
PE- You lame, as much as I think Canelo is overhyped, he would destroy the talentless Rosado and would even beat the terrible fighter who is Quillen. Like I said before PE go to sling shots, handball or something else because boxing is to manly of a sport for you.Posted November 7, 2013 12:47 pm
four or five champs in each division, lets have some more belts. LOL.Posted November 7, 2013 12:00 pm
Have HBO even tied up GGG’s February fight? Quillin wants a defining fight against anybody but him.
Lol. Can’t say I blame him though. However, it’s time middleweight was unified – too many tune ups and undeserving mandatories – before the champ starts hopping about divisions.
We’ll see how that works out.Posted November 7, 2013 11:54 am
I’ve seen Quillan fight live; he’s an excellent boxer-puncher. However, it might be time for Peter to move out of his normal comfort zone. There are plenty of decent contenders in the UK, Germany and Australia including: Sturm, Murray, Geale, Barker, Lee, Macklin, and Korborov.Posted November 7, 2013 11:33 am
Hidalgo – I agree because Canelo will never get into a ring with any of them! LOL…Posted November 7, 2013 11:13 am
Quillin is the middleweight Berto.Posted November 7, 2013 11:13 am
Excuse me, GGG could. LOL!Posted November 7, 2013 10:55 am
“It’s now a race to see who can Knock the Red Headed Chihuahua out Cold first.. GGG, Quillin, Rosado or Lara.”
None of these guys can or will knock Alvarez out.Posted November 7, 2013 10:54 am
Mad Scientist – I don’t see Cotto trashing Canelo but I do see it being abit more competitive and brutal then the sparring session Canelo had with Mayweather.. Canelo is young strong and naturally bigger then Cotto so Cotto would definitely be the underdog because of those Canelo Strengths.. Cotto’s only chance is to use his ring smarts coupled with Roaches correct training style for Cotto that seems to have gotten him back to his old Body attacking left hooking style.. it would be a great fight. The only thing I would think the Cotto camp should ask for is a weight gain restriction not a catch weight. restrict the amount of weight Canelo can put on overnight to 165lbs from the 154lb weighin.. that would be fair..Posted November 7, 2013 10:46 am
Yes Murray would be a great fight aswell…fighters are out there!!! And posting on this sight sucks, you write a long comment and it dosent go through…B.S.Posted November 7, 2013 9:55 am

Quillin will beat them zll. He’s the best. Easy.Posted November 7, 2013 9:52 am
The boxing networks suck…they hold the fighters and fans hostage!!!But a decent fight would be against Lee…or Macklin, both would be worth watching. But how can you have a career defining fight when you cant fight GGG or Sergio…thanks to the networks.Or fighting the guy that just fought fat pig Chavez JR. (cant think of his name now)that might be decent aswell.Posted November 7, 2013 9:50 am
@Mick the Marmalizer : “I’ve heard that the Martin Murray/Garth Wood fight is off due to the Mosley/Mundain fiasco”
Meh, it’s probably for the best. Watching Wood fight is often more akin to a rugby match than boxing.
is most people on here stupid.. how can he be avoiding ggg or martinez.. can u not read he is with showtime and they with HBO you retardsPosted November 7, 2013 9:36 am

Off subject: I’ve heard that the Martin Murray/Garth Wood fight is off due to the Mosley/Mundain fiasco. Point of Matter. How did Murray get an Australian visa & Richard Towers couldn’t When both had served time in jail?Posted November 7, 2013 6:45 am
@ Farmboxer: I agree! Quillin doesn’t need to search- he needs to fight Rosado, Martinez and Golovkin. Otherwise, I think Quillin is a hype-job.Posted November 7, 2013 6:42 am

Quillin is making excuses about not fight Rosado rematch, not fighting Golovkin, Martinez or anyone good.
If he wants a career defining fight, then fight Martinez or Golovkin………Golovkin has been calling out Martinez and Quillin. Notice that Quillin’s judges had him winning every round except one! Fire the criminal judges that have been destroying boxing.Posted November 7, 2013 4:17 am
GGG! That would be a career ending fight for Quillin, and he knows it, so he’s looking for cherries to pick.Posted November 7, 2013 2:06 am
Looking for a career defining fight?! OK, just call Golovkin and he will fight you ASAP! However, Quillin knows he will get knocked out by Golovkin, that’s why is is avoiding him………………Quillin making fake excuses for not fighting Golovkin makes me want to puke. Rosado exposed Quillin, good thing Quillin had his personal referee and judges to protect him………….Posted November 7, 2013 1:49 am
I’ll tell you a career defining fight Quillin. Fight Golovkin. That will define your career. Not in the way you would like … Kind of the way Carlos Monzon defined Nino Benvenuti.Posted November 7, 2013 1:39 am
Too Salty, I’m accusing you of living in the ghetto and being horse stupid. Thoughts?Posted November 7, 2013 12:36 am
Too Salty, Kid Chocolate shares your confidence. That’s why he ducked a free shot at 3G’s WBA strap when he offered him one. This was before Chocolate had a belt of his own. Before the TV network cold war, which he’s now hiding behind. And back when he was ”desperate for a title shot”.
He’s also been avoiding 3G like the plague ever since then too, hiding behind a litany of flimsy and contradictory excuses that no one believes, each of which you would already know if you actually had a clue what you’re talking about. Don’t make me have to unzip my fly and have to go into rape mode on your assPosted November 7, 2013 12:34 am
Quillin is a terrible fighter, he would lose against any top 155 or 160 fightersPosted November 7, 2013 12:26 am
Quillin was having lots of problems with Rosado… I’m not sure how well he’ll fare with the elite.Posted November 7, 2013 12:15 am
Cotto vs Martinez….another beating 4 Cotto by a mexican? Sergio is from Argentina…If kid chocolate wants a defining fight im sure GGG will put his belt on the line, unification fight should b defining enough.Posted November 7, 2013 12:05 am
is there a demand to watch Quillen box? Let him box pirog or that Lemieux. who cares. who is quillen?Posted November 6, 2013 11:22 pm

Instead of trying to fight a mega- fight with a top contender, I’d like to see this guy give his last opponent Rosada a rematch as i thought Quillian was having a difficult time with him and also, I think Quiilian would lose to him if they ever fought again. I wasn’t too impressed with Quillian performance … PEACE … boxingdictionary.comPosted November 6, 2013 11:07 pm

Quillen is selling junk headphones and marked up tshirts because he can’t even headline a card in NYC. NYC fans and boxers know about quillen. He is a hype job. He doesn’t know if he is a thug or a role model. He is a fake loudmouth . He almost lost the fight to dam dispite the fact that he scored 6 knockdowns. Kid no fans quillen. Fake gangsterPosted November 6, 2013 10:49 pm

Brace yourself Cotto fans you might be witnessing your worse nightmares, Miguel getting another beat down at the hands of a mexican fighter..jajajajajajja! I doubt Uncle D*ck head beats Schaefer’s offer to go ahead with MartinezPosted November 6, 2013 10:10 pm
He should fight GGG. Not saying Rosado shouldn’t get a rematch but I had him down that fight and he was stopped by a punch. He should fight GGG and then win or lose rematch RosadoPosted November 6, 2013 9:41 pm
Didn’t realize his missus had a miscarriage; horrible news and I’m sure that would have a psychological effect during fight preparation.
That being said, Quillin’s first move should be a rematch with Rosado. He really needs to prove that he can overcome that level of competition handily, because frankly, he was lucky to open up the cut like he did.
After the Rosado fight (assuming Quillin wins), if the network issue is ruining potential bouts then why not aim for a fight with the winner of Sturm/Barker over in Europe? If Sturm wins, then a fight in Germany would probably earn him more than most fights in the US (though if history is any indication, Sturm probably won’t be too keen on the fight). Barker in the UK could turnover some decent cash too.
But he’d still have some time to wait either way. I honestly believe that Martinez-Golovkin happens in late 2014 (assuming neither loses prior to that). The hype around Golovkin is becoming too much for HBO or Martinez to ignore.Posted November 6, 2013 9:25 pm
Held prisoner? More like Quillen is being held and coddled.Posted November 6, 2013 9:24 pm
Beat GGG or Martinez and your career will be defined.Posted November 6, 2013 9:18 pm
GGG is not the Fight you want to define your career with SO maybe you’d better angle for a Big Jr MW com I ng UP like Canelo.Posted November 6, 2013 9:11 pm
Quillen is waiting for a career defining fight? So are we peter! Lol. Fight somebody already! Triple g, martinez, canelo, anybody!Posted November 6, 2013 8:31 pm
GGG is waiting for you Chocolate.Posted November 6, 2013 8:28 pm
Quillin is lucky dude got cut, he was on his way to losing. I under estimated Rosado. I’d like to see a rematch.Posted November 6, 2013 8:11 pm
This network stuff is just a “Oh my mommy won’t let me out” excuse.
Quillin will get a beating off of GGG that would make Rodney King wince.Posted November 6, 2013 7:52 pm
Quillin is not a prisoner of the networks, Quillin and their team won’t fight the top fighters, keep fighting lower tier fighters, he should fight Golovkin, he will be in prison in the squared circle then, nowhere to go, then his bail will be stopped.Posted November 6, 2013 7:43 pm
GGG can also smack the p!$$ out of Rosado without needing a gift from the doctorPosted November 6, 2013 7:20 pm
The salty very funny I wonder how long did you follow boxing I’ve been following boxing for 15 years so just to help you out he is a plus fighter:)Posted November 6, 2013 7:18 pm

Quillin if you aren`t going to get in the ring and take your Kazak whupping, then just STFU.
Noone cares.Posted November 6, 2013 6:34 pm
Quinlin us all bark. Ggg sparks him out.Posted November 6, 2013 6:29 pm
I think PQ beats GGG. Neither boxes vey well, but GGG is not using a jab on a really short short short guy either. I noticed he cant box at all going backwards easy fight for PQ/Martinez. GGG is a GOOD C+ fighter he is no monster by any means so stop yall.Posted November 6, 2013 6:29 pm
I think PQ won the fight very easy. the momentum did change, but Rasado was not landing as much as he was talking and trying to be muncho/tuff. Did he deserve to keep going yes, but thats not PQ fault
Quillin – sorry.Posted November 6, 2013 6:13 pm
