Chavez Jr looks like a light heavyweight

HBO PPV. I wish HBO would get out of boxing entirerly, please let Showtime and Epix have it all. HBO has ruined boxing with this PPV crap, I remember when the big fights would come on regualr TV for everyone to see. The quality of fights HBO has shown over the last few years have been poor. I see HBO digging at the bottom of the barrel for fighters, these fighters will get blown up by HBO, then loose and then you will never hear from them. Heck if I was a fighter I would refuse to let HBO televise my fights.

BTW who in the heck would watch these two on PPV. Both are garbage shot fighters who have never faced top level competition like Andre Ward.

pacquiao and mayweather need to grow some balls like Martinez and Chavez, Jr

I’m buying this because this is the BEST fight that can be made at 160lbs…not to mention Martinez is ALWAYS fun to watch! He’s been doing work for years and he deserves this PPV $$ and I am more than happy to support him…I’m not a fan of Chavez, but he too gets credit and I’m hoping for a good fight.

I can not wait for Martinez to expose the fake Chavez Jr. I hope Chavez Jr. goes down as Paul William face down.

I am not buying this crap. Chavez doesn’t train. I don’t even think he will make weight. All I see him doing is eating and swining and training when he wants to. This is not how you prepare for the most important fight of your life. Even if he does make weight, they allow him to hydrate close to 200lbs. That is bs. He is slow and I think he is a fraud. He either gets knockout or losses in a lopsided decision.

M. Mendoza

Martinez is a tough boxer in a smart way — he will at least pull off a decision whether split or majority because the judges will at least give some points to Chavez Jr. because of his super-aggressive style. Although not as gifted as Martinez, the size of Chavez compounded by his stalking style and punching power is his insurance that he will not be stopped.

will not buy it – Martinez dominates and Chavez is not a PPV-worthy talent.

I agree with everybody, there is going to be a humillating knockout, and I feel sorry for the loser, who is going back to Argentina crying like a girl. I think Sergio could still sell tickets over there as a strip dancer.

I didn’t realize Mike Lee was fighting. I’m still debating on purchasing this one. I wish the Rigondeaux fight was still on the card. It would have made the decision easier.
