LMFAO. Go take a recognition class. ANYONE who has any recognition can tell that I didn’t take Kessler. I took Froch and I was CORRECT yet again. SO go take a recognition class. I’m SO GREAT that I’ve got Nut Sack Garglers.

Incorrect again Boxtra… Froch won by by a very clear victory and you made your “airtight” prediction when the outcome was obvious.

I hate Hopkins ……BUT….he embarrasses the winner of this fight. Everyone thinks they are going to beat the old man but besides Joes close exciting win and Dawsons ez boring win the rest get schooled. They lost ez to Ward who is the only guy Hops wants no part of because Ward is a younger stronger version of him.

Shattered dreams, primetime had the PPV rights for the whole super 6, not a lot sky could have done about it. Then when primetime made a mess of it sky took over. This fight has sold almost half a million ppv, and the orders are still rolling in, so Yeh it is a huge ppv event.

Kessler deservedly got the nod in the first fight, but I tip Froch to make it 1-1 tonight. It’s always an advantage to fight at home if the boxers are pretty much evenly matched.

Tell you what, you cant beat a British title fight for entertainment. They should be trying to sell them to America. I’d say 50-60% of the time there wars. 90% of the time there between two evenly matched pros. The reason being as there taken more seriously than euro title fights in this country. It’s the most seriously taken national title there is, you don’t get handed a Lonsdale belt that’s for sure.

Junior…Sky are hyping this fight as a ppv must see event yet they did’nt show the first fight 3 years ago Primetime did. Sky do a first rate job when they show fights but they do tend to focus too much on domestic talent and not the world scene. Froch is a heart and soul fighter but his recent sucess is being milked for all it’s worth, major world titles fights are getting ignored by Sky because UK based fighters are’nt involved. Kessler is eyeing retirement while Froch is talking Andre Ward that speaks volumes, the real fight happend three years ago and it was a good one. This fight is just a good way of making money off a pretentious rivalry.

Unstoppable

First, the first fight wasn’t that close. 117-111 was right on the mark and we generally don’t call that kind of score “close”
Second, after the first fight, Kessler had to take time off to recover properly from the eye-injury he got from the repeated “accidental” headbutts he got in Oakland. Kessler’s vision was blurred the entire first froch fight and the Dane had to drop out of super six to have it fixed.
Third, now Kessler’s eyesight is fine again so I expect to see the schooling of Froch that I predicted inthe first fight, not knowing Kessler’s medical predicament.

Kessler is faster on his feet and hands. He trows and lands more punches than froch and has better defensive skills and better ringmanship.

In a neutrally judged contest, Kessler will win a points decision every time.

So, I’ll go with Froch UD or Kessler inside 7

Shattered, the relevance of this fight is that its the most entertaining and competitive fight to be made in the division. Ward is number 1 YES, BUT he isn’t exactly top quality entertainment. Kessler and Froch have beaten everyone else, and there first encounter was close enough to warrant a rematch. I cant pick the winner

Shatterd Dreams

I don’t think Kessler has the bigger point to prove he’s already beaten Froch, this fight and event is really all about Froch. If Froch beats Kessler he can continue his pursuit of Ward, if Kessler wins and retires he proves that he’s better then Froch but it does’nt prove he’s the best super middle weight being that Ward is clearly the man to beat in the divsion. The more meaningful matchup for Kessler especially if it his last fight would have been a rematch with Ward. If Froch had gotten the decision vs Kessler in Denmark 3 years ago would he be chasing a rematch with Kessler? I must don’t see the real relevance of this matchup.

Froch is bookies favourite but WE all know its a 50/50 fight.

I think this fight and the ppv event as a whole has touch of the inevitable about it. With Froch eyeing future fights and Kessler seriously eyeing retirement i think it points to a Froch victory, it lacks the edge of the first fight. The event is being sold as hyped up grudge match but it’s really a Froch, Bellew, and Groves showcase.

Once again I was told that I was posting too fast. I can’t believe it! No matter which man wins tonight, the fans and boxing are the winners.

I agree with you on picking a Kessler victory. But I reckon, this flat footed version of the Dane will be looking for the KO. Kessler by stoppage in the middle rounds. And now I’m off to place my bet, and then heading to the O2 nice and early to soak up the atomosphere. A couple of pints of Carlsberg are in order before the gates open:) I’m sure Calzaghe and plenty of other Welshmen like myself will be rooting for Kessler. I respect both fighters though and hope both put on the best performance they can – may the best man win! But we all have our favourite fighters…I’m sure it’ll be a great fight….c’mon Kessler!!!
