Be sure and run that by him the next time you see him…

Arreola is a tub of Lard.

BG Boxing

Areola v Mitchel would be a great start to the festivities, and I would rather see Smith v Molina than Lara v Trout. I dont know what this writer is talking about but Lara v Trout sounds to me like a bore fest.

Fireworks from Arreola would make for an early exit from Mitchell. That is unless Seth Mitchell stinks the place out like he did against Banks in the rematch and looks to avoid any and all exchanges.

Be good matches. Mitchel won the rematch with Banks but didn’t look good doing it. No telling what will happen if Arreola catches him on the chin. Arreola sure took a beating by a guy I thought he would beat last time out.

I like Arreola by KO within five rounds if the Mitchell fight happens.

Slim Whitman has the beat

No, FA, not really, because the first time CA connects, Mitchell will be done.

Fight Aficionado

Another possible fight but nothing confirmed. In any case Arreola vs Mitchell would be a banging fight if it happens. Both are entertaining sluggers with flaws that could result in some serious fireworks.

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)

I’d much rather Trout Vs. Lara on this card. Mitchell sux and Arreola isn’t much better.

Should be an easy KO for Chris Arreola , SethMitchel is to slow and stiff for to give ChrisArreola any trouble, and besides SethMitchel has a glass jaw, and a decent puncher, but not great. There is no way SethMitchel could hurt ChrisArreola, since ChrisArreola has a good chin. SethMitchels only good win was against a TemorIbraginov a fringe contender on his best days. But before the fight looked shopworn .

Also I think Lara will beat Trout.

Arreola will KO Mitchell. Too tough with too much experience. I think Mitchell weighs about 220, if he can get down to 200, I think he could do much better at cruiserweight, but that is a lot of weight to cut for a naturally big man.

Posted July 20, 2013 2:19 pm

Mitchel needs to take his change that he already made and invest in an forother career. he is not cut for boxing. predicting a serious mauling by Chris Mammaries. Also, Lara will punish trout

Gonzo the Dragonborn

Arreola will spank Mitchell in a few rounds if he has 50% of what he used to have left.

Slim Whitman

This would be a great card.

This would be a great fight for Arreola… Good confidence builder, good name for his resume. Seth has a shaky chin, Chris will knock him out! Trout Lara is a pick em fight..

Posted July 20, 2013 9:39 am

both these fighters would be an easy KO for abdusalamov

The wbc ratings I’m looking at may be outdated but they show Mitchell as #2 and Chris As #3. We could see a rematch of Chris vs, Stiverme for a vacant title, just conjecture.

Posted July 20, 2013 7:01 am

Still nothing for Vitali vs. Stiverme it appears. The older K-bro turned 42 yesterday, maybe it won’t happen.

Arreola hasnt had the same punching power since he trimmed down from his heaviest weight

I think Arreola knocks him out even if he isn’t in shape. I am not looking to get a great meaningful fight to open this show as heavyweight fights of that nature make enough money on their own but a knockout to start the show by some big boys will get the casual fan’s attention right away.

Posted July 20, 2013 12:33 am

Another heavyweight fight that really has little top-level meaning. Mitchell has already been exposed and Arreola is damaged goods, albeit IF he shows up in shape, and that’s a VERY BIG IF, he should probably have too much for Mitchell, or at least outlast him. Sadly, most US heavies don’t inspire me that much but credit to these two for actually looking to match someone of a level that the likes of Scott and Wilder haven’t.

Don’t think the Arreola vs Mitchel fight would last long. Mitchell would be KOd inside of 4 rounds
