Make no mistake, Floyd is in a class all by himself, period. The only problem with this fight is weight, what people need to be asking is, why is Canelo fighting in the 154 weight class. It is a clear fact that fight night he comes in at 170-172, Floyd will be at 153-154 at best. Those who never laced them up or rolled around on a mat trying to pin someone are the ones saying Floyd is ducking Canelo. Brother, put yourself on a scale at home, now go grab your buddy at work that weighs 17 to 18 pounds more than you and tussle with him for a bit. See for yourself. Floyd should make Canelo agree to not come in fight night more than 156-157. If your fighting and Champ at 154 then fight that weight, come on gents.

What’s the problem with Floyd’s haters. Obviously can’t use logic or your love for what ever boxer you like clouds your common sense. It’s all good cause you will be the same person paying to watch Floyd loses. The problem is you are still paying Floyd to watch. Lol

i just read where schaffer is saying that they are in talks of mayweather going up and fighting at 154,i don’t like the fact that in order to keep some of you haters temporarily quiet he has to go up in weight and fight a light heavy weight come fight night, when he gets the nod i’m guaranteeing another excuse of why he isn’t that good and another name tossed in the pot of Mayweather destroyers, you clowns!….Eazy!

Cotto called out Floyd and they fought at 154lbs.

As for the possible Floyd-Canelo matchup, Floyd should move up in weight b/c he will already be the favorite. I’m tired of seeing Floyd in fights where he is a heavy favorite going in. If he beats Canelo at 154 that would be some accomplishment. Hopkins is the best, b/c every Hopkins fight its like “how is he gonna pull this one off against a bigger, stronger, younger man.” If Floyd is so great, how about some of the same kind of wins?

Sweet! Love it when a good card comes to SA. I had to pass up the recent Canelo-Trout card b/c the undercard was really lackluster. Not the case here.

terror tim

Canelo started his career at welterweight.

Floyd won the title, not the championship and he won it from someone that started his career at 140, just like Oscar who started his career at 135. Canelo started his career at 154 and comes in very heavy. Canelo also called out Floyd so he should be meeting Floyd. If Floyd called out Canelo then Floyd would need to move to Canelo.

Ive posted my comment but it is not showing up and it just keeps saying I am posting duplicat comments

No, Floyd is a 154lb titlest whom won the belt from Cotto whom started his carrer at 140. Same when he fought Oscar, he started his career at 135. Floyd started his career at 130. Canelo started his career at 154 and he comes in pretty heavy. And Canelo was the one who called Floyd out so he should go to Floyd and fight. If Floyd would of called out Canelo then Floyd would need to move up. As it is floyd walks around at like 150. As shown in his previous fights then he had at 154.

No, Floyd is a 154lb titlest who won the title from someone who used to fight at 140, 147 and now at 154. Same way when he beat Oscar, he fought someone who started out at 135. Canelo started his career at 154 and comes in pretty heavy. Heavier than Cotto or Oscar. Not to mention Canelo is the one who called apon Floyd. If Floyd called him out then I can see why he should move up but this is the other way around and Floyd has already moved up from 130, 135, 140, 147 and only made 2 appearances against fighters whom also moved up

Peej isn’t Floyd the 154 pound Champ ?

Posted May 15, 2013 11:21 pm

So Canelo calls out Floyd and Floyd is the one who needs to move up? Didn’t Dawson call out Ward?

Skin yourself alive

Floyd Mayweathers new terms for the Canelo fight, not 147.

Hold a chicken in the air, stick a deckchair up your nose, form a string quartet, fly a jumbo jet and pretend your name is keith, learn to speak araafaho, disembowl yourself with spears.

Tough fight for Berto after foul-master & Christian hypocrite Guerrero almost killed him…

Soto hasn’t been in top condition for quite a while now

Posted May 15, 2013 9:19 pm

Berto will have to resort to juicing to pull this one out it’s all good to save an Al Hayman fighter

Posted May 15, 2013 8:19 pm

May have to take Karass on this one
