Screw Amir Khan his nothing but a mere con.

gavin beats khan now imo he a great talent

Posted September 18, 2013 7:55 am

Nobody would buy Khan v Mayweather on PPV
Even Mrs Khan and his family know that

Khan has a chin moulded of the finest bone china,
if he shaves himself too hard he has to go down on one knee

Posted September 18, 2013 4:14 am

Mick that makes sense to us but in Ami Khans head he was beyond Euro level a while back, Alexander will beat him.

Posted September 18, 2013 3:57 am

YES. He needs to start chasing the Wizard of Oz and ask him for a new Chinny CHIN CHIN.

Posted September 17, 2013 6:57 pm

Mick the Marmalizer

Gavin should fight Khan. However Amir needs to bring something to the table. I suggest team Khan target the EBU championship & if successful a British, European & Commonwealth title fight would make a lot of sense doubling up as a final World championship eliminator. PBF has stated that he wants to fight in the UK(unlike Andre Ward) so who know?

It doesn’t matter whether or not Khan deserves the fight or has a chance to beat Mayweather,,it would be an ENORMOUS event in the UK to have the #1 P4P in the world fighting there for the first time.

Floyd must fight a domestic British born boxer in order to generate big money and who else is there that has the name and would generate huge interest?

Mayweather – Khan would fill a stadium, do enormous British + American PPV numbers, it would make Showtime execs very happy, makes a ton of sense.

All this goes down the drain however if Khan’s glass jaw gets broken by Devons pillow fists!

There is a nightmare scenario here though. Great as he is, Mayweather can’t just go on forever… What if he decides to make that one fight too many… And Khan is there, right place, right time… And he manages to scamble some sort of win out of it. Can you just IMAGINE the words that would be tumbling out of his mouth then? [Shudder]. Doesn’t bear thinking about…

Posted September 17, 2013 7:30 am

NOT TO WORRY, even if he does fluke a win it’s almost a certainty he will get KAYOED in his next outing!

Khan’t blame a guy for trying.

Posted September 17, 2013 10:30 am

Khan gets KTFO by Prescott and Garcia, outboxed by Peterson (and hasn’t yet tried to avenge a single one of these losses), squeaks by Maidana an goes life and death with Diaz. And has the GALL to say he can beat Floyd? Stop begging for a payday you don’t deserve, Khan. At least Canelo beat all of his opponents. You still haven’t made your defeats right with the men who beat you.

kahn isgood at running.

poor ol Amir living in a different world to the rest of us.

Posted September 17, 2013 5:41 am

Its true what Gavin says there’s at least two other welters in UK that could probably beat him. Gavin and Brooke so why does Khan deserve a shot? quite simply he doesnt but in all honesty to the less knowledgeable it could seem like a viable fight if Khan beats Alexander for the IBF crown, it wouldnt surprise me it it happened in UK.

Yeah Khan vs Matthyesse, good comeback KO for Matthyesse.

Posted September 17, 2013 3:42 am

Mick because he wants to win the Lonsdale belt outright first.

Posted September 17, 2013 3:39 am

Mick the Marmalizer

Why hasn’t Gavin secured a EBU title fight yet?

Posted September 17, 2013 3:26 am

Terence Crawford v Floyd Mayweather at 147. That would be good match up. Crawford is a brilliant boxer and has the ability to beat Mayweather.

Floyd should forget about Manny, there’s no way Manny can beat Floyd. It would be totally one sided and Floyd would KO him.

Posted September 16, 2013 6:34 pm

Matthysse v Khan. Unless Khan boxes carefully for 12 rounds, he’ll be laid out like a tablecloth!!

Posted September 16, 2013 6:23 pm

Khan gets stopped by Mayweather. Floyd is too quick, in and out, sideways, has good stamina and has too good a chin. For real.

Q – Public Enemy-Sredmond 3 mosqueteras

Pacquioa vs Mayweather. No one else left that can challenge Mayweather.

Posted September 16, 2013 6:18 pm

Q – Public Enemy-Sredmond 3 mosqueteras

Khan vs Matthysse then he can fight Pacquioa.

Fight Aficionado

Gavin’s correct of course. Khan needs to salvage his career. That’s where he’s at, he’s not in a conversation about fighting PFP guys.

Posted September 16, 2013 5:14 pm

Squared circle; the only ‘brits’ who wanna watch khan fight are his family

Posted September 16, 2013 5:10 pm

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)

Gavin is 100% right tbat. FMJ should never Khan, period. It would be an absolute cakewalk, and not even competitive. Maybe alot of Brits want to see it, but very outside the UK want to see this total mismatch.

Posted September 16, 2013 5:08 pm

Frankie gavin is an absolutely fantastic boxer. World amateur champion too. He had a few shakey fights early on but hes sorted out his personal life now and it shows inside the ring. Ge destroyed denton vassels face last time out, and vassel was a highly touted and talented boxer. Frankie is britains best welterweight and a future world champion imo.

Posted September 16, 2013 5:02 pm

TRUTH is there are two British Welterweights who I feel right now would beat Amir and they are SPECIAL K KELLY BROOK and FUNTIME FRANKIE GAVIN….

Special K Kel Brook!

(Damn that predictive text)!

Posted September 16, 2013 4:30 pm

Amir Khan needs to stop getting beat up by C level fighters first…

Posted September 16, 2013 4:30 pm

SERIOUSLY KHAN should match against PACMAN and the winner gets FLOYD…. Having said this Khan will probably be outboxed, out thought and out skilled by DEVON ALEXANDER.

But, if he someow gets past DEVON he should meet his old gym mate PACMAN, who Khan was happy to tell anyone he made look like a mug in sparring sessions.

Khan is a GOLDEN BOY fighter and is why OSCAR and his cronies continue to push him into the spotlight even though he is undeserving…..

I would like to see both ROB Arum and GBP throw their dice on the table and let their charges meet as a prelude to winner faces FLOYD for all he marbles.

KHAN was promised straight after GARCIA that he would get the gig with FLOYD if somehow he can get some wins and remain unbeaten….As poor as he is in the Ring IQ area he s very marketable in the dollars sense….

GBP saw how many people were prepared to travel with Ricky and Joe and are banking on tens of thousands of Brits forking out their redundancy packages to come to Vegas and blowing their wads to support AMIR….

TRUTH is there are two British Welterweights who I feel right now would beat Amir and they are SPECIAL K KELLY BROOK and FUNTIME FRANKIE GAVIN….

Khan will get a crack at May, even if he loses to DEVON, Golden Boy will find some angle to get that wriggly worm back on the hook and make some money out f him before tossing him to the kerb, like a used c*ndom……

Double standards. Stop chasing mayweather and ill chase you. This guys another bum

Posted September 16, 2013 3:04 pm

The Mad Scientist

Try getting past Danny Garcia first A mere Con..

Posted September 16, 2013 2:54 pm

So this proves that Floyd can handle a big opponent like Canelo with ease so why don’t he move up in weight, I’m pretty sure GGG would love to fight him at the 154 weight for Floyd WBC jr.middleweight belt he just won from Canelo……Because Floyd has Nothing more to prove in the welterweight or Lighterweight division.

Posted September 16, 2013 2:39 pm

Says Frankie “The Nobody” Gavin…….! I think this Gavin Chap should fight Brook or Theophane.

Posted September 16, 2013 2:33 pm

Mr Gav

First khan has to get passed Alexander which I think will end up khan getting knocked out. But if he last the 12 rounds I think khan will end up with a gift decision (if cj Ross is judgeing). As for khan fighting may weather I think khan will get knocked out but will put up more of a fight that canelo did. As for welter weights kell brook is our best I hope to see a lot more of him soon. Other than that a great card of boxing looking forward to it

Posted September 16, 2013 2:24 pm

Garcia should get a crack at money may, after all he keeps wining and hes not backed by the usual BS hype machine(apart from his dad of corse)he turns up and does a job, don’t think he would have any chance but who would? khan is a bum and he hasn’t got by Alexander yet,why the feck he keeps relevant in the division is beyond me,I disagree that he has alot of support most people a know only watch him to see him get KTFO.i would go as far as to say if the fight with khant happens in the UK the majority of support would be for Floyd.

Posted September 16, 2013 2:07 pm

Posted September 16, 2013 2:03 pm

Public Enemy

Khan can fight Matthysee next..

Posted September 16, 2013 2:01 pm

Public Enemy

Khan is just looking for a Monster payday like Canelo got.. Can’t blame him for that but it would be just as silly and end the same in the humiliating fashion probably by KO.

Posted September 16, 2013 1:52 pm

His mouth gets hims him into trouble……BUT he does get a bad press, not to mention the timing with events in his career. He was totally robbed against Peterson, and then (while he was out boxing Danny) suddenly decided to exchange hooks with him. He is one of the fastest boxers in the world and should use this to his advantage, and when he gets it right actually looks quite good. He wouldn’t beat Floyd but with his speed and not looking for the KO may actually give Floyd something extra to think about. This is interesting and I wouldn’t be surprised if it materializes, and Floyd said he wants to fight in the UK,

Posted September 16, 2013 1:36 pm

Khan is a joke! Mayweather would obviously take a fight with him due to the money that can be made. Khan has a lot of supporters, but realistically, his glass jaw and style of fighting would end in disaster. Khan shouldn’t even be mentioned, but $$$$ talks.

Posted September 16, 2013 1:33 pm

Khan may not beat alexander! Money vs alexander is an interesting matchup. Floyd has had trouble w southpaws in the past. See chop chop n zab both rocked floyd. Interesting potential matchup!

Posted September 16, 2013 1:25 pm

Posted September 16, 2013 1:19 pm

I meant passed Garcia, not Diaz…he struggled with Diaz though.

Posted September 16, 2013 1:13 pm

He couldn’t get passed Diaz, hasn’t fought a rematch with Peterson after his “loss” and hasn’t fought Matthysse…..and, he wants Floyd? Bwahahaha! That’s comical

Posted September 16, 2013 1:12 pm

Posted September 16, 2013 1:04 pm

So this means that Floyd should step up in Weight for he has nothing more to prove against the smaller weight fighters if he can beat up a big kid like Canelo. Khan or anybody in Khan weight will Not stand a Chance against Floyd.

Posted September 16, 2013 12:52 pm

Marcelo – Manchester – Uk

He is so deluded,

being ko’d by Garcia, then coming back to be dropped and struggle against two blown up lightweights just to give him some confidence and a win… how the hell does that justify him mentioning mayweather when Garcia just beat Mathysse who I know can would go anywhere near…

he has to beat Garcia, Peterson, mathysse or any other top level gys before he can even begin to actually believe he deserves a shot…

im starting to really get sick of all his talking now, I hope someone smashes him ko lights out and shuts him up and retires him for good cos hes really starting to make himself a laughing stock the more he keeps talking…. Devon alexander will finish him!!!

Posted September 16, 2013 12:51 pm

I like watching Khan fight, I always wonder when it’s going to happen. When the other guy is going to pop him on the whiskers and he does his dance. Khan is a gate keeper at best, his glass jaw will always prevent him from going to the top and staying there.
