The Klitschkos DON’T NEED America!

Redmonds response to that will be to break down what Mayweather just made for this last fight and what his contract with Showtime will pay him. None of which Mayweather is sharing with Redmond and none of which helps him sell his douchey self to the American public who vote with their wallets and leave blocks of seats empty for his sparring matches. Advice to Mayweather, get over to the UK. The chavs love you and would probably support you more than your fans in the ghettos of America that you have priced out of attending your live fights.

You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down.

Jerkoffs like MK can’t wrap their head around what hard work and dedication is so he assumes successful professional athletes must be on something.

“The Klits have been fighting for 16 years and cannot give away tickets in the US…”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WHO CARES what they do in the US when they sell out STADIUMS and receive strong television viewership in many parts of Europe? Americans can never wrap their heads around the fact that the whole world does not revolve around THEM. Boxing is better in other parts of the world anyways. The fans are more enthusiastic and appreciative of their fighters OUTSIDE of America. Europe, South America, Canada, you name it, it’s just better. Funny how this idiot is a Mayweather nuthugger and making comments about what other fighters sell. Mayweather couldn’t sell out a stadium anywhere in the world to save his life, has NEVER sold a single ticket outside of the US and in fact, The MGM Grand Arena had ENTIRE ROWS of seats available earlier in the week for today’s fight. The last person who should be talking about ticket sales is a Mayweather jock box. I guess the haters are getting desperate at this point since it has been almost 10 years since a Klitschko has lost.

I wonder what doctor WK works with, these days, Ward worked with Victor Conte (BALCO) up to the Kessler fight. There is too little doping controls in boxing.

Posted May 2, 2013 6:38 am

WK reminds me terribly of Andre Ward, and he looks like he is on the juice too. I never said that Vitaly wasn’t a hard hitter, when he was younger.

I said that WK couldn’t throw a clean punch, if his mother helped him, he has his jab, and unclean punches. His opponents consists of beer belly americans, and eastern european bums. Rematches is the most natural thing in boxing.

Posted May 2, 2013 6:34 am

The Klits have been fighting for 16 years and cannot give away tickets in the US…. Ward is buidling his presence doing telecasts for HBO and Showtime setting himself up for the future.. More importantly he is dominating a class of opponent in his division that is FAR superior to the sparring partners, OLD men, and Cruisers that the Klits are now routinely selling to their fans in Germany… Carl Froch, Mikkel Kessler, Bika, Abraham, Chad Dawson ALL World Class fighters and 3 or 4 have been or were Champions before they faced Andre SOG Ward… Wards undefeated not getting knocked out left and right like Wlad was by the time he was Wards age… Wards got a long way to go be he accomplished WAY more than the Klits has by this age…. Vitali was 31 or 32 getting stopped by Lewis, Ward was underdog in the Super 6 and drew the FAVORITE in the first round (Kessler) who had fought Calzaghe competitively… Ward beat him up and stopped him for the first time in his career he made Kessler look like a novice… Wlad at 28 was what? being asked to retire by Vitali? because he had recently been stopped 2x in 5 fights by a golpher and a B fighter he was supposed to beat (Brewster)

Posted May 1, 2013 10:15 am

I just don’t get it. Lennox is the best. Vitali is the best, no lennox. Phuuuuxing girls. Cant you just agree both the Kbros and LL are freaking beast. They are tall, athletic highly skilled power boxers. The best style for modern heavies. Simple respect they both.

The Ticket Guy

Tickets moving briskly in Mannheim! However, things not going so well in Las Vegas where entire rows are available just hours before the first bell!

Nobody will watch ward fight. But the klitschkos fill stadiums fighting pianetta and mormek in mere money making voluntaries. Third biggest purse bid for wlad vs povetkin and who came in the wrong era? Bahahahahah! Garbage son. Moneys good for mayweather but no the klitschkos. Attention folks we havea flip flopper I’m sure u know who it is. Who did holmes fight? A washed up clay? Yep. Now wlads gonna pass that cat up in the ecord books and espn and skysports will be all over it. Vitaly is already a record and tatistical BEAST so thehaters got clean sheeted. Like vitaly outlanding lennox every round and 4 rounds with one eye. Ouch!!!

Posted April 30, 2013 10:46 pm

wlad vs wach was an awesome fight. Rafael thought so. People were writing off thompson then he shocked price and immediately added moore value to an already decent scalp. Klitschkos are always exciting right out of the gate they are landing klitschko signature sauce power shots until the end. And u know any of those shots could drop a guy like charr in less than 3 rounds. Had charr been dropped. Its funny brewster had never been knocked down in fight 1 with wlad and wlad dropped him twice. The funny thing is brewster never knocked down the zombie that was wlad. Then fight 2 summed everything up nicely as wlad pickedup where he left off given brewster the beatdown. Nobody buys wards garbage while wlad vs povetkin is the 3rd largest purse bid of ALL TIME. Feed on it haters boo yah

Posted April 30, 2013 9:35 pm

Farmboxer, the Klits have talent and they can fight but alas they are BORING from a stylistic perspective and the quality of their foes is the nail in the coffin.. NO ONE absent their German fans is getting pumped for Mormeck, Charr, OLD Thompson, Pianeta, Sosnowski, King Pin Johnson, and Gomes…. Real is Real the Klits just did NOT take over at the right time!

Posted April 30, 2013 9:13 pm

Andre Ward is an undefeated fighter who has CLEANED out his division… He is lining up fights with quality foes and certainly NOT absorbing 3 TKO losses by the time he was 28 like Wlad did… Wlads compiling a nice record at HW but he should have learned to clinch EARLIER or he would not be known as the HW Champ with perhaps the WEAKEST chin during his prime years….

Posted April 30, 2013 9:11 pm

i was watching Pianeta on youtube, Klit has very low chance to loose. I hope to watch Klit to annihilate Povetkin. Povetkin deserves to be beaten in front of Moscow crowd. I really do not like him. Only problem, Klit looks too confident in his interview, and there is no Emanuel Stuart to put him down. And Italian fighters are not Franch, and he was Klit’s sparring partner.

Posted April 30, 2013 5:25 pm

Rematches are for guys who could NOT win the first time out (Vitali Klitschko) but then again Vitali needed or hoped for Lewis to be older and a little more out of shape so he could get his face flayed in 8 rounds instead of 6, a 2 round… Sorry guys Vitali had his shot and he simply could not cut it…. We see him ducking a Cruiserweight trying to scavenge the dead HW ranks for a decent name before he goes and becomes a City Councilman in the Ukraine or whatever his aspirations are… Meanwhile Lewis gave a BIG prime future HW Champion a shot and sent him packing…. LL the thorn that will NEVER get out of Vitalis side!

Posted April 30, 2013 4:31 pm

Wlad and Lennox have different assetts Lewis is a FAR tougher and meaner boxer than Wlad Klitschko who is terrified of contact… Lewis is a BETTER infighter than Wlad and did not have the inclination to carry guys beyond a certain point he sought to destroy… Lewis gave Holy MORE punch variety to think about than Wlad who is pretty much a jab right hand occasional left hook fighter… Lewis has a smoking uppercut, straight right, hooks and was capable of body work…. Holy would have a tough fight with Wlad but if he could get the younger Klit into later rounds in an action fight there is no telling if Wlad would have another attack of “Poison” or Don King putting him in an imaginary chokehold! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Posted April 30, 2013 4:22 pm

Klits are might be are good boxers, but do not compare them with someone who can box.

Posted April 30, 2013 4:11 pm

Even Haye, some small guy, terrified Wlad and definitely would murder Vitaly. Fat low skills Arreola has good chaces against Wlad, too bad he lost already.

Posted April 30, 2013 4:10 pm

Wlad is the best of two klits, and he lost to Sanders Brewster, lost to to mediocre boxers. Every great boxer would tear both Klits in peaces. Lewis in good shape would floor Wlad in second round and Vitaliy in 10th round. Tyson would scare Wlad and finish him in second round and KO Vitaliy in first.

Posted April 30, 2013 4:04 pm

I need to wipe my Tark better, it itches and smells funky

Haye against big George? That’s a good one.

Posted April 30, 2013 3:54 pm

Get all the anger out anti klitschko folks, get it all out…

Posted April 30, 2013 3:17 pm

Lewis here ali there, when are people going to accept that those guys are gone and arent coming back? Time to accept this.

Posted April 30, 2013 3:15 pm

Op Amp

yup! VK retired LL! LLs WEAK “victory” was NO way to finish his HOF career, but he had NO choice, as the Klitschko brothers had arrived in the HW division, and like we have all seen, OWNED it, for the next DECADE!

Posted April 30, 2013 1:37 pm

Rod the version of Foreman who destroyed Frazier and Norton was quite fast and accurate, I wouldn’t call him slow. I admit the version after Zaire was more vulnerable.

Posted April 30, 2013 12:56 pm

max baer not max bear

Posted April 30, 2013 12:44 pm

God I was looking at some of Max Bears fights, Garbage. Would not even be a good cruiser. Most of those old legends were working in factories and did boxing on the side for a bit of cash. They cannot compare with today guys but we will pretend they were hard men, they were unbeatable. They would be KTFO in quick time today.

Posted April 30, 2013 12:43 pm

In his last fight Wlad was hurt with only one punch from an inept bum
in wach who is nothing more than the new version of randall tex cobb. Except Cobb was a much better than wach with littel skills and better movements, wach is a stationnary giant punching ball and wlad struggle with him.

Posted April 30, 2013 12:40 pm

Time have changed. Foreman was a giant, a human wrecking machine. He would be a averaged sized to small heavy weight now and incredibly slow at that as well. The only chance he would have with either Kbro is to land one if his massive body punches to the ribs but he would be too slow to get past their jabs. He would also with his level of fitness not be able to fight an active high paced 12 rounds. If ali could KO him a K Bro definitely can.

Posted April 30, 2013 12:39 pm

Haye is way too fast for foreman. And after watching such fights as foreman vs lyle I think I would put my money on haye if they fought. But we have seen very little of haye at heavy so its hard to say. The only good fighter haye faced at heavy has been wlad and his fight was disgraceful and he was dominated in the boxgame

Posted April 30, 2013 12:30 pm

Foreman was the same size than Haye but unlike him he was a natural stronger heavyweight who hits harder with vicious hooks and uppercuts, and could take a punch better, the only issue was his stamina. He was fast in his prime and he knew how to cut ring. Haye
is a couterpuncher, he do it well but he would struggle and eventually be ko’ed against strong attackers like prime Foreman, or Tyson.

Posted April 30, 2013 12:25 pm

its obvious vitaly would ko holy. I think wlad would too

Posted April 30, 2013 12:11 pm

If lennox can defeat holy no doubt peak wlad can.

Posted April 30, 2013 12:10 pm

The Klitschkos are not the real problem in the division, they have just used their points of leverage to be a dominant team. I don’t understand why people want them to retire. The big problem is the quality of the rest of the field. There are fewer boxers globally today than in the past, they fight less often, they fight less rounds and the ‘best’ do not fight each other. Beyond that most of them can’t even be dedicated when training and are out of shape. This is not an evolution of any kind – you don’t get better at boxing by not fighting, not fighting anybody who will challenge you and improve you and you are not an ‘evolved super athlete’ if you don’t train and instead scoff buritos or swig Guiness. Boxing is a craft not a simple physical contest where ‘greatness’ is indicated by how tall you grew.

Posted April 30, 2013 12:01 pm

Foreman was taller, had a larger wingspan (which is more important in a sport controlled by the arms than the level off the ground of the tip of your fro) and weighed more. He was a bigger man than Haye. He was stornger, height doesn’t mean you are broad or strong – Tommy Hearns was alot taller than Mike Tyson for example. Boxing isn’t a height contest, it never has been. There have always been tall HW boxers. Most of the contenders in this era are overwight plodders – not 6’7 athletes like Wlad and most of the other tall guys around are not skilled like Wlad. Guys like Wach, Pinata, Fury etc are useless, irrespective of their height. Wlad is where he is because he is skillfull and disciplined. Watch the Stiverne Arreola fight and try and tell me that those guys are a physiological evolution of the human species. They look more like cavemen to me.

Posted April 30, 2013 11:47 am

The thing is that WK reminds me terribly of Andre Ward, jab, hold and move like a robot. WK even looks like he is on the juice too.

Posted April 30, 2013 11:41 am

“Big” George Foreman is the same size as Haye. HW’s in that era were nothing more than todays CW’s.

Posted April 30, 2013 11:35 am

K2Fan really tried to pass of Wlad’s quality by quoting Wachs suit measurements LOL!!! Wach is a fighter with NO real ranking in the World and until Klitschko pulled him out of a meatlocker and unthawed him for a beating NO ONE was discussing him… SAME with Charr and his now ex sparring partner Pianeta… Are you going to tell us how tall these other mopes are? Wach was TERRIBLE he was unbelievably slow and his balance was POOR he certainly did not look like he was ushering in a new era of athletic performance… I don’t think much of Wilder but he looked alot more light on his feet than Wach who fights like he has a couple of planets strapped to his boots…

Posted April 30, 2013 10:22 am

Peak Holyfield would have given Wlad HELL his chin is about 10x Wlads considering the quality of his foes and his size relative to them… Wlad could NEVER trade shots with Foreman, Tyson, Bowe 3x and Lennox Lewis 2x…. The ONLY guy to stop Holy in his prime was Big Daddy Bowe and he walked away from their encounters WORSE for wear..Would Wlad be a tough obstacle and in danger from Wlads right hand? Sure he would but Evander at his best KNEW how to fight and he had the kind of guts that Wlad is sorely lacking in…. During his prime you NEVER would see Evander laid out by a Corrie Sanders, Ross Purrity or Lamon Brewster he was taking a tough man like Mercer BEFORE Wlad got to the elderly version…. Holyfields resume speaks for itself 4X HW Champion, Undisputed and owning 2 wins over Mike Tyson… When did Wlad EVER get in the ring as a big underdog and surpass expectations? he ONLY got in as a favorite and UNDERPERFORMED expectations on 3 occasions….

Posted April 30, 2013 9:56 am

Wach is a NOBODY with a scant KO record and NO ONE is going to pass on the quality of Wlads chin due to Wach you would be better served saying he survived Peter putting him down.. Guys gave Lewis grief for his losses if you think that Wlads historically suspect chin is NOT gonna enter the convo you are crazy especially considering the relative low level of fighter and how deep in his career he was still getting stopped 45 fights….Foreman got stopped ONCE in 80 bouts by a GREAT HW, Holmes ONCE in 75 fights by a murderous HOF HW in his prime…. Sorry Wlads done well since learning to avoid the big one but those KO’s are part of the strikes against him…

Posted April 30, 2013 9:51 am

Wach is powder puff. Being 6’7 doesn’t automatically generate huge power – there is more to the craft of boxing and human physiology than that. I’d say that you’re the “simpleton” making simple ‘arguments’.

K-2- Fan

Boys will be boys . Whenever there is a Klitchko fight on the horizon , there
appear countless opinions regarding the ; outcome of the fight , the quality of the opponent , criticism of the ” boring ” Klitchko style , and of course , the
inevitable ” comparison ” , to the ” greats ” of the ” golden era ” or ” golden
eraS ” ( depending on your point of view ) . Few people here , are even
vaguely familiar how fights are made and negotiated , how and why certain
opponents are selected , and which people are ; able , qualified and WILLING ,
to become the next victim , excuse me , challenger . I refuse to address the
non issues of the ” glass chin ” and ” boring style ” , simply because they ARE
NON – issues . Only a simpleton , somebody with an agenda , or a ” boy ”
would insist that an undisputed Heavy Weight World Champion , could have
glass chin ( just think of the last fight , how many ” iron chins ” would be
tested by the flush right that the 6′ 7″ , 260 lbs , Wach hit Wlad in the 5 th . round ) . But the funniest and the strangest , are the comparisons with
the ” legends ” of the past . Defying all logic and common sense , these ” legends ” , grow stronger and more devastating with each passing year . It’s
not enough , that there are still those that are convinced that Ali would have
no trouble beating up on ” glass chinned ” Wlad , but there is a ” boy ” who
says ; ” I take a peak Holyfield over BOTH Klitchkos ” . That’s got to be
my favorite ! So , have a good time , boys ; we are all waiting for more of
your brilliant remarks .

Hans or Fraulein whatever your name is Vitali and Co LOVE Lewis in fact when they try to discuss Vitalis quality as a fighter they love to harken back to the night Lewis puree’ed his face.. INSTEAD of telling us about his BIG win….

Posted April 30, 2013 8:40 am

Prime Wlad vs Prime Vitali. I am beginning to think wlad by UD. He has more one punch power. Much faster on this feed and with his hands. Better jab than even Vitali. Vitali has the better chin and throws more volume but I think Wlad is just too athletic. Both are beast along with Lewis. Tall athletic power boxers who have great skills and know how to maximize this size. The new breed of Heavies.

undisputed Elena Lewis was NOT fool! he retired like a cowardly btch. refuse to earn more than 15.000.000 $ for the rematch. the btch he is.

Posted April 30, 2013 7:17 am

Klittard statement 1a: Lewis has a “glass chin” vs 1b: Vitali is a huge puncher with an incredible KO%. Worst Lewis bar possibly Rahman Lewis was hit flush over and over by Vitali yet did not go down. Klittard statement 2a: Lewis has a glass chin because he was knocked down once and was counted out once vs 2b: Wlads chin is not glass as he has been sat on his arse 14 times. Klittard statement 3a: Lewis lost to bums like Rahman vs 3b Wlad (who was green and poisoned etc) was ‘beaten on paper’ by ‘giant Killer’ Corrie Sanders. Rahman beat Sanders, if Rahman was so bad and light hitting how come he managed what Vitali couldn’t an KO Lewis. It would be easy to go on like this forever. I don’t see anything in Wlads historic performances to tell me that he could stay on his feet following the uppercut that Lewis hit his brother with and that being a past prime Lewis. I see plenty in Lewis’s record, he took big shots from huge punchers. Wlad has no physical advantage over Lewis, he would try and clinch, get manhandled (maybe even sliced up by Lewis’s ‘razor dreadlocks’) and hit with big shots like that uppercut. I can’t objectively see Wlad getting through it.

Posted April 30, 2013 7:08 am

Lewis ONLY needed 43 or 44 fights and he retired Undisputed HW Champion and won pretty much EVERY accolade you can attain… Wlad and Vitali have a BUNCH of names on their resumes and not a SINGLE fighter bound for the HOF because they quality of their foes has been low… Wlad did have a spate where he beat Brock, Byrd, Chambers, Chagaev and Ibragimov that was solid work but it has been YEARS since then and these last defenses have been ATROCIOUS and he is continuing with a former sparring partner…. Lewis B level guys like Tua, Grant, Mercer and Morrison were better than most of the BEST guys Wlad beat and definitely BETTER than the best guys that Vitali beat…. Thats why when Vitali discusses his career its NEVER long before one of Lewis testicles rolls out of his mouth… Whats he gonna discuss after that? Samuel Peter????? SNOOOOOORRRREEEE!!!

Posted April 30, 2013 6:55 am

yeah pulev-vlad is the fight I wanna see. but pulev-fury is just as wanted for me. can’t wait to witness the destruction of chatterbox fury from pulev’s hands. I wish that fury wont bail out of this one.

Posted April 30, 2013 6:50 am

Comment on Grant below meant for Tark NOT Bears… FACT is Tark that Lewis got Grant when he was unbeaten and highly ranked him losing to McCline later is irrelevant to Lewis blasting him when he was unbeaten AGAIN you are trying to indirectly tie him (Wlad) to Lewis nutsack and its SADLY NOT working…Lewis talking with Sanders means what exactly? Sanders is a HW NOBODY AGAIN the only night he had worth discussing was him upsetting Wlad Klitschko beyond that his career was unremarkable unless you want to talk about Hasim Rahman stopping him or Nate Tubbs? Sanders was beating WEAK comp in South Africa most of his career but of course a vacant intellect like Tark will tell us that South Africa is the BOXING MECCA of the World it produced PED user Botha and legless Olympian Pistorious of COURSE Sanders was secretly GREAT!!! Silly me LMAO!!

Posted April 30, 2013 6:50 am

man, pulev will be fighting tyson fury this year for the mandatory contender spot, it’s according IBF rules.

Posted April 30, 2013 6:45 am

I just cant freaking wait to see Pulev vs Wlad 2013. That Bulgarian is a beast. Povetkin is also a very tricky guy even with the man boobs

Posted April 30, 2013 6:43 am

I didn’t like mormek and charr also. but in near future we’ll, for sure, see fights against PULEV, WILDER, JENNINGS, POVETKIN, MAYBE STIVERNE. The good challenges are coming, we need to just wait a little bit.

man, I don’t like pianeta too. but the champ got to stay busy. nobody is available at this moment. you call the name!

Posted April 30, 2013 6:37 am

Bryd, Chargev, Igbragimov all quality, even old thomspon. The KBros are great but great champs should not be having warm up fights. I am a KBro fan and am starting to loose respect. Fights with Charr, Mormeck, Pianeta. Maybe a few years ago but now the division have alot of talent. Crap poor useless matchups fight for the championship belt.

The world champ should not have warm ups. He is the best in the world and needs to face the best contender out there otherwise the sport will suffer. Fight Toney or Fraudley next wlad. Come on 2013 Pulev Fury are waiting

Posted April 30, 2013 6:22 am

Fraudly should just freaking retire. He won gold, just hang up the gloves and get into sports commentating of something.

Posted April 30, 2013 6:20 am

Audley is a LAME but what the hell is Wlad warming up for? His next LIFE and who the hell is this big name fighter he is warming up for? Povetkin who has lost almost ALL respect and David Haye would clobber with ease? Povetkin used to have some buzz but his cowardice, tough nights with Cruisers (Huck) and beating on RELICs like Boswell and Rahman have left him as a guy everyone knows is cashing himself out against Wlad and thats about it…. He destroyed whatever intrigue might have been years ago….

Posted April 30, 2013 6:20 am

rod. pianeta, charr and mormek are WARM UPS. nobody argues. but you can’t find a bigger piece of sht than audley harrison.

Posted April 30, 2013 6:14 am

HaHaHa Lewis retired Undisputed HW Champion and as a parting gift to the sport he did a hatchett job on Vitalis mug with his right hand… The Klits are some very solid HOF fighters and Wlad is on quite a run but his legacy is being BADLY watered down by his recent run of opponents.. Dead bodies, old men, retreads and sparring partners… SHAMEFUL…. Vitali might as well retire we have pretty much forgotten hm it has been YEARS since he faced a big name opponent and has tried to build a rep off of lasting 6 rounds with Lennox Lewis then begging for a rematch with GAUZE hanging out of his face like a guy who’s parachute did NOT open…

Posted April 30, 2013 6:12 am

Wlad would NOT last 8 rounds with Lennox Lewis because like his brother vs the OLDEST version of Lewis seen in the ring he would have to get hit and his jab and grab style would be negated… I notice you said “this version of Wlad” you mean the one that appeared over 8 years after he began and Lewis had retired? He could have fought his way into position but he was getting splatted by nobodies and fighting for the lightly regarded WBO belt….Wlad is a talented fighter but he is also the beneficiary of not having to face or defeat ANY really hard assed big name fighters… He will do well facing guys like Pianeta, and Wach extending them long rounds… Lewis was last seen in the ring pounding a prime Vitalis face into MUSH during a pitched battle….

Posted April 30, 2013 6:09 am

Kbros are great no question. They are freaking beast. I just don’t like most of they guys who get in the ring with the. Pianeta, charr, mormeck. It’s like Harrison or James Toney will be their next opponent. Would Pianeta beat Stiverne, Arreola, Cunningham, Fury. Would Pianeta beat Thompson or even David Price or Lucas Browne. Hell I think Fraudley would take him. The same goes for charr and mormeck

Posted April 30, 2013 6:06 am

2Slick: In a fantastic fight, Sanders had Vitaly, in big trouble too. Sanders had both brothers in trouble. To me, Vitaly was always the talented one.
Therefore it says a lot that an older Lennox Lewis was getting to Vitaly, in topshape. Tyson, in his prime would have eaten WK for breakfast. I am not impressed by WK, in any way. WK jabs, holds and moves, it works, but is so damn boring.

Posted April 30, 2013 5:59 am

Posted April 30, 2013 5:57 am

Lewis was giving advice to Sanders to beat a potential big payday. Yeah it sounds like LL really wanted to dismantle WK. Sanders even said he was surprised by the phone call, its not like they are good friends or something.

Posted April 30, 2013 5:55 am

Lena Lewis was a very hittable boxer, his chin also was not a granite. Rahman and McCall are toasts with no devastating punch, but look what they did to Lena. even young Vladimir was very dangerous. as for current Vladimir, he is superior to Lena in every department such as power, hand speed, foot speed, attacking skills, especially defensive skills, biggest experience in superheavyweight division of all time. PRIME VLADIMIR KNOCKS LENA LEWIS OUT. Btw which Lewis was peak? at 35 he lost to Rahman.

Posted April 30, 2013 5:52 am

Farmboxer, you never know. Thinking about that 23million and povetkin might make him lose focus a bit. Emanuel Stewart ain’t around to keep things in perspective.

Posted April 30, 2013 5:51 am

Bears, really? where EXACTLY have I EVER called Michael Grant “Great” but he was UNDEFEATED, YOUNG 31-0 I believe and ranked #3 when Lennox Lewis CRUSHED him in a split second…. Corrie Sanders was a pudgy C level fighter who split time on the Golf Court… He was there for Wlad to pad his record with and keep it moving thats why it was UPSET of the year and whats so special about Sanders getting TKOed by Vitali? HE was SUPPOSED to he was not some sort of dynamo thats a myth you nutcases concocted to simultaneously mitigate Wlads embarassing 2nd round beatdown and somehow get Vitali some additional cache for doing his brothers dirty work… Absent Wlad, Sanders was beating up nobodies in South Africa in between being a caddy… Grim yet true reality RIP Sanders!

Posted April 30, 2013 5:50 am

Wlad got lucky when Sanders derailed him – if he’d have fought Lewis at that point he would have been in very big trouble. Purely conjecture but if full on destructo mode Lewis had got his hands on Wlad he could have come out the other side as damaged goods. SRED – Klit fans will always build Sanders into some mythical giant killer, all due respect to the man but the reality was Wlad was the only real giant he killed. As for Lennox and his talk, I remember him once saying Audley Harrison would become champion, he also likened David Haye to Ali; Lewis talks a lot but his opinions are not facts simply because he was a great fighter.

WK could lose this fight. In boxing one punch could change it all. Nobody expected Sanders to beat him, wlad was looking ahead to a showdown with LL.

Posted April 30, 2013 4:13 am

Peter-rabbit punches to the back of the head, purrity and brewster- gassed , Williamson – what a devastating kd (sarcasm). Only fighter who really checked wlads chin was sanders not a blown up cruiser weight.

tyson fury is a soft pus sy. Pulev will degrade that cheap chatterbox kid

Posted April 30, 2013 3:04 am

SREDMOND: Sanders Koed WK and gave Vitaly one hell of a fight, in that wild and crazy Tyson Fury style, he was much tougher than all those fat american HWs. I am not saying that Fury could beat WK, who possible have that weak chin, still, I am saying that he is one of the few interesting challengers. And he is doping free.

peak holyfield over PEAK current VLADIMIR???? and you call yourself a boxing fan?????! holyfield is a bum superheavyweight with 10+ defeats!!! don’t make a fool of yourself neil, both KlichKOs destroy holyfield hands down.

Posted April 30, 2013 2:39 am

Neil (Pomy)

Id go for a peak Holyfield over both K-brothers.

Posted April 30, 2013 1:58 am

holyfield fought trilogies with bowe and lewis. imagine if it was wlad and vitlay……dude would be destroyed. 90s fighters wouldnt even be use to the work rate/comubox of the klitschKOs. let alone the power and reach. their better range masters than lennox. better jabs too. im just saying imagine if lennox fought each brother 3 times. it would be so brutal. the klitschKO team is the most brutal thing in heavyweight history.

Right Tark I knew you for a long time your predictions and suggestions mostly hit the apple! Just stay here and educate a new coming bloggers!

Agree 100% with Bears!!!

Posted April 30, 2013 1:05 am

Funny how everyone dismisses pianeta. Glad Wlad isnt his old self and takes every opponent seriously. Last time he did that was against Sanders, and it nearly derailed him.

Posted April 29, 2013 11:57 pm

Hail to the kings!!!! the klitschKOs!!!!! can imagine if someone had to fight multiple fights with these guys??? oh, like sam peter. then got utterly destroyed and rendered useless. if the klitschKOs were in the 90s. imagine if someone fought trilogies with BOTH BROTHERS??? do you think they would survive? imagine if ali fought each brother 6 times or frazier or foreman. imagine if ANYBODY foght trilogies or multiple fights with them. it would be bad for them. nobody can survive at the top while the klitschkO’s are around. i dont care what era your talking

Sredmond…, You dis Corrie Sanders as a “C-level Heavyweight” LMFAO, You praised Michael Grant as a great Lennox Lewis win. 6’7” X 260 Jameel McCline KO’d Grant in the 1st round for Grant’s 2nd loss. Wladimir Klitschko then KO’d McCline to improve his record to 41-1. Then Corrie Sander 39-2, KO’d Wladimir in the 2nd round. Lennox Lewis repeatedly called Sanders at his training camp and told Corrie he’s the best attacker in the heavyweight division—and said he had the perfect style to beat Wladimir. I guess Lewis doesn’t know what the Hell he’s talking about. Lennox Lewis-Wladimir Klitschko was THE heavyweight fight everyone talked about, and Sanders threw a wet blanket on it. If you score on the bell curve: A, B, C, D, and F, Sanders was easily in the top 20% of heavyweights…even the top 1%.. So easily A-level. C-level fighters don’t become Heavyweight Champion or achieve a record of 39-2. Sanders fought the Klitschkos back to back—going 8 tough rounds with Vitali. Stop your hating.

Vit will fight Stiverne.

Posted April 29, 2013 7:17 pm

Hey, maybe Wlad will fight 3 defenses this year. I’d like to see him fight Povetkin & Pulev after he destroys Pianeta. If not Pulev, maybe Wilder, Fury or Stiverne.

Posted April 29, 2013 6:34 pm

Jesus, Corrie Sanders? we know he starched Klitschko but that guy was NOT some sort of Big Time relevant HW stopping Wlad aside… Let him rest in his grave as the C level HW he was…. Good Grief!

Posted April 29, 2013 5:17 pm

Mk if you see Tyson fury as a big Corey sanders, you don’t have a clue about boxing. Fury doesn’t have power anything like sanders had.

Prof Konje

The Klitchko brothers fight whoever is next and whoever is put in front of them. I don’t know why people put the brothers down just because they’re head and shoulders above the competition. It’s called boxing, not street fighting and they are excellent boxers. Has it occurred to some of you that maybe the other heavyweights are afraid to face them? How is it either Klitchko’s fault if there is no competition?

Nobody beating Dr Steel Hammer for a long time yet….

Wlad should show Pulev his limts. Pulev-Wlad 2013!

Posted April 29, 2013 3:39 pm

Tyson Fury is green, yes, but he is the only current Hw that is crazy enough to do damage to WK. I was very disappointed by Hayes defensive style against WK. One thing that is basic, is that you show up for a world title fight, without a big belly. How I miss a prime Tyson, Lewis and Holyfield. I see Tyson Fury, as a physically bigger Corrie Sanders. Wild, crazy and dangerous. On another note, Vitaly is getting old, and Wlad may still have that weak chin that he is trying so hard to protect, with that boring style.

Hey Tark, what do you say about Wlad fighting another legend in Pianeta ? Do you believe Pianeta would stand a chance against the likes of ron Lyle, Norton or Foreman, are you sure he’s better than ruddy lubbers, or Evangelista ?
I am waiting for you reply and strong analysis.

Textbook Hayelord

Must be difficult to get motivated to train for a guy like Pianeta, Wlad’s level will drop if he fights to many guys like this.

Wlad should have just fought Povetkin now instead of later in the year, Povetkin is no threat but Pianeta is just pointless.

The eye of the tiger!!

Neil (Pomy)

The K-brothers should of sacked Bernard Bonte years ago.

Posted April 29, 2013 1:15 pm

the dude

Wlad’s recent opponents have been very poor Thompson, Wach, Mormeck and now pianta all level c fighters – there are so many decent match ups that could be made with pulev, fury, povetkin, banks, stiverne even a Haye rematch – hopefully teh K brotehrs retire soon and we can have some decnt match ups as the rest fight for the titles

Slim Whitman

After this change his name to Pinata

Posted April 29, 2013 12:56 pm

As much as I like the Klitschko bros, but I won’t pay to see a sparring. I’d like to see Vlad fight Pulev. I think that’s the best opponent out there at the moment. Fury is still too green, and the others are avoiding the K Bros.

Neil (Pomy)

Hoping for the upset ….. more so than usual because of yet another bullsh+t match-up for the linear heavyweight champ. This belongs in the Mormeck catagory of bullsh+t match-ups.

problem is the better HW are busy fighting bums too!!!

Posted April 29, 2013 12:48 pm
